Slowly I woke up and I felt my entire body ache. I realised where I was, back at my dorm with the boys crowding around me. "Hey she's awake." Jamie yelled and I winced at the loud noise. "Hey dingus shut up she's still weak." Laurance says coming over. "What the hell happened?" I asked worried.
"Hey it's fine, don't worry, I carried you back after the incident with the demon and werewolf." Jace says appearing in the doorway, looking completely cool as if the event wasn't shocking.
"I can't believe you guys nearly got killed because you were to distracted making out!" Jamie said smirking.
Immediately I start to blush my cheeks turning red and we both start stammering. "No way." He says.
"That's just... Ugh I can't even say anything." I say shuddering.
"Oh right well you two love birds can't deny your feelings." Jamie said laughing which led to a fireball aiming for his face which he easily dodged and me tipping water on his head.
"Now that's using the power of water." I said smirking at him being completely drenched.
Jace and Laurance are laughing hysterically whilst Jamie walks back to his room sulking.
"Hey did you tell anyone About  the event...?" I asked Jace.
He shook his head. "Only the headmistress but she said she's rather keep it quiet but will put the eighteens year olds on guard duty."
"Ok well I'm going to get some sleep it's the first day tomorrow." Jace said heading to his room.
"What!?" I yelled so loudly that Valhalla could probably hear it. "It's school tomorrow?"
Both of the boys laughed and even Jamie was laughing from his room. "Yeah you dingus." Laurance says laughing.
Now I decide to show him my extensive powers and slowly I concentrate on the glass of water in his hands making the glass rise quickly and tip on his head without him noticing.
"What the?! Cassie!" He yells and I sprint it my room as a pillow and water orb come whizzing past my head. Now I'm the one laughing as I think about today. But my thoughts turn dark as I start to think about the encounter with the demon and werewolf. My aunt had said something briefly about lack of students and only 300 students from thirteen to eighteen were coming back due to some turning  and others leaving because of safety issues.
Quickly I had a shower washing my hair and pulling on some pyjamas and brushing my teeth. Then I literally nodded off a soon as my head hit the pillow. And then came the worst nightmare in my entire life.

"Stop it!" I screamed."leave them alone." I yelled as I watched my entire family, Laurance, Jamie and Jace standing there spazzing out as the demon tortured  them. "Leave them alone!" I yell again.
"Or what?" He asks smiling at me with his red eyes and skin he looks like he's on fire. "I'm the demon king my child and you may be all powerful in the eyes of the purples but you are untrained and I've been fighting for millenniums." He says laughing."now watch as I kill you're friends and family." He says moving towards my mum.
Now I don't know what take control but my entire body lights up turning into my true form of black and white. Energy lights it up and I hear flapping as I turn around to see a beautiful pair of wings. Like an angels and a butterfly's mixed together. They glow shimmering with electricity. I launch myself in front of him lighting his body up with my lighting and energy. He howls and flinches back but slowly regains his composer. "Ah you're true form, my you are beautiful in this form and you're mundane one. Tell you what I'll exchange you for all of them?" He says.
Immediately I answer. It will always be them that comes first "Yes but let them go first." I say, no way was I going to let him harm my friends and family.
He nods and releases his hold on them and all of them fall to their knees and my family are transported away. "Don't worry they are back at their home this entire even will be like a nightmare to them but for you its all to real."
I rush to the boys sides and only Jace is conscious and he immediately grabs me pulling me into a hug and the others finally resurface. "You can't, he'll kill you lets us do it." Jace says angrily.
"Wait you can't, we'll go back to being tortured it'll be fine." Jamie says trying to convince me not to do it.
But my  minds already set and I get up wrestling away from Jace. He begs me not to but I look at him sadly.
"Ok I'm ready." I say.
"Good." The demon king says turning me around so that I face the boys. I don't make eye contact. "I shall enjoy killing you nice and slowly." He says and then the worst pain in my life begins.
The awakening was like a pin prick compared to this. It was like every inch of my body being pulled apart and then someone running my head over. I try not to scream but soon I can't stop myself and I'm screeching so loud that I see glass break. I force myself to look down at the boys to say goodbye. Currently Laurance and Jamie are holding Jace back from running to the demon king, by the arms. He looks so angry his body is a light and heat radiates from him. He's screaming at me and at him, telling him to stop to take him instead but the Demon king just ignored him and continues electrocuting me. Until he stops and my body slumps to the ground. I'm surprised that I'm still breathing why am I not dead? "Hmm actually I think I'm going to kill them first and make you watch." He says walking over to them. He picks Jace up first holding him by the neck cuff. "Starting with lover boy here." He says cackling and pulls out a sword.
"No!" I scream launching myself at the demon king. ." Duck!" I screamed hitting the demon king. We collided and it became a match to the death. Both us at our strongest form, him completely engulfed in flames and I in darkness. We fought, firing at each other sending, hitting each other as hard as we could. Somehow I manage to knock him down and make a break for it towards the boys. Slowly I turn into my normal form back to being Cassie and Jace grabs my hand as we reach a bottomless pit. The entire area I noticed is a red desert with a black empty pit which seemed to go on forever "We have to jump." I say somehow knowing that this was our way out.
"Are you crazy?" Jamie screams.
"Yes, now trust me." I say pushing them all in and jumping down with them. We fall into the darkness and the last thing I hear is the demon kings voice. Cackling.
