Heyyy
Yup, It's an Update.
It's short because I didn't want to upload another AN so I am updating whatever I had written already with it. :)
LOL ONE TYPO MADE YOU ALL PANIC, I am sorry! I missed one word there and you all thought I am deleting the story /.\
So, I read all the suggestions yesterday and obviously decided not to make any changes to the book. Idk why people found using Rabbi's name appropriate (no offence); like what if I end up killing the character?
I had a problem writing about Waqas being with someone else in General. I still do. But I am not going to turn it to a Waqas and Rabbi love story. Pshht naah.
But I think 2-3 of you told me that hey, it's just a story and Waqas is just a character. Don't think of him as DB anymore, there must be hundreds of Waqas in the world.
Well, true that!
So I will continue the book with the original plot and characters but this will be my last one on Waqas.
BTW!
Itne silent readers aate kahan Se hein? I still have about 16 messages to open from people that have never popped up on my newsfeed and all of them say something along the line that nahiiii don't delete the book 0.0
I honestly had so much happening in my mind but now when I calm and almost don't care, I think I'll continue the book with him being just a character. Well my stories never really turn out as fanfics anyway. They hardly have anything about the 'Dhoombros'
Anyway,
Thank you so much for your messages and suggestions.
Happy Reading This Chotu sa Chapter <3
Ps: comments mat Bhool na XD
WAQAS' POV
"Mujhe kaise pata hoga Shehry ko kya pasand hai?" Roop asked me as we walked through several stores in the mall.
"If you were to gift something to your guy friend, what would you buy?" I asked her as we entered a gift shop.
"I don't have guy friends," she shrugged and I rolled my eyes. "Fine. If you had to gift me something, what would you?"
She giggled, shyly covering her mouth, and I raised an eyebrow at her response.
Aisa kya dene wali hai?
"Bol bhi de, gift aaj raat dena hai, agle mahine Nahi," I rolled my eyes again, growing impatient.
After a long thought, a stupid suggestion left her mouth, "greeting card de do."
"You and your lame suggestions," I huffed in disbelief and walked past her.
"Arrey! Seriously, gift Ka price Nahi uske Peeche Ke jazbaat dekhne chahiye. Trust me he will like the card more," she said as she caught up with me and I shook my head at her.
"Greeting card Se better koi gift card ya credit card hi de doon, woh zyada accha."
"Toh mujhse pooch kyu rahe hein, jo mann main aaye kariyein na," she snorted, stomping her foot on the ground, and walked away. I groaned, as she went out of the store.
Ab isse sambhaloo ya gift Ko?
Gift!
I ran over to the girls' section and picked up a white teddybear with a pink tie around its neck. It was big but definitely not as big as her Mr Bennie. The lady behind the counter smiled at me as I paid for it and ran outside, looking for Roop. Luckily she was in a chocolates shop right across from this one.
"Tu yahan kya Kar rahi hai?" I asked her once I was standing beside her. The man behind the counter was weighing all the chocolate Roop had selected.
"Bhangra, karenge?" She Sassed, not sparing a glance at me.
"Meri billi mujhi ko meow?" I muttered, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Eleven fifty," the cashier spoke and I pulled out my wallet before Roop could open her hand bag and paid for the chocolates. She took the brown paper bag and we exited the store.
"Tum ladkiya ek doosre Ko kya deti ho?" I asked her.
"Kuch bhi," she shrugged, "we have a lot of options like chocolates, cosmetics, clothes jewellery—"
"Teddybears?" I asked her, cutting her off, and pulled it out of the gift bag. Roop slightly widened her eyes at her sight before looking up at me.
"Aap Shehry Ko teddy bear denge?" She gasped, making me want to bang my head against a wall. Ek din pagal Kar Ke chodegi mujhe.
"Haan, isn't it as cute as him?" I smiled at her sarcastically and she rolled her eyes at me.
"Aap sach main thore pagal lagte hein Mujhe. I suggested Shirt, tie, camera, watch and card but you ended up buying this? Yeh toh ladkiyon Ki cheez hai."
"Yeh ek pagal ladki Ke liye hi laya tha. But like I said, woh thori pagal hai," I pointed out as I snatched the teddy from her. I was about shove it in the gift bag again when Roop grabbed it by its head.
"Ek minute ek minute! Yeh..... mere.... liye hai?" She asked unsure. Actually pagal hai.
"Nahi mere liye hai," I told her and she whined. "Waqas! Kabhi toh seedhe seedhe jawab de diya karo."
"Accha sorry," I sighed, "rakh Le, Tu bhi kya yaad karegi."
"Ehsaan Kar rahe ho?" She smacked my torso with it and walked ahead. Haye, Maarti badi zor Se hai!
Imagine having an actual argument with her. Do second mein main toh dher hi ho jaunga.
"Oh rukk oye!" I yelled as I ran after her, "chal, koi shirt hi Pasand Kar lete hein."
"Bari jaldi line Pe aa Gaye aap?" She chuckled as she looked up at me and took my sunglasses off my tshirt before walking away again.
Zara si baat kya man lo, sir pe chardh jaati hai. I groaned as I ran after her again. "Oh hello, I only agreed for you, okay? Otherwise I still don't like the idea."
She chuckled as she slipped on my sunglasses and I huffed, seeing that teasing smile on her lips.
"I think we should pick a black shirt. the colour suits Shehry," I suggested after a few minutes of rummaging through the racks of new arrivals.
"Yeah, black is his colour," Roop agreed with me, "he looks hot in it."
What?
"Devar hai tera, thori toh sharam kar le," I reminded her. She turned to look at me and slowly slid the black shades down to the tip of her nose. "Wahi toh nahi aati naww, kya karoon?"
I'd be lying if I said she wasn't looking cute.
"Toh marr jaa ke," I huffed and walked past her to pick up a few shirts. I lowly chuckled when she gasped behind me; I could already picture her eyebrows knitted together.
"Soch lo, marr gayi toh sabse zyada yaad karoge," She poked my arm, "sapno main chali aaungi."
"Please," I chuckled loudly this time, "I'll read Ayat-ul Kursi before going to bed."
"Haw!" She gasped and pointed her finger at me. I watched her with my raised eyebrows while she tried saying something. Her mouth moved a several times, her face was red from anger. As much as she tried to speak, not a single word came out of her mouth and she closed it again.
"Whatever," she huffed, stomping her foot on the ground again and walked away.
"Whatever," I mimicked her annoyed tone as a laugh escaped my lips, remembering her red nose.
ROOP's POV
"Had hoti hai mazak ki," I huffed, finding a spot to sit, "no limits, I tell you."
Once I found a bench, I kept the chocolates on it and sat beside the packet. Opening it, I took out the fudge flavoured chocolate and took a bite from it. As the flavour melted in my mouth, I sighed, feeling calmer.
"Is that how you talk to a lady?" I asked once I gulped down the chocolate, "Zara bhi manners Nahi hein."
Taking out another piece, I looked down at the teddybear, "tum khaoge?"
It's large beads were staring back at me like actual eyes.
"Chalo na Khao," I shrugged and I ate the chocolate. Taking off Waqas' shades, I made the teddy wear them.
"He is so khadoos. Dekha na tumne?" I pouted at the teddy and sighed. Yeh Kaunsa jawab dene Wala hai?
"She is so bhukkad, dekha na tumne?" Someone, on my right, copied my tone. I looked up and found Waqas with another teddy bear in his hand. "Kab se akele akele khaa rahi hai."
"Aap baar baar yeh teddies kahan se le aate hein?" I frowned at him and he gestured me to come closer.
"Chori kar ke," he whispered in my ear, making me widen my eyes. He picked up my chocolates' packet and dug right into it..
"Very funny," I gave him a sarcastic smile as I stood up and snatched the packet out of his hand.
"Kahan jaa rahi hai?" He called out behind me as I walked away from him.
"Marrne, Chalenge?" I yelled back, and he came running up to me.
"Chal, saath saath foodcourt main marte hein. I am starving," He wrapped his arm around mine and dragged me with him.
"Bas khaate raha karo," I retorted but that only made him laugh. He squeezed my cheeks between his thumb and two finger to annoy me even more.
WAQAS' POV
"What do you want?" I asked her once we reached the foodcourt. She scanned the large boards before pointing at a cafe.
"Good choice," I commented as we got in the line.
"One vanilla and caramel frappe for me," I placed my order and turned to her, "what do you want?"
She frowned, reading the menu before looking at the guy behind the counter. "Hi umm... Shane?"
He smiled at her when she addressed him with his name. I raised an eyebrow at her. Itna ghoor Ke chota da name badge dekha?
"You know I am a little confused, it's such a hot day today," Roop pouted at him, keeping her elbows on the counter, "I just don't know what to order."
"Toh main help Kar deta hoon," I whispered to her and looked at Shane, who looked like a teenager to me, "she will go wi—"
"How about you suggest something?" Roop's voice interrupted me and my eyes travelled back to her. She was batting her eyelids at Shane.
Bacche Ke saath flirt karegi?
"Me?" Shane asked out of surprise. Haan Haan urd Le hawa main saaley.
"What would you go for if you were to order. Help me a little maybe?" Roop asked him again and he looked down at the menu.
"Uhh... Double chocolate cookies and cream sundae with dark chocolate syrup?" He asked her and she smiled instantly.
"Sounds great! Make that two!" Roop grinned, showing him two fingers, and I frowned at her.
"Do Kyun?" I asked her. She rolled her eyes at me and opened her hand in front of my face.
"Paise Waqas," she asked, ignoring my question, "uff! Rehne do."
She opened her bag but, I quickly pulled out my wallet and paid for the order. Shane smiled at us as he gave me the receipt and turned around to get the order ready.
"I am telling you, it's going to be really heavy and cold. If you fall sick again the—"
"Sir your drink," Shane's irritating voice cut mine off and I shot him a look. He extended my drink towards me and I quickly grabbed it. Roop snickered beside me for some reason and I rolled my eyes at the teddy that I was still holding.
"Here you go, love," Shane's voice came again and I looked up instantly. Love hogi Teri girlfriend who probably doesn't even exist.
"Thank you!" Roop shot him a wide smile and grabbed one of the large plastic cups, "have a great day."
"You ordered two ma'am," Shane reminded her and she smiled, shaking her head. "I said have great day, Shane!"
Roop turned around to leave and I frowned at her as she walked up to a table and sat down.
"A random act of kindness on a random day won't hurt, Waqas," she chuckled, probably reading my confuses expressions, "look how he is smiling."
I looked back at Shane and found him smiling down at the cup in his hands. I felt myself smiling too when I realised what Roop had just done.
"Pagal hai Tu poori," I muttered and instantly a sharp pain rose in my left leg when she jabbed her pointy shoe there.
"Aap honge Pagal!"
