A/N: Welcome to the third book in the A Shadow series. First off, I want to thank mysteryninjanight, insanemm, and SirDaSir for their OC's. Second off, I want to thank all of you guys for reading the first two books. I probably wouldn't have made it this far without you...So Thank you! Alright, let's get started. 

Third Person POV

Everyone waved goodbye to Stephanie and Justin. It was unsettling to see them leave, but they had to leave town. "Bye guys!" Stephanie waved, opening the door to the car. 

"Thanks for your help!" Dest thanked. The car took off and everyone walked inside the destroyed dojo. Jay's phone buzzed and he looked at it. 

"You guys want to go to Buddy's Pizza?" He asked.

Genna opened the doors to the ever-so familiar Buddy's Pizza place. It still looked the same. The red booths still lined the walls, while the tables were in the middle. Genna spotted the arcade that was behind the tables and booths. They still had some of the fun games that she played in her childhood... "Genna!" 

Genna turned her head towards where she heard her name. She saw two booths filled with people that she didn't know. She saw her brother in one of them. "Hi Jay!" She chimed, walking over to the two booths. 

"Guys this is Genna...My sister," Jay stated.  

"SISTER!?!?" Everyone exclaimed. 

"Yes. Genna this is Kai, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, Nya, Dest, and Destiny," Jay stated pointing to each person in the booths. 

"How come you've never told us you had a sister?" Cole asked. At least, Genna thought it was Cole that asked. 

"I thought I did tell you!" Jay exclaimed. 

"No you definitely didn't mention it before," Destiny remarked. 

"That's fine. He probably forgot. I was in Stiix for a while, and it's been a long time since I've visited," Genna stated. 

"I'm telling you, I didn't forget," Jay remarked. 

"Maybe you thought you told us when you were rambling," Kai added. 

"Yeah! See Thank you!" Jay stated. 

"I was being sarcastic." 

"oh." 

"Well it's nice meeting you," Dest acknowledged. 

"So what have you guys been up too?" Genna asked. Everyone exchanged looks with one another. 

"Well-" Jay was interrupted by several screams. Everyone's attention turned towards the doors. Several people ran by, terrified. Everyone left the booths and headed toward the doors. 

"Where are you going?" Genna asked. Jay ran back to her. 

"Just going to go check what's happening. Stay here..." 

"I can hel-" 

"Just stay here. Please," Jay left it at that and ran out the doors. 

Genna frowned. She knew she could help, but her brother wouldn't let her. "What do you think's happening?" Genna jumped at the disembodied voice that was talking to her. She looked to her left and saw a girl with long light blue hair. She wore a light blue tank top that matched her hair, a vest, tarnish brown shorts, and Genna noticed the blue headphones around her neck. 

"I like your flower headband," Genna complimented, noticing it for the first time.   

"Thanks. I'm Lillyanna," The girl stated extending her hand. Genna took it. 

"I'm Genna." Lilyanna smiled then looked back to a booth. Genna looked as well. Sitting in a booth far from the doors sat a girl wearing headphones, paying no attention to the noise coming from outside. She had long wavy dark blue hair, and wore a dark red sweater.  

"That's Zoey,"  Lilyanna remarked, "She and I just met a couple of seconds ago." The building shook. Genna tried to keep her balance, but failed, falling next to a booth. Zoey took off her headphones. 

"What's going on?" She yelled, holding the seats. 

"I don't know!" Genna yelled, "But we have to get out of here!" She knew she was asked to stay, but she wasn't going to stay in a building that had a possibility of collapsing. She moved her hand, symbolizing that Lilyanna and Zoey should follow her. 

Both girls followed at a close distance. Part of the roof collapsed, blocking the door. "Now what do we do?!?" Lilyanna yelled. Genna turned around and headed for the kitchen. She knew there was a back door; that would be their way out. Another part of the roof collapsed. Genna looked back to make sure Lilyanna and Zoey were still following her. Lilyanna was right behind her, while Zoey was behind Lilyanna. Another part of the roof collapsed and it was about to hit Zoey. 

"NO!" Genna extended her hand, and time slowed. She had, had this power for as long as she could remember. Stopping or even slowing down time, helped in many situations. Genna ran over to Zoey and tackled her, as time speed up. Zoey and Genna both hit the ground. A explosion of dark violet flew from Zoey's hands and hit the wreckage blocking the door. 

"What was that?!?" Lilyanna and Genna asked. Zoey looked at the door. 

"L-Let's get out of here." The three of them ran out the door and into the street. The building collapsed behind them. Genna looked over at Zoey. What was that? Does she have an elemental power as well? Genna tried to think of something that would make Zoey feel better. She was clearly embarrassed of what happened. 

"I like your eyes," Genna stated noticing Zoey's pure white eyes.  Zoey looked away. Genna sighed then looked around. Everyone that she saw in the booths, including her brother,  were fighting someone Genna couldn't see. Just checking what's happening huh?  Genna sighed. Her brother really needed to start telling her things.  

She groaned, then tried to process exactly what was happening. Obviously they were fighting someone or something. But who?
