Bondita was confronted by British girls but Elizabeth cleared them. Meanwhile in Bombay, Anirudh is confronted by british boys in dining hall.

Harry grabbed Anirudh's collar.

He takes a jam and comes near to Anirudh's dress.

Harry smirked and was about to pour it on Anirudh's shirt.

Manyavar is stunned. Other boys stepped back.

Harry: How dare you, slave dog!

He raised his hand on Anirudh but warden arrived there.

Warden: What's going here? Isn't it getting late for your classes? Move on, come out from the dining hall fast.

He said and went. Harry death stares at Anirudh.

Anirudh and Manyavar walks out from there.

Devi and Bondita reached their class room. Devi entered in but Bondita stands outside itself.

She looks inside the class with a passionate eyes.

Bondita: Durga ma, today is my first class. I want you to be with me everytime. Please give me knowledge and strength to study well. And hn, please take care of Pati babu and his family and my own family.

She gave a wide smile and steps into the class.

"Bondita", someone called her in excitement.

Bondita turned back and gave a widened smile.

She ran and hugged her.

Bondita: Hn, we stayed in her house during storm.

Pinky smiled.

Devi: She rarely comes to class. Today she came na tomorrow she won't come.

Pinky nodded. Teacher entered the class.

By this time Professor arrives there. Everyone rose up and wished him.

Professor: Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Take your seats.

Everyone sat except Anirudh and Manyavar. Harry and his gang smirked.

Professor: Take your seat, gentlemen.

Anirudh: Sir, we don't have bench.

Professor: What?!

He looks around.

Professor: Why Harry and his friends are sitting seperately today?  You 5 used to sit together only right?

Harry: From today we will sit like this only, sir.

Professor: You share one bench as like before. See here, new students are standing without bench.

James: Ask them to sit down.

Professor: What?! Is this the way you behave with your fellow students?

Josh: They are indians. So why should we behave good with them?

Professor: Shut up. This is college. Ni politics inside the campus. Now move and sit.

James and Josh shifted to Harry's bench. Anirudh and Manyavar took their place.

Professor started his class.

Teacher: Now question time! Children, are you all ready for the quiz?

Everyone shouted "yes". Bondita is afraid because she doesn't know anything.

Bondita whispered: Devi, what will I do now? I don't know anything. What if miss ask me question?

Devi: Do not worry, Bondita. You are a new student. So be calm.

Bondita looks on. Teacher started asking question in alphabetical order of the attendance.

Bondita's fear rises. She starts to sweat.

Those 3 british girls are eagerly waiting for Bondita's chance than theirs.

Teacher: Bondita Das....

Bondita sits quite as she didn't listened her.

Teacher: Who is Bondita Das?

Devi: Bondita, stand up. Miss is calling you.

Bondita jerked and rose up slowly. Whole class is looking at her.

Teacher: You are the new student right?

Bella: Miss, atleast ask her to write A to Z on the board. We have to see her handwriting.

Teacher: Yeah, that's a good idea. Bondita, go to board and write alphabets.

She gives her the chalk. Bondita stands still without getting it with the bowed head.

Teacher: What happened? Come out to board.

Bondita gets the chalk piece with much hesitation. British girls smirked at her.

Devi and Pinky looks on.

Teacher: Come here, write.

Bondita goes near the board and blinks on. Her mind is completly empty.

Whole class is looking at her.

Professor asks a common question to class. Everyone are thinking for the answer. But Anirudh rose up and answered it correctly.

Professor: Very good! Very good! I didn't expect this perfect answer from you. By the way what is your name?

Anirudh: Anirudh, sir.

Professor: Well done, sit down please. Class, clap for him.

Everyone clapped except British boys.

Manyavar: Besh Besh, Anirudh!

He pats his shoulder. Anirudh smiled.

~In Oak leaf school~

Bondita is standing still without doing anything.

Teacher: Don't be afraid. Write the letters.

Bondita: Miss... actually...

Teacher looks on.

Bella: Actually she doesn't know to read and write.

She shouted. Bondita is shocked. Everyone started laughing except Devi and Pinky.

Mary: What, a 5th student doesn't knows letters?

She laughs highly. Bondita's eyes filled with tears.

Teacher: Silence! What is this Bondita, you are in 5th standard but still you don't know letters?

Bondita nods no hesitatingly.

Sara: Miss, she came here through recommendation. She is a waste. She don't even know a single letter.

Teacher: Keep quite! Bondita, atleast write Hindi letters.

Devi: Miss, she belongs to Madras.

Teacher: Fine then write Tamil letters.

Bondita nods no. Everyone laughs. By this time bell rang on.

Teacher: Okay students, my class is over. Stay quite until your English miss comes.

She said and went. At once she went out, british girls started bullying Bondita.

Bondita breaks down into tears.

They chants against Bondita.
Devi and Pinky are helpless.

Bondita sat under the bench and starts crying.
