Where do you come up with ideas that aren't requests?

A lot of times my stories come whenever I'm listening to a song and I think about Merlin or just Merlin scenarios. General writing with OC's and whatnot, it usually just comes to me. Here's a tip on writing something like a one-shot: Think about the genre of your story, and branch out. Take Merlin for example. Say you want to write a one-shot of Merlin, but you don't know where to start. Well, think. Merlin deals with magic, you have a brotherly bond, secrets, knights, a king, and a queen. Because Merlin has so many magical creatures, you can think about a one-shot relating to that, but try not to use a creature that the show has already used, unless you're really innovating it. In this case, we'll use a werewolf. So, you have the Merlin characters facing a werewolf. You can use Merlin or Arthur, both good and popular choices, or you can make it a little more unique by using someone like Percival or Gwen. Or, if you want to use a creature that has already been used, say, the griffon, then you can make it wear instead of the knights run into a single griffon, they run into a whole nest of them. Bam, original and interesting story. I hope that advice helps you in some way!

What made you start writing on Wattpad?

I've always been passionate about reading and writing, and when I got into Merlin, I fell deep into the fandom. Soon, I just started getting all of these ideas that just would NOT leave me. The only way to get rid of them was to start writing, and, well, here we are!

Are you going to write anything other than your One-Shot page?

For a while, it's just going to be my Merlin One-Shots, but when that finally slows down, I'll do a Merlin original story. If that does well, then I will start writing my own original stories. Don't worry, I will probably still have my Merlin One-Shot book open for requests.

Who are your favorite Authors?

Neal Shusterman, who wrote the Scythe series, and Jeffrey Scott Savage, who wrote the Fires of Invention series. I highly recommend those books, they're absolutely amazing!

Are you okay with writing something like Merthur?

I am straight, but I do support the LGTBQ+ community, so don't be afraid to leave a request for something like Merthur or PerciGwaine.
