Anirudh reached his college. He met Manyavar there. He took him to the hostel.

Hostel name is "The Great Britain Hostel".

Manyavar: Anirudh, let's stay in same room. Tell the warden about it.

Anirudh: Sure!

He went to warden and greeted him. Warden's name is Alexander.

After completing his formalities in hostel, Manyavar took him to his room.

The room was fine, 4 members can stay inside but as of now only Manyavar and Anirudh are going to share it because rest of them are britishers.

Anirudh kept down his luggages on cot and sat on it.

Manyavar: I was afraid when I came here. Because everyone are British. But thank god, you came.

Anirudh: Won't they speak with us?

Manyavar: Don't know, but they didn't even greeted me in return.

Anirudh: When will our class start?

Manyavar: May be from tomorrow. Arey yar, on first day itself you are asking about classes?

Anirudh: For tha only we are here. Where is Bathroom?

Manyavar: There it is! Sometimes there will be no water service. I don't know, i heard it from British students.

Anirudh: Then what to do?

Manyavar: Outside we have hand pump, we can use it, I think so.

Anirudh nods and went to bathroom to take bath. He removed his shirt, Bondita's mangalsutra fell down in  tub.

He took it at once wipes it on his shirt. He glares at it.

Anirudh: What will be Bondita doing now? Durga ma, be with her always. She should not feel weak.

He puts it again to his pocket. After sometime he came out from bathroom.

Manyavar: Lunch time! Come fast Anirudh or else we will get less quantity only.

Anirudh: Hn, you go first, I will come behind you.

Manyavar: Let's go together, come.

Anirudh wants to keep the mangalsutra safe somewhere. That's why he hesitates to go with him.

Manyavar: Aren't you hungry?

Anirudh: I am hungry only but...

Manyavar: But what? Tell me whatever it is, why you are now standing like a statue?

Anirudh: I will tell you one thing but you should not over react. You should understand me.

Manyavar: What dude, You brought secret lunch inside? Take out it let's eat it secretly?

Anirudh: Nahi!

Manyavar: Then?

Anirudh took out Bondita's mangalsutra and showed to him. Manyavar's smile reduced.

Manyavar: From where did you steal it? You are robber hn? Hey baghvan, why you sent a robber to stay with me?

Anirudh: Arey Chup! I am not a robber.

Manyavar: If so, from where you got it? Anirudh, tell me the truth. Are you going to runaway from here to marry a Tamil girl? That's why bought this right?

Anirudh: Oh Durga ma, Manyavar listen! This is Bondita's.

Manyavar: Bondita? Who is she?

Anirudh: She is my....

He stopped.

Manyavar: She is your what?

Anirudh: Bondita is... my... my...

Manyavar: Forgot words hn?

Anirudh: She is my wife!

Manyavar is shocked.

Anirudh: Please don't disclose this to anyone. Please. I will explain you about our marriage.

Manyavar: You are married?!

Anirudh: Yeah but it can't be considered as marriage.

He explains him about the marriage.

~In Dalhousie hostel~

Bondita is in her room. She is looking at mirror. No sindoor, No mangalsutra. No veil around her head.

Bondita: Again I became normal Bondita. The way I was used to be in my Haveli.

She smiled.

Elizabeth came there.

Elizabeth: Bondita, here is your cupboard key. Arrange your clothes neatly inside it.

Bondita: Okay miss.

She got the key from her. Elizabeth notices Bondita's chain.

Elizabeth: Is that gold?

Bondita looks down to her chain.

Elizabeth: Will you keep it safely?

Bondita: Yes miss, I will look after it safely.

Elizabeth: Hn, be careful. By the way, the Star pendant is beautiful.

Bondita reminds of Anirudh and smiled. Warden went out. Bondita starts to arrange her cupboard.

~In Anirudh's hostel~

Manyavar: Wow, what a story! What a story! I am literally crying inside, dude! You are really a warrior. You are Rakshak. You saved her from this cruel society.

Anirudh: Aren't you shocked of this? Will you complaint me to the management?

Manyavar: No dude! Why should I do that? I can't hurt you and my sister.

Anirudh: Your sister?

Manyavar: Hn, Bondita is my sister.

Anirudh: When did she became your sister?

He asked with a smile.

Manyavar: Oh Dude, come on! If she is your wife then for me she is sister only na? Choti sister!

He smiled.

Anirudh: She hates to be called as "Choti". She is small but very strong. Her courage and kindness can't be matched by any other girls. Her questions are always out of box!

He smiled thinking of her arguments.

Manyavar: Arey, arey dekho, you said she is your responsibility only but now why you cheeks are turning red?

Anirudh: Turning red?! No chance.

Manyavar: Really? Then look at the mirror.

He looks at mirror and blushed but hides it.

Manyavar: See, you are blushing.

Anirudh: No, I am not.

Manyavar: Yes you are!

Anirudh: No!

Manyavar: Yes!

Anirudh: Arey enough, let's go to lunch now.

He drags him outside.

Manyavar: Don't change the topic.

Anirudh: Shut up and come on!

They two went to dining hall all the way laughing. 

~In Dining Hall~

They stood in line. Some of the British boys bullied them.

They asked them to stand at the end of line.

Anirudh: Actually we came earlier then why should we stand in last?

Harry(british boy): How dare you to question us like this? You slave dog.

Anirudh gets angry but Manyavar controls him.

Harry and his gang pushed them back. Anirudh stared at them angrily.

At last they got some food to eat and sat on a bench.

Anirudh: Why did you controlled me, Manyavar? How dare he can speak like that?

Manyavar: Anirudh, calm down. This is our first day. Not even our classes started. Why to drag unwanted problems?

Anirudh: But...

Manyavar: We are going to be here only na for next 3 years let's teach them a lesson soon but not now.

Anirudh stares at them. They all laughed.

Manyavar: What kind a food is this? God! Bread, jam, vegetable salad and lime salad for lunch? I hate this.

Anirudh took a piece of bread to his mouth but stopped.

Anirudh thinks: Did she ate? What will be Kaka, Batuk, Somnath and Bihari doing.

His eyes become moist. Manyavar notices it. He touched his shoulder.

Manyavar: Are you worrying about your family?

He nods.

Manyavar: Don't worry, they will be alright. Now eat it.

He tasted the bread, it was so hard.

He thinks of Bondita making soft rotis, luchis.

Manyavar: Dude, you want more?

Anirudh: Na, can't even eat this. This is so hard.

Manyavar: How about your wife's cooking?

Anirudh: Sssh! Don't speak louder about her.

Manyavar repeated the same question in husky voice.

Anirudh laughed.

Manyavar: Will she cook properly?

Anirudh: Hn, her foods will be tastier than any other thing.

Manyavar: Because she does it with love. But here! Here na, they just cook it for sake.

Anirudh smiled. They continues to eat.
