She fisted her hand and continued stepping to his direction staring at him more precisely glaring at him. While he only grinned looking at her. Her step halted near him.

Neil: what? Come sit

Avni: are you by any chance my personal driver? No right

Neil: but I wouldn't mind being one

He winked which irked her more. She stomped her feet and continued walking ignoring him. Neil widened his eyes and drove the bike following her.

Neil: arey yaar sit na, we are getting late.

Avni: so you go I will be there by my own

Neil: stubborn baby

Avni: hey don't call me that

Neil: what

Avni: that ba baby

She stammered feeling awkward and he chuckled shaking his head.

Neil: okay then do as I say otherwise I will call you baby in college in front of everyone

Avni: you won't

Neil: oh I will don't test me baby

Avni: ugh

Having no option she climbed back behind him with irritated face. He looked at her through mirror and chuckled wearing his helmet.

Neil: suno apna mood thik karo

Avni: I ain't gonna be your submissive

Neil: isn't it too much

Avni: what

Neil: submissive like seriously?

Avni: I know boys like you, you only want to get one thing and that is to play with other's heart. You don't see emotions or feelings. First possess the girl by telling lies and when it comes to take stand your all promises and assurance vanish in thin air leaving her with only broken heart and devastated soul.

She ended up pouring the tale of her life leaving him shocked beyond words. His breath got stuck hearing her indigestible words and glanced at her through mirror. Now knowing her had become so important for his life. Why she doesn't want to believe a man? Will she never trust him? This is the image he has made of himself in her mind? Why she said that? Did she went through the same? Did someone cheat on her? These were the only questions roaming in his mind but the answer could only get from her but she wouldn't let anyone know her so easily he knew.

He started the bike and drove to the college. The ride was silent and unusually long. She had thought he would not leave any chance to irritate her but he was silent making her relieved but at the same time scared because she blurted out without thinking anything. She glanced at him secretly through mirror and found him busy in boring his eyes to the road. Shaking her thoughts away she turned her face not thinking much and just gave in gazing the nature's beauty.

After sometime they reached college and neil parked the bike. They both got down. Avni was about to go but neil pulled her suddenly taking her off guard. Her breath hitched by his stunt and glared at him trying to free her hand from his grip but it only made it stronger than before.

Neil: listen to me very carefully, I ain't that what you think. I know how to respect other's feelings and emotions. I know what it cost to the one who had lost their faith to the wrong person but the question is why did you count me in that list? Do I look like a cheap to you? If one person has destroyed your life doesn't mean all man would be the same. For me love is the most

She pushed him with a force that he stumbled back two feet away. The rage in her eyes that he saw was something he hadn't knew she had within her.

Avni: don't

Showing her finger at him while he only stared at her with shock.

Avni: don't cross your limits.

She turned away and stomped off to her class. In between she bumped into ali who had held her on time and smiled at her.

Ali: good you show up I was looking for you

Avni: why?

Ali: here the key of your car. Its parked in parking lot.

Avni: thank you so much ali for your help

Ali: no sorry and thank you in friendship buddy

She smiled softly recalling the moments with her childhood best friend ali. He used to say the same. How could it be possible? Why she had a feeling of him being ali her best friend? she thought.

Ali was also debating in the battle of his mind and heart. Their thoughts halted by neil. He came there running and looked at avni. Gritting her teeth she went from there leaving them both behind.

Neil looked at her retreating figure and turned to ali after she disappeared from his sight and found him doing the same. Neil glared at him and smacked his head.

Neil: she is mine

Ali: did she confess?

Neil shook his head and looked away and ali chuckled. They both went to their classroom and dd joined them afterwards.

Avni stepped inside the classroom and roamed her eyes trying to find a space to sit. Riya looked at her and mouthed her sorry for not reserving the seat for her. Avni just smiled and began to look at other side.

Her gaze fell on juhi who was calling her name.She signalled avni to come and avni went near her. The classroom was full packed. Some were gossiping and some boys were ogling at avni as she walked passing by them.

Avni smiled saying thanks and took seat beside juhi.

Juhi: hey

Avni: hii thank you for letting me sit here

Juhi: oh come on that's okay. He is vidhyut btw my friend

She said pointing at vidhyut who was sitting behind juhi. He smiled and waved his hand at avni.

Vidhyut: hi

Avni: hello

Trio got busy in talking and at the same time neil and his gang came there. His eyes got stuck on avni while she looked away.
