The entire place was ablaze. The bonfire had spread and students were screaming running away. But that wasn't the worst thing. There I saw hundreds of demons, werewolves and other creatures attacking everyone. Some fought back but most were defenceless. All my friends joined me as we stared at it. "Ok we've got to help." I said to them and they all agreed. "I'll attack the left with cadenza, Jeffory, Katelyn and Jace, you guys take the right!" I yelled at them and we immediately went onto dry land pulling in our clothes. I readied myself, feeling the adrenaline pour through me powering myself. Energy flooded my veins and I felt my true form come. Electricity sparked from me and I let loose charging straight into battle without a second thought.
Werewolves and demons attacked, flinging themselves at me. I fired back punching and flinging energy balls at them. I took down ten at once with an electric rod. Around me people were fleeing except for a few elementals and my friends. Katelyn was sending demons against the walls crushing them with force. Jeffrey was an earthquake user and was splitting the ground sending werewolves into the bottomless pit. Cadenza flew above us carrying a beautiful bow which seemed to have been made of reeds and flowers. She created vines that trapped the Demons letting me kill them.
We were winning. Striking down nearly all of them when suddenly he appeared. Red fiery eyes and skin, he was here. The demons king cackled at us freezing us all in place with the wave of his hand. He made all of the demons and werewolves disappear along with everyone except for my friends. Mentally I was screaming for me to move, to attack him. He placed us all together so that Jace, Jamie, Laurance, cadenza, Jeffory, Katelyn and Lucinda were all there with me."it's so nice to see you all again." He began smiling at us. Suddenly I felt the powerful hold on me loosen and I gave out a gasp falling to my knees. "You are a bastard." I said swearing at him. "Tsk, tsk feisty little thing aren't you." He said picking me up by my chin, so that my feet were off the floor. He was at least 6'6 and towered over me. "Get off her." I heard Jace yell struggling against his hold. "Well if it isn't lover boy and all you're friends." The demon king said releasing his hold on all of them so that they all sunk to the floor. "Now Cassidy I'm going to kill you and all your friends, you have become to much of a threat to me and I can't kill you in your dream dimension but this not a dream." He said cackling.
Immediately I felt the horrible pain of every cell in my body being ripped apart. The agonising feeling of electricity coursing through my veins. He was electrocuting me so that my body sizzled. "Stop it." I heard Katelyn yell.
"Leave her alone." My friends yelled at him.
"Get off her." I heard Jace growl as he stood up running towards me. "Take one more step and I fry her completely." The demon king said. Jace stopped scared of what might happen.
Suddenly I felt my mind go blank k as I recalled every nightmare I'd ever had. The worst experience of my life. The day my brother died. His lifeless body and cold face. I saw myself little five year old me clinging to him. He was only three and oh so young. I was crying trying to wake him up but I knew the inevitable had happened. My poor baby brother. Slowly the memory fades but the pain still remains and I feel a massive hole in my heart that I've tried so hard to cover up.
"Ha I remember that day, the day I killed your brother." He said.
Slowly I processed what he just said. Wait he killed him? No now I remembered a face In the mirror as I held my brother two bright red eyes bearing into my soul. No no no. "You see ever since your ancestor and founder of this school Meredith developed the same powers you have I've been killing your family off. Making sure that no one will ever pose a threat to me again. I should have killed you when you were little but by the time I tried you'd become to strong. But I had the chance with your little brother." He sisd laughing maniacally.
The pain has stopped now and my friends stood back as I started to flash brightly, my white and black form sparking erratically as anger swelled inside of me. He took my family. He killed my brother. And now it was time for him to pay.
Suddenly I felt all of my energy swell up in me all at once and I let it all out causing a massive blinding bright light and explosions as lighting and energy swirled around the area hitting the demon king all at once. Slowly I watched him disappear grinning at me and saying only four words."I'm coming for you." Then I collapsed out of sheer exhaustion and pain. Slowly the darkness consumed me as my friends rushed forward.
