Anirudh sleeps in hall while Bondita is sleeping in room actually she feels difficulty in sleeping as it is a new place for her.

She rolls here and there on the bed.

Bondita: Uh oh, Bondita. Sleep or else you will look tired tomorrow.

She murmurs to herself. She rose up and sat on the bed with her tiny hands on the cheeks.

Bondita: I could not sleep here. In my house lavanya akka used to be with me but now no one is here. I feel alone here.

She looks around the room from being on the bed.

Bondita: Sakha babu left me alone here. Now I want to drink water. Where will I go?

She gets down from the bed, covers herself with blanket and walks out.

~In Hall~

Bondita: Look, how sakha babu is sleeping well without worrying about me. In every house husband cares his wife a lot but here. At First day itself he told me that we can't be husband and wife. Atleast he should take care of me right?

She blows her face and walks by. Anirudh at first gets disturbed by her anklet sound but sleeps again.

~In kitchen~

Bondita steps in and looks around.

Bondita: In this house beside the hall and rooms kitchen is very big.

She took a glass and tries to fetch the water from the pot which is kept on the table.

Bondita: Oh Kadavule, I don't know why in every house they keep the pot over the table. How will small kids like fetch water in emergency?

She tries hard to fetch it but as usual the pot fell down and broke.

Bondita is scared. As it is a mud pot only Anirudh could hear the sound others are in their room.

Anirudh: Durga ma, what sound is that?

He looks at the clock it is 2 am. He rose up and walks slowly towards the kitchen.

~In kitchen~

Bondita: Pochi, pochi Bondita you are going to get nicely from your inlaws on first day itself.

She stands like a statue. Anirudh comes there.

Anirudh: Bondita?!

Bondita fears. He looks at the broken pot.

Bondita: I am really sorry sakha babu, I have not done this intentionally.

Anirudh: You could have called me na? Okay leave it, why you are awake still?

Bondita: What to do sakha babu. I tried in lots of way but i couldn't sleep.

Anirudh: Why? Are you not comfortable with that bed? But I asked you earlier itself you said you are okay with that bed.

Bondita: Ila ila, bed is not the problem.

Anirudh: Then?

Bondita: I feel alone in my room. I am scared to sleep alone. In my house Lavanya akka used to be with me but here no one is with me.

Anirudh worries on hearing it.

Bondita: I thought of waking up but you told me already we can't sleep in one room. That's why I didn't disturbed you, Sakha Babu.

Anirudh looks at her silently.

Bondita: It's okay, this is my first day right I will try to adopt soon. My amma taught me to adopt in new places.

She walks out. Anirudh takes a cloth and cleans the splashed out water.

Anirudh thinks: What she feels for is absolutely right. She is a child. Suddenly how could she change herself and will adopt to new atmosphere?

He worries.

~In room~

Bondita is sitting sadly by thinking of her family.

Anirudh comes there with a glass of water.

Anirudh: You went to kitchen to drink water only na then why you didn't drink it?

Bondita: How will I drink it sakha babu? I wasted all the water by breaking the pot.

Anirudh: Bondita, you missed to notice another pot which is kept on the floor. We kept it down for Batuk. You can take water from it here after if you want.

Bondita gets the water and drinks it in single gulp. It seem like she is very thirsty.

Bondita: Here water is of different taste Sakha Babu.

Anirudh: Hn, it changes with location. Now go sleep.

Bondita nods no.

Anirudh: Why? Your Amma didn't taught you to go to bed earlier hn? Already it's 2 am and you are still awake.

Bondita: Will you scold me if i ask you something?

Anirudh: Have i ever scold you?

Bondita nods no.

Anirudh: Then what?

Bondita: Actually sakha babu...

Anirudh looks on.

Bondita: You filled my hairline with kumkum, you tied this mangalsutra to me. We both came around the fire 7 times with 7 promise.

Anirudh guessed her question.

Bondita: We have done all the rituals of marriage but why you are saying that we can't be husband and wife?

Anirudh thinks: How will I explain you Bondita? You are not in the age of understanding it and I am not in the situation of explaining you about it.

Bondita: Tell me please. Did someone compelled you to marry me?

Anirudh: Enough Bondita, go and sleep. Let's talk in morning.

Bondita: In morning will you tell me about it?

Anirudh: Bondita, please. You ask whatever you want and I am ready to give but don't ask about this. Please.

Bondita worries.

Anirudh: We two are happy being as friends right? Then why must we need another relationship between us?

Bondita: Seri, I will not ask about this anymore.

Anirudh gave a fake smile.

Bondita: Will you give whatever I ask for?

Anirudh: Hn, except the answers about this marriage.

Bondita: I... Actually... I...

Anirudh: Tell me completely, 'I' what?

Bondita: I am very hungry Sakha Babu.

Anirudh: What?

Bondita: I haven't ate anything from yesterday night. Aachima asked me to be in fasting. From yesterday night to today night I haven't ate anything. I think i will sleep properly if something enters my tiny stomach.

Anirudh smiled.

Bondita: Why you are smiling? Your smile can't help me in getting rid off my hunger.

Anirudh: Theek hain, theek hain. Come with me.

He took her to the kitchen.

~In kitchen~

Bondita: Are you going to cook in this time? But before you complete cooking it will be morning.

Anirudh: Arey, I can't cook at this time. Wait let me check whether there is something to eat.

He checks the shelves for snacks but nothing is there.

Bondita: If there is nothing then leave it sakha babu. I will adjust somehow.

Anirudh thinks on.

Bondita was about to walk out.

Anirudh: Wait, Bondita. I have got an idea. Come with me.

He walks to Batuk's room, Bondita followed him.

~In Batuk room~

Batuk and Somnath are sleeping. Anirudh walks in slowly.

Bondita whispers: What you are going to do sakha babu?

Anirudh whispers: Batuk may have snacks in his cupboard  for sure.

Bondita whispers: Are you going to steal it? We must not steal others things Sakha Babu. It's a crime, my amma said this.

Anirudh: Arey yaar, if you don't want then go and sleep with hungry stomach.

He walks but Bondita stops him but holding his hand.

Bondita: We can steal today only. I will tell god not to punish us today.

Anirudh nodded and walked in while Bondita waits outside. He slowly approached the cupboard but accidently hits Batuk's leg.

Bondita: Achacho!

She hides behind the door. Anirudh hides beside the cupboard. Batuk rose up and looks here and there.
