Chapter Two: Destruction

Third Person POV

Genna watched closely as the battle grew on. Another building close to her, collapsed. She coughed then looked up. She could now see who was attacking. It was a man with shiny dark red hair, popping forest green eyes, a round face, and a medium skintone. He wore a gray trench coat,  over a white T-shirt, with jeans, and black boots. He laughed turning to read something out of a book. "VERNIETIGEN!" He yelled, his voice gruff. Genna crept closer, curious to see what he was doing. 

"Where are you going?" Lilyanna asked. Genna ignored her and continued heading towards everyone. She was now within earshot. 

"What is he saying?" Destiny asked. 

"He's speaking in Dutch," Zane stated. 

"Can you translate what he's saying?" Nya asked. 

"I can try." A building to Genna's left collapsed. The battle continued. Kai lite his hand on fire then shot it at the man. 

"Geef me de kracht om myself beschermen!" A purple holographic image of a shield appeared in front of the man. The fire hit the shield and dissolved. 

"What did he say?" Dest asked. 

"Give me the strength to protect myself" Zane answered. Genna walked closer. She was now standing behind Jay. 

"What are you going to do next?" Genna asked. Jay jumped, then turned to face her. 

"I thought I asked you to stay in the pizzeria!" He exclaimed. Zoey and Lilyanna walked over to Genna's side. 

"In her defense the building did collapse..." Zoey stated. 

"Well on the bright side you're all alright," Dest acknowledged. 

"Hate to break up a touching moment but we're kinda in the middle of something..." Destiny remarked. 

"Right." Another building collapsed. 

"Laat mij de kracht om gebouwen te verplaatsen!!" 

"TAKE COVER!!!" Lloyd yelled. A building floated into the air and hovered over the area where they were standing. 

"Goodbye!" He marveled. The building dropped and Genna extended her hands. Time slowed to a stop. She would have to move quickly to get everyone out of the way. She began to move everyone away from the falling building. She was almost done when the building slowly started to move again. 

Genna extended her hands again and focused on the building. She moved slower this time, trying to make sure time didn't start up again. She moved everyone out of the way and time speed up. 

The building smashed into bits and pieces. "What just happened?" Destiny asked, her hair turning blue. Jay turned and smiled at Genna. She smiled, even though she was exhausted. 

"What are we going to do about that guy?" Lilyanna asked. 

"You're going to get out of here while we try to stop him from destroying the city..." Cole commanded. 

"We can take care of ourselves," Zoey remarked. 

"We not going to risk anyone getting injured..." Kai explained. 

"Seriously, we CAN take care of ourselves," Zoey stated. 

"Love to keep arguing but um, there's kinda a guy destroying the city right now," Lilyanna stated. The sound of an explosion filled their ears. 

"We've got to go!"
