Anirudh and Bondita are now settled in two different extreme location of India.

Anirudh is in Bombay, left side of India.
Bondita is in Culcutta, Right side of India.

It's morning 6 am. Today is first day of their class.

~In Dalhousie Hostel~

Bondita is awake rest of them are sleeping, including warden.

She opened the window. The bright sun light welcomed her crimson face.

Her lips widened to give a smile at the birds that are chirping on her window side.

She poured some water on a small bowl for that birds to drink. Then she returned to her bed.

Bondita: Today is my first day of school. I am scared as well as excited. How will it be? Will the students like me? Will teacher speak to me?

Many questions are running inside her tiny brain but without wasting her time she went to take bath.

~In Bombay Hostel~

Anirudh is awake. Manyavar is sleeping.

He opened the windows only to witness cloudy sky.

It is drizzling. Chill breeze blows on his face and it spreads to entire room.

Manyavar: Ssss! Why suddenly it is chill?

He murmured in sleep.

Anirudh: Good morning, Manyavar.

Manyavar: Morning....

He said in half sleep, covered his face to toe with bedsheet and continues to sleep.

Anirudh shook his head and went to bathroom to take a bath.

~In Dalhousie hostel~

Bondita is ready. She is wearing Blue and White combination dress(frock) that was given to her by Anirudh during her challenge. Her hair is two plotted with a white ribbon.

She admires herself in mirror.

Bondita: Dekhiye, Pati babu. This dress suits me very well.

She said in excitement and turned back. But soon her smile vanished on realising the reality.

Bondita: It would be nice if he were presented here.

She reminds of the Star pendant and holds it in her hand and closed her eyes.

Bondita: Pati babu, you told me to speak with this star whenever I want to convey you something. Today I am wearing the dress (frock) which you bought me.

She smiled.

~In Bombay hostel~

Anirudh comes out from bathroom wearing one of the shirts which were washed and dried by Bondita.

He admires himself in mirror and smiled. He is wearing a blue formal shirt and a white comfort pant.

Anirudh: Bondita, still the washing powder fragnance is there. How is this long lasting?

He said with a widened smile and turned back but soon it vanished after realising the reality.

Anirudh recalls Bondita making breakfast at this time.

Anirudh thinks: I would be drinking tea if I was there. Bondita would be making breakfast now if she were there. Kaka sasurji and Batuk would have went to stall. Somnath would be in mill now.

He smiled.

~In Dalhousie Hostel~

Devi comes to Bondita's room and stunned to see Bondita.

Devi: Wow! Bondita, this frock is so beautiful. Where do you bought this?

Bondita: My pati... Huh I mean, my paati ma(grand ma) bought me.

Devi: You looking so beautiful in this dress, Bondita. If you were my doll then I would have squeezed you now by cuddling it.

Bondita: Thank god I am not your doll.

They both giggled. By hearing their voice warden woke up.

She looks at Bondita.

Bondita: Good morning miss.

Elizabeth smiled at her.

Devi: Good morning miss.

Elizabeth rose up from her bed. Bondita and Devi looks on.

Elizabeth: Very good, you two are already ready?

Bondita: Yes miss.

Elizabeth: Good, i will go and check the British girls. You two stay here itself. When I ring the bell, come near my table.

Devi: Okay miss.

Elizabeth left the place.

Devi: Did you slept well yesterday?

Bondita: Not much!

Devi: Today I will ask miss to shift me here. Shall I?

Bondita: Sure, I too feel alone here. So please do it.

Devi smiled and took out her books from bag and started revising it.

Bondita is scared by looking at the book.

Devi: Today miss told homework. That's why I am studying like this.

Bondita: Hom..ho..home... What is it?

Devi: You don't know homework?

Bondita nods no slowly.

Devi: In which school have you studied previously?

Bondita's eyes rolls here and there. Devi looks on.

Bondita: Devi, this is my first day school. I haven't attended any school before.

Devi: What?! How did you got enrolled directly in 5th std then?

Bondita: Sarpanch ji helped us.

Devi: Oh no, Bondita! Do you know to read and write atleast?

She nods no slowly.

Devi: Theek hain, no problem. I will teach you letters. But be sure no one must know about your weakness. Especially those british girls. Okay?

Bondita: Okay! I too will learn it soon.

She smiled.

By this time Elizabeth rang the bell. Bondita and Devi stepped outside as per she told them.

Bella, Sarah and Mary are already standing there. They smirks at Bondita.

Mary: Miss, why she is wearing color dress?

Elizabeth: She is new here. Soon she will get her uniform.

Sarah: Well, she might have not paid the fees. That's why she didn't got her uniform. Poor girl. Hey hindustani, if you want money then ask me. I will help you.

She laughed sarcastically. Bella gave her a hifi and they three laughs at her.

Bondita: Hey angrezi!! When did I told you I need your help?

Bella: How dare you!!

Elizabeth: Keep quite, girls. If you fight like this then I will send you to principal. Now come on, let's have breakfast.

Bondita stares at them. They three goes with Elizabeth to dining hall. Bondita and Devi follows them.

~In Bombay hostel~

Anirudh, Manyavar with other students are standing in queue in dining hall.

The British boys confronted Anirudh again. Harry, Brendon, James, Josh and Patrick. They call themselves as Swagy 5.

Harry: Boys, look at him. He is the one who made problem yesterday.

He points at Anirudh.

Anirudh stares at them but remains calm.

Manyavar whispered: No, Anirudh. This is first day. Let them speak whatever they want. You don't listen them.

Anirudh shook his head. British boys interrupted in middle of the queue which made Anirudh and Manyavar to go behind.

Anirudh: Why they are doing like this?

Manyavar: Because they are britishers.

Anirudh: So? They are behaving like this whole college belongs them.

Manyavar: Duuude! Ofcourse it belongs to them. India itself belongs to britishers only then what about this college!

Anirudh: It belongs only, not permanently theirs. One day we will raise our voice over them. One day India will be freed from them. We will rule India on our own.

Manyavar: Let's dream!

They got the food and went to the table. British boys comes there and sat beside them purposely.

Manyavar and Anirudh remains silent and concentrates in food.

Josh: Hey you, give me the bread.

Manyavar: It is in counter. Why you are asking mine?

Josh: I can't go and stand in the queue again. So give me yours and you go and get another from the counter.

Manyavar: But it's getting late to my class.

Harry: Late?! So you are indirectly telling us that you won't obey us.

Manyavar: When did I said it?

Harry: See, this is angrezi college. We are boss here. Your only job is to bow your heads before us, always.

Anirudh controls his anger and continues to eat.

Patrick poured water on Anirudh's plate. They 5 laughs.

James: Yesterday you was complaining your dear friend that this bread is so hard right? Now eat it, water will make it softer.

They laughed. Anirudh rose up without telling anything.

Harry grabs Anirudh's collar. Manyavar rose up in shock.
