Neil's gaze got fixed on avni not caring about the audience who were looking at him but two pairs of eyes noticed the particular path of his gaze. One was juhi. She looked at neil then at avni, her mind started recalling the day when Neil's behaviour seemed different. She understood the matter now and smiled softly. While the other one frowned watching neil lost in someone. HE leaned forward and followed Neil's gaze. His eyes landed on avni who had been sitting parallel to his seat. A thought came to his mind and he smirked calculating everything. Neil's  bubble of trance broke and he started speaking for which he had came for.

Neil: today we have no class

But someone interrupted him in middle and he very well knew who it could be.

Boy: see the great president of our reputed college has come to say this, everybody clap please

Laughter echoed in the whole class hearing his sarcastic remarks. Neil clenched his jaw and looked at the person who was smirking at him. Everyone knew in the whole college neil and he could never get along.

Arhan shah is the only person neil hate to the core. Both had been involved in some serious fight from the day they met and the reason behind it only they knew. For arhan neil is his biggest competitor but Neil always tried to avoid him. He didn't know what he had done so far that arhan always irritate him by his presence. ( imagine zaan Khan as Arhan shah )

Arhan laughed looking at his pissed off face and went near him. Avni looked at arhan then at neil. She could easily say how annoyed Neil looked. He placed his hand on Neil's shoulder and smiled with mischief.

Arhan: tu peon kab se ban gaya? Padhayi chod di? Yaar mujhe bohot bura lag raha hai tere liye seriously man.

Neil jerked away his hand and glared at him.

Neil: you know what talking with you is meaningless, move away. I ain't useless like you.

This time ali and dd laughed looking at arhan. He clenched his jaw and grabbed Neil's collar shooting daggers at him while others shook their head watching their fight to the nth time. It had become a routine now.

Arhan: if I am useless then I know how much usable you are Neil Khanna

He smirked. Neil pushed him away gritting his teeth and set his collar.

Juhi: ( to vidhyut ) ye dono phir suru ho gaye

Vidhyut: seriously especially this arhan, don't know why he always creates drama

Juhi: true

Avni only looked on uninterested and just wanted to get away from there.

Neil: ( to arhan ) if you're done now can I speak? He went from there pushing away neil from his way. ( Neil closed his eyes for a moment then opened facing everyone ) so I was saying we have no class today because freshers party is gonna arrange for freshers and we have to do preparations so if anyone wants to do something regarding the event you can join us in auditorium.

He glanced at avni before leaving and went from there with ali and dd. Juhi squealed in happiness and vidhyut smiled looking at her.

Juhi: wow let's go to auditorium.

Vidhyut nodded but avni denied.

Juhi: but why Ananya it will be fun. No I don't want to listen anything you have to come.

Vidhyut: yeah let's go

Juhi dragged avni with her and vidhyut while avni wasn't ready. She wanted to be with riya so that she could get some information about aman but here juhi didn't let her go. They reached auditorium. Neil and his gang were already present there. He smiled looking at avni while she was busy in taking the tour of auditorium. Later they all sat together to discuss about the event.

Avni's pov:

I should not have come today in the first place. Total time waste it had been. I couldn't get the chance to be with riya also. No worries I will definitely not leave the chance tomorrow and this neil, what he thinks of himself. Idiot. I was going towards the parking lot to take my car when suddenly someone called my name. I turned around and saw him. What was his name yeah arhan, juhi told me about him. He came near me smiling constantly. I only stood silent not knowing why he is here.

" Ananya right? I have heard a lot about you. Nice to meet you " he said at last forwarding his hand. I looked up at him then at his hand and hesitantly placed my hand on his for a handshake.

I noticed his smirk and quickly withdrew my hand slightly moving away from him.

" well we are classmates now so why not becoming friends? " he said with a smile. Why he is here first of all? I remembered his cold war with neil. Is he harmful to me? Should I accept his friendship? I was totally lost forgetting he was there. He snapped me out from my thoughts and grinned raising his brows.

I only nodded. He in return smiled widely and again offered his hand. Well I have no objection until he is nice to me. I placed my hand on his this time smiling genuinely. He shook my hand vigorously making me laugh and went from there tapping my cheek.

When he was far I noticed him looking at someone and that someone was neil. He looked angry don't know why. He was few steps away and was coming towards me when arhan went. I quickly get inside my car and drove from there not wanting to meet him.

Later on I reached home. Maa was already ready with my favourite dishes and I just pounced on it like a hungry lioness. I heard ma chuckled and I joined her.

Avni's pov ends.

Neela: so how was your day?

Avni: not at all good. It was totally wasted day. Our lectures got cancelled due to the event and I also didn't get the chance to speak with riya.

Neela: it's okay baccha. College mai toh yeh sab hota rehta hai. You should enjoy the moments with your friends rather than thinking about riya, revenge and all.

Avni: anyway what about aman? Did you find something else about him?

Neela: not much. He is always surrounded by bodyguards. I have talked with your 123 gang. They will find themselves, you don't worry.

Avni nodded and stood up to wash her hands. Neela smiled thinking about something.

Neela: waise was that neil who had come to pick you up in the morning?

Avni choked badly while drinking water. She looked at her mother with wide opened eyes thinking how did her mother get to know. Avni avoided looking at her mother and turned away and neela smirked.

Avni: ko kon? I I don't know what you are talking about?

Neela: accha itni jaldi bhul gayi? Ruko abhi yaad dilati hu.

Neela ran after her and avni giggled running away from her to save herself. At last neela grabbed avni and started ticking her. Both mother daughter duo forgot everything and spent whole day having fun together.
