Merlin POV

It took me longer to return to camp, a couple of times i had to stop the sweep of nausea that trailed behind me. I decided to walk the rest of the way, running became to exhausting. The moon was high in the night sky as i crept into bed. I checked that everyone was asleep, which luckily they were.

"Forbearnan." I whispered. There was a blaze of light - it worked. It worked! The grin on my face was one of the largest i could manage. I felt the magic coursing through my veins and i felt whole again. Like the missing puzzle piece had been put back into place.

I fiddled with my fingers as sleep avoided me. How did she know? I know none of the knights would have betrayed me. Who could of revealed my secret. If Arthur finds out i don't know what i will do. Will he banish me? Or... kill me? Maybe he'll take it well? However, i doubt that. This is a really big secret to keep from, i've managed it for so long though. The burden is starting to feel heavier than it ever has. It just doesn't make sense. I sighed and propped myself against the tree but still close enough to the fire to keep myself warm.

Soon my mind calmed and i managed to drift to sleep - even though it was just before the dawn - that is the darkest hour though. (A.n See what i did there :P)

I woke to a slight splatter of rain on my cheek. More followed soon after. I blearily opened my eyes to see Arthur and the Knights packing blankets and food away. I stood up to try and help but sunk back to the floor because the world started to spin. I waited a couple of minutes and then slowly got of the ground. My ribs felt ever so slightly better, maybe the magic was speeding up my recovery time. "Merlin, you're awake." smiled Arthur, "How are you feeling?"

"Quite a bit better thanks!" i replied cheerily.

"You're in a good mood. Did anything happen?" asked Mordred, face etched with suspicion

"N-no nothing really." i added

"A man can always be in a good mood!" laughed Gwaine who took a bite from a ruby red apple. I nodded frantically in agreement. Gwaine can always get you out of a sticky situation. Mordred  nodded but he looked at me with uncertainty.

"C'mon, we need to get going if we want to get to Camelot anytime soon." urged Arthur. Everyone murmured in agreement and soon we were back on trail.

Hello :) Sorry it is quite short but another longer update will be coming tomorrow. I have my final Spanish speaking assessment tomorrow and then they are all out of the way (finally) :)

Did anyone watch/go to Glastonbury? It was practically all i watched over the weekend. My faves were Arcade Fire, Ed Sheeran, Vance Joy, Nick Mulvey and Jake Bugg!
