"Ayah.!" I scream as I come out of the other side of the whirlpool and landed in an office. The room is quite big with one window, a desk and four chairs. Which three happened to be sat in by some very confused looking boys as inland on the floor a metre away. "Who the hell are you?" One of them asks. He has brown shaggy hair and green eyes which pierce mine. "Funny I could ask you the same." I retort angrily. One of the other guys snickers and the rude one punches him in the arm. The guy that got punched had light hair and blue eyes just like Noah and the last guy had black hair with cold grey eyes. I could see that the rude one was about to make a snarky comment when suddenly my aunt jumps out in front of me which makes me yell and the rude one smirks. "Ah I see you have already met Jace, Laurance and Jamie. Indicating to each of them so that the rude boy is Jace, the blond was Jamie and the one with jet black hair was Laurance
"Hello I'm Cassidy but you can call me Cassie." I say smiling.
"She is my niece and will be starting this semester and due to her special powers she will be staying with the elementals so she will be staying with you." She said and suddenly the boys erupted. Inside my head so did I. She can't make me stay with a bunch of teenage boys. My parents would have a fit and Noah. Oh god I don't even want to think about that.
"Wait she can't stay with us." Laurance yelled angrily.
"I agree no way am I getting babysat by her." Jamie said shocked.
"You have to be kidding." Jace said
"Silence!" My aunt yelled slamming her fist down. They all flinched and became quiet.
"Now demonstrate your powers to Cassie please so that she will understand what I'm saying." She said.
Powers? I thought now I'm definitely dreaming.
"Ok I'm the fire element" Jace said whipping out a fire ball from his fist which he aims at me. I immediately dodge and shoot him an angry glare, which he smirks at.
"Ok I'm water." Laurance said taking the water from a glas on a table and whipping it into the air so that it hovered above us. "Woah..." I breathed.
"I know we are so cool." Jace says smirking.
I decided to ignore that. "So you must be air?" I ask Jamie. Suddenly a heavy silence fills the air and I wonder what was wrong about what I just said. "I'm going." Says Jace and he walks towards the door slamming it shut.
"What did I say?" I ask worried.
No one answers  and I get angry. "Someone answer me." I said angry.
"We should tell her if we will be staying with each other." Jamie says to the others.
"Ok, so there used to be four of us earth, wind, fire and water when one day Scarlia who was the wind element disappeared without a trace and she's been missing for two years. Jace and her were really close and he is still grieving." Laurance said.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I say saddened by this.
"It's alright you didn't know so I guess we should show you around, come on." Laurance said picking up my trunk and taking us around. "Bye." I say to my aunt.
"So which magic are you?" Jamie asks.
Wait I didn't know why didn't I know?
"I'm not sure..." I say confused slightly.
"Really well you must be powerful if your staying with us."
I laugh at that. "Not at all big headed." I say quietly but he still hears me and he makes the ground shake from underneath me so that I fall over. "Jerk." I mutter as both boys laugh and eventually Jamie offers me his hand and pulls me up. "Well this year we get to start training so you can work in your powers."
"What did you do last year?" I ask.
"Well last year is the freshmen year and you just learn about your culture and heritage but this year our powers have had their awakening. Everyone has their own awakening, for some it's painful and others the happiest moment of your life. The more powerful your magic the stronger the awakening."n
"Do you remember yours?" Laurance asks.
Wait I thought back to the moment at my house and in the ambulance. I shudder at the thought of the excruciating pain.
"Yes I do, it was the worst experience of my life, the worst pain possible." I say darkly.
They both look at each other nervously. "Cassie when we awakened it was the best feeling of our lives only those who are extremely powerful get a painful awakening and there hasn't be one of those here in over a century.
"You're joking well I don't even no what my power is how can I be all powerful when I just found about this world today." I say exasperated.
"Hey calm down we are in the same position as you we cant completely control out powers and we are all getting training this year, now let us show you around."
