Merlin POV

I could feel myself slowly wakening but i still couldn't open my eyes. "Sire stop worrying, he should wake up soon." explained what sounded like a tired Gaius. Well, at least Arthur was a live! It struck me, where was Morgana? But then it came back to me. The Dragon, The fight, Freya, The Doctor and Ethan. Ethan is dead but Morgana isn't. These past few months have been an adventure. My Adventures. Merlin's Adventures. "Merlin has certainly been on a journey!" said Gwaine who only sounded slightly drunk!

With much effort i opened my eyes. Slightly blinded by sunlight. I had been out for a whole day. "A-arthur!" i called groggily.

"Merlin!" cried Arthur happily. He gave me a hug - which i was shocked at! I winced slightly. "Sorry. " he apologised. I just smiled.

"I just want to say Thank you for sticking with me through these dark times. For never giving up on me when i was kidnapped, Arthur for trying you're best to help me when we were stuck in the 21st century. And if you're out there Doctor, for saving my life and being there with your mad blue box." i smiled weakly.

"We owe everyone so much." agreed everyone.

"C'mon Merlin, let's all go down the Rising Sun and drink to our health." suggested Gwaine

"Be careful Merlin, keep the sling on and if you feel sick come back." warned Gaius. I nodded and Arthur, Gwaine, Leon, Percival and i began to file through the door. We stopped as we heard a whirring noise. There in the centre of the room was the TARDIS. The door opened and the doctor appeared wearing a fez. "Who's ready to part-a-y?" yelled the Doctor performing his trademark 'Drunk Giraffe.' Laughing we all headed towards the Rising Sun.

SOMEWHERE IN THE DARKLING WOODS....

Morgana limped through the woods, hands covered in blood. Her hair swept messily over her face. Staggering she fell and landed on her side. She gasped in pain eyes glowing a weak orange. She knew this was the end. In defeat Morgana shut her eyes and lay still. Suddenly a bright light erupted in the woods. A figure rised out of the ground, trees shook and animals fled. The light grew brighter. Then slowly the figure drifted to the floor. She ran over to Morgana, her blonde curls fell over face.

"Ic þe þurhhæle þin licsare mid þam sundorcræftas þære ealdaþ." she whispered, her eyes were glowing a determined amber. Morgana took a sharp intake of breath and looked up. "Sister?"

Morgause has returned...

Had to put the Doctor in the last chap one last hurrah for the drunk giraffe. I want to thank EVERYONE for reading my book, voting and the amazing comments. I can't believe this book has had 1.7K reads. It's amazing! Thank you so much. I'm going to post another chap but that's going to be about the next book. Overwelmed with all your support especially @KnightofCamelot14 who has been great. I will hopefully post the sequel this week so keep an eye out for it! I will probably post a chap on here to say that it is posted :)
