It is morning. Anirudh and Bondita are ready to go to Oak leaf school.

~In room~

Anirudh: Bondita, you packed everything na?

Bondita: Hn, pati babu. You packed everything na?

Anirudh nods yes.

Anmol comes there and informs them jeep is ready.

Anirudh: Hn ji, we are coming.

Bondita looks at Anirudh with heavy heart. He tries to hide his emotions.

Anirudh: You remember everything that I thought you, right?

Bondita nods. They stepped out of the house with their luggages.

They got onto jeep. It started to move.

Anirudh refuses to look at Bondita because he knew he can't hold his emotions.

Bondita's eyes are moist already.

Anirudh thinks: I know you are crying inside. Same way, I am. But what to do if we want something then we must lose something.

He takes a deep breathe. On the way, Bondita notices a kulfi shop.

Bondita: Pati babu, will you buy me kulfi?

Anirudh: Driver ji, please stop the jeep.

They two jumped from the jeep and went to the kulfi cart.

Anirudh: Ji, two kulfi please.

Shop vendor gave them kulfi. Bondita wants to waste time. So she purposefully eats it slowly.

Anirudh: Bondita, make it fast. We must be on time.

Bondita eats it inch by inch on purpose.

Anirudh thinks: We have to wait for 3 years to eat this kulfi together again!

He looks at Bondita. Accidentally his pot fell down and broke.

Bondita looks on.

Vendor: Ji, you want another?

Anirudh: Nah, it's fine!

He dusted his hands. Bondita stretches her kulfi spoon towards him.

Anirudh looks on.

Bondita: Won't you get it from me?

Anirudh: It's okay Bondita, you eat.

Bondita: Fine, then i too don't want this.

She was about to put it down, Anirudh stopped her. Bondita stretches her spoon, he ate it. She smiled.

Anirudh got the spoon and fed her back with a smile.

Bondita then stretched her spoon again to him, Anirudh was about to get it but Bondita ate it herself.

She giggled. Anirudh blows his cheeks and turns aside. She then fed him.

After eating kulfi, they continued their journey and landed in Oak leaf school.

~In Oak leaf school~

Driver: Ji, I will wait in back yard.

He said and went. Bondita looks at the name board of the school.

Anirudh: This is the school where you are going to study, Bondita.

Bondita gave a fake smile.

They two stood outside itself without uttering anything. Their minds instincts them to get in but their hearts holding them back.

Bondita: Pati..pati babu, shall we go in?

She stretched her palm towards him  for him to hold it. Anirudh controls his emotions and holds her hand.

Bondita stepped forward but Anirudh stands there itself.

Bondita: What happened pati babu? Come on. It's getting late right?

Anirudh: Bondita, wait.

She returned to him.

Anirudh gives her a gift small box.

Bondita: Gift? For me?

Anirudh: Hn!

Bondita: Seri, I will open it after I get enrolled there.

Anirudh: Nah, open it now itself.

She opens it eagerly. It's a gold chain with a Star pendant.

Her lips widened.

Anirudh: Do you like it?

Bondita: Hn, pati babu. This is so beautiful. But why suddenly?

Anirudh: Huh... Bondita...

She looks on.

Anirudh: You can't wear mangalsutra inside the school.

Bondita: So?

Anirudh: So... I mean..

Bondita: Nahi pati babu, don't ask me do that. I won't. I won't remove my mangalsutra. You are alive then why should I remove it?

Anirudh: Bondita, please. Understand it. I gave you a replacement for it. Wear this chain give me the mangalsutra.

Bondita nods no by holding her mangalsutra. Anirudh convinces her.

Bondita: Theek hain, I will give it.

She takes off her mangalsutra with tears full eyes. Anirudh turned aside and controls his tears.

Bondita: Pati babu, here you have.

She gives it to Anirudh. He got it and looks on. 

Bondita: This more important than my life, pati babu.

"Ssh", he nods no and puts it inside his shirt pocket.

Bondita then wears her new chain.

Anirudh: It is so beautiful for you, Bondita.

He smiled.

Bondita: Let's go in now, pati babu.

She said in discomfort. They both entered the school campus.

~In School Campus~

Most of them are boys. Some are running here and there. Some are studying inside the class room. Some are playing.

Bondita looks around. Very few girls are presented.

Anirudh: There is principal room. Come lets go and enquire there.

She nodded and went with him to principal room.

~In principal room~

Principal: Come in!

They two came in.

Anirudh: Good morning sir.

Bondita: Goo..gu..gudu morning, Saar.

She smiled.

Principal: Take your seat. Wait, you are Anirudh Roy Chaudhary right? You came here before few days to write the exam. Am I right?

Anirudh: Yes, sir. You still remember me.

He smiled.

Principal: How can I forget you? In those 100 people only 2 are selected in that exam.

Anirudh: Really?

Principal: Hn, I heard it yesterday only. You and another boy.

Anirudh smiled.

Principal: Fine then, you are here for?

Anirudh: Huh... Sir.. she is my... my... 

She looks at Bondita.

Bondita: He is my neighbour.

Anirudh's eyes widened.

Principal: Good, why you are here now?

Anirudh: Sir, actually Anmol ji spoke to you yesterday right?

Principal: Oh, okay. Okay, I got remembered. He told me everything. But he said she is her  far relative. Didn't he came?

Anirudh: He has got some works. That's why he sent me with her.

Principal: Okay, okay! Little lady, what is your name?

Bondita: Bondita Das!

She smiled. Anirudh looks on.

Principal: What is your father name and Mother name?

Bondita: Bhaumik das and Sumati das.

Principal: Very good! You have any other in your house?

Bondita: Yes Saar, I have aachi ma, Lavanya akka and pat..

Anirudh nods no with a widened eyes.

Bondita: And paati ma(grandma). 

Principal: Very good, very good. Anmol already informed me. So there is no other formalities. Because we huge respect for him. You can attend school from tomorrow. Uniforms, books and rest of the things will be given to her in hostel.

Bondita smiled with heavy heart.

Anirudh: Shall I leave her in hostel sir?

Principal: Yeah, sure. Let her take rest today.

He signed in papers and gave it to them.

Anirudh and Bondita came out of the room and walks towards hostel.

It is in backside of the school.

Bondita tightens her grip on his hand and walks by. Tears rolls down from his eyes.
