The Next day I woke up to find Jace lying next to me. Immediately I panic and end up falling into the floor. "Ow." I groan as Jace wakes up laughing down at me. "Haha." I say sarcastically."now help me up." I order and he grabs my hand pulling me up. Suddenly the memories of last night came back to me. "Last night wasn't a dream." I stated mournfully. Cadenza was dead and no matter what anyone said it was my fault. "Hey we are gonna get through this as a group." Jace said pulling me into a hug. I nuzzle into his chest and we slowly break apart and head into the living room. There lies Laurance looking cold and Jamie hugging Lucinda. "hey guys."I said quietly and sat on the floor, still in my jogging shorts and jumper from yesterday. We'd all taken off our armour as we came in.
"Hey." Laurance said.
"Hi guys." Jamie said holding Lucinda. Lucinda started to tear up and I immediately hugged her both of us crying together. Next thing I know Lucinda and I are being lifted off the ground by the boys who are hugging us to. So we are all standing there hugging each other. "Hum." I coughed but nothing happened."guys I need the loo." I said and immediately Jace put me down so I darted back to my bedroom. Today was a Saturday and I got ready. I was sad deep down inside and guilty but I couldn't let these feelings hurt me instead they need to fuel me. Fuel my anger for the demon king. I quickly took a shower, washing my hair and drying it out. It hung in messy curls which I just left. Then I tossed on a pair of black ripped shorts, blue crop top and denim jacket. I didn't bother with makeup. Today was going to be a day if tears and anger. When I got back in the living room I saw all my friends here. Katelyn and Jeffory were lying next to each other in the sofa whilst Lucinda and the boys were strewn around the living room. "Hey I think we should stay in today." I told them all and they all agreed. "How about a movie marathon?" Laurance suggested.
"Sounds fun." Katelyn said and I went to turn on the television. Netflix came on and I handed the others the remote. "Hey Lucinda do you want to change?" I asked her as she was still in her sweaty clothes from yesterday.
"Yeah." She said and we headed into my room. Quickly she showered and I gave her a flowery dress which complemented her curves and made her emerald eyes stand out. We headed back in and Jamie's mouth hung open. Geez the dude so liked her. Why doesn't he ask her out?, I'm so going to ask him about her later. Lucinda blushed at Jamie and sat down next to him. "Hey lucinda do you want to go for a walk?" Jamie asked her and she nodded blushing. They both left so it was just us five until the other three went out to find out what was happening about cadenzas funeral leaving me alone with Jace. We both sat there not really watching the tv. Instead he pulled me up onto the sofa and I nuzzled into him. He smelt like cinnamon and nutmeg. Hmmm. I sighed quietly with relief. We sat there Jace pulling me close to him is that he was cocooning my body and eventually I felt my eyelids go heavy with exhaustion. All of the events over the par weeks had tired me out and I needed rest.
