So I got my schedule which said:

Maths
Science

Break

Training
Training

Lunch

Magics
Sport

So not to bad and I had the exact same classes as Katelyn even the science and maths but the boys didn't have the same first two lessons and I went to say goodbye.
"Bye guys, can't wait to beat your asses in training." I said smiling at them.
"Aww are you sure you will survive the morning without us?" Jace says grinning.
I give him my best death glare and he mocks hurt which make me laugh and I turn away hearing Jamie say"they grow up so fast." Which leads to a n energy ball to hit him in the back. "Ouch!" I heard him say and some other guys snickering.
He turns round and I sprint over to Katelyn. We walk arm in arm to the next class. Maths and science were pretty cool and I finished first out of all the eighteen year olds. Yes my brain is pretty weird and I did enjoy the looks on all of the older kids faces. One of them looked really confused and I offered to help. Instead of getting pissed off at me he actually smiled."yeh could you help me with question twenty, I don't get it." He says.
"Oh sure." I say and start to explain it to him. Somehow I notice a badge saying head boy and fire starter. So he's his generations fire element. Eventually I stopped explaining and he nodded along"ok cool and by the way my names Evan."and he extended his hand
"Cassie." I said shaking his hand.
"Yeah kind of got it earlier today, loved your speech and especially the death glare at Richelle." He says grinning.
"Oh man you saw that I was kind of hoping to not make it to obvious." I said blushing red. He laughs at that.
"Hey you and your friends should come round sometime for a party." He said." We are having one tomorrow if you want to bring a friend?" He said.
"Yeah sounds fun see you soon." I said walking off to Katelyn as the lesson finished.
"I just go us invites to a party tomorrow hope you don't have plans." I said slipping my arm into hers.
"Man I've only known you for like two hours and we are already best friends, well played." She said smiling.
"I'm just that good." I replied.
"Ok let's go to science and talk about what you are going to wear." And like that I felt at home there. man that was gonna change.

*time skip to break*

Eventually science finished and I literally ran out of class dragging Katelyn with me and running to the boys.
They were surrounded by some friends who stopped to stare at us. Then did I really notice how pretty Katelyn was with her deep grey eyes and long lashes we both attracted quite a lot of stares. One of them slid his hand over my shoulder and Jace growled, well at least I think he did. "Dude she's not for show."  He said protectively. Man it was sweet of him but I didn't need his protection so I stopped him. "It's fine Jace I can take care of myself." And with that he shut up but gave me a pained look. Ah that was going to change. Next I took the guys arm that had slid around my shoulder putting my hands on his wrist and forearm flipping him into the air and landing with a thud. He groaned" and like I said I don't need anyone's protection."
"Jesus you are full of surprises." Jamie said smiling.
"Ha I took a few self defence classes but that's it." I said grinning.
"Yep never gonna piss you off" Laurance said laughing.
Jace grinned at me. "So if I put my arm around your shoulder would you flip me over?" He asked mischievously.
"Maybe... Maybe not." I said grinning back as we stood in the playground. I looked over to see Katelyn holding a boys hand. The boy was around 5'11 with dark eyes and hair.
"Oh yeh that's Jeforey." Jace said as I introduced myself."Cassidy, but you can call me Cassie." I told him.
"Cool, now I think all grade nines have training so where is it?" I asked.
"Oh there." Jefforey said and pointed to the building.
It was the arena. The huge dome with a glass roof. Well at least I thought it was glass but as we got nearer I saw that it was electricity. Dancing purple lighting bolts knitting together to form a barrier. The energy coming off it was so intense that I just closed my eyes feeling the electricity call to me. Someone tapped my shoulder and Jace was shaking me as I saw my skin faintly changing form. "Shit." I said. Quickly calming down so that my skin would go back to normal.
"Wait what just happened to you?" Katelyn asked curiously.
"Umm uhh catch me if you can?" I said darting away as fast as I could. No way was I going to have this conversation now  when I had no idea myself. but before I could get away I felt a strong force pull me back. Katelyns telekinesis was so strong and my average power couldn't fight easily against it. I fought against it sprinting full throttle and slowly I managed to break free, utterly exhausted. My friends approached me all of them laughing."you win." I said breathing heavily.
"I always do." Katelyn said and with that we continued to walk there entering through a massive door way. The building had become quite busy and as soon as all of us were here the instructor ordered us to get changed in the changing rooms. Of course there's one for girls and another for boys. In the changing room I noticed Richelle being surrounded by her friends all of them wearing the smallest shorts I've ever seen and sports bras that barely covered anything. "Jesus." I whispered to Katelyn.
"Dressing like that they might as well go naked."
Katelyn laughed at that and some turned to stare but that didn't matter. I was dressed in black sports legging that came to my ankles and a low down sports bra which was purple. katelyn was wearing the same thing except with a blue sports bra. "Ready?" She said.
"Ready." I confirmed and we walked out together wondering what we might face.
