Nakul and Ragini reached home. Both of them came out of the car and smiled while looking at each other. They went inside the house with the help of a spare key and locked it from inside. Then, they both threw themselves on the sofa in tiredness.

"Ragini papa kab tak aayenge?"...Nakul asked while looking at his wrist watch.

"Aate hi honge"...Ragini replied while yawning.

Nakul looked at her and smiled.

"Neend aa rahi hai?"...He asked.

"Hmmm bahut jyada, itni ki main bed par let'te hi so jaaungi"...Ragini replied in a sleepy voice.

"Jab neend aaye na, tab coffee peeni chahiye"...Nakul said while smiling.

Ragini: Haan...You're right.

"To phir bana ke lao na"...Nakul said and smirked.

Ragini stood up with a jerk and looked at him while he was smirking.

"What?...Mujhe laga tum banaoge"...She said and pouted her lips in annoyance.

"Miss Ragini aapka bhai itna bhi achchha nahin hai"...Nakul replied and laughed only to irritate her.

"Oh!...To aapki behan bhi itni achchhi nahin hai Mr. Nakul...Aap coffee banane jaa rahe hain ya main papa ko call karke bataun ki aap mera khayal nahin rakhte"...Ragini said while smirking.

"Achchha to bata do...Lekin kya tum chahti ho ki papa ka surprise kharab ho jaaye?"...Nakul said and grinned evilly.

"Bhaiya"...Ragini squealed in irritation.

"Achchha ab jab kaam aaya to bhaiya"...Nakul said and laughed under his throat.

Ragini looked at him and sighed. She made a face while looking towards the other side. Nakul laughed at her due to which she became more irritated. She was about to yell at him but she stopped when an idea struck her mind. She smiled evilly and looked at her brother.

"To tum coffee nahin banaoge?"...She asked with a serious face.

"No...Na...Nahin...Never"...Nakul replied while nodding his head in no.

"Pakka"...Ragini asked again.

"Are sau taka"...Nakul replied with attitude.

"To phir thik hai, main papa ko Shruti...Ahem ahem...Shruti bhabhi ke baare mein bata deti hoon"...Ragini said while sliding the screen of her cell phone.

"Ragini nahin...Please aisa mat karna"...Nakul said in a pleading tone.

"Tum coffee banaoge?"...Ragini asked while raising her eyebrows while looking at him.

"Haan meri maa...Main coffee banaunga"...He said while joining his palms and bowing down in front of her.

"Oh! That's great...Chalo phir kaam pe lag jao"...Ragini said with attitude and laughed under her breathe.

Nakul glared her before moving into the kitchen. She laughed at him while he started making coffee for both of them.

Soon he returned back to her with two coffee mugs. He smiled when he saw her sleeping on the sofa. He kept the coffee mugs and lovingly caressed her head.

"Ragini"...He called her lovingly.

But she didn't get up. He smiled and again called her but still she didn't wake up. He sighed and looked at her.

"Ye to uth hi nahin rahi hai...Pehli baar itni mehnat se coffee banayi aur sab bekaar ho gaya"...He whispered and sadly turned to the other side.

He got startled when he heard the opening of the door. He thought that ACP Pradyuman has come. He smiled and turned to look at Ragini. He became surprised when he didn't find her there.

"Papa aa gaye"...Ragini shrieked in excitement.

Nakul looked at her in surprise. Then only he realised that she was pretending to sleep and that only to irritate him. Before he could speak, she rushed towards the doorstep. He also went behind her. As soon as the door opened they both jumped and hugged the person in excitement. The person was surprised with their act, he slightly pushed them while they were surprised to see him as he was not ACP Pradyuman. They both looked at each other and then at the person in embarrassment.

"Kya hua Salunkhe?...Darwaaze par kyun khada hai?"...ACP Pradyuman asked while walking towards Dr. Salunkhe after parking his car.

Dr. Salunkhe: Pradyuman wo tumhare ghar mein...

He stopped in the middle and looked at Ragini and Nakul who were nodding their heads in no.

"Mere ghar mein kya Salunkhe?"...ACP Pradyuman asked while looking at him.

After that, he peeped inside the house. It took a second or two for the information of the presence of his children to sink into his mind, even though they were right before his eyes. After a fraction of seconds, he felt his lips stretch wider into a gaping grin and his eyebrows arch for the sky. And in the other couple of seconds, he felt them squeezing their arms around him and his arms reciprocating.

Dr. Salunkhe looked at them and smiled.

"Tum dono yahan...Matlab tumne mujhse jhooth bola tha ki aaj tumhara show hai"...ACP Pradyuman asked Ragini while pulling Nakul's ear.

"Aah!...Papa jhooth Ragini ne bola aur sazaa mujhe...This is not fair"...Nakul whined and complained.

ACP Pradyuman left his ear and smiled.

"Ragini tumse chhoti hai"...He said while giving a side hug to Ragini.

Ragini looked at Nakul and sticked her tongue out at him while hugging back ACP Pradyuman.

"Mere to bas Salunkhe uncle hi hain"...Nakul said while hugging Dr. Salunkhe.

Dr. Salunkhe smiled and hugged him back. ACP Pradyuman and Ragini looked at them and smiled. After sometime, they all moved inside the house and settled themselves on the sofa.

"Ye coffee kisne banayi hai?"...ACP Pradyuman asked while picking up one of the coffee mugs.

Ragini: Papa Nakul ne...

"Thandi ho gayi hai lekin bahut achchhi bani hai"...ACP Pradyuman said after taking a sip of the coffee.

"Maine banayi hai...Thanks papa"...Ragini replied and grinned naughtily while looking at Nakul.

Nakul too looked at her and now he was annoyed with her mischiefs. He turned and ran to chase her when she started running from one corner to the other corner to save herself from him as she understood that he was going to smack her anytime.

ACP Pradyuman and Dr. Salunkhe laughed while looking at their silly fight.

Ragini and Nakul reached up to Ragini's room during their chasing session. Ragini smirked and hastily jumped inside her room and closed the door while Nakul stood their in surprise.

"Good night...Mere pyaare Nakul bhaiya"...Ragini spoke up loudly before lying on the bed.

"Bad night...Scary dreams"...Nakul replied and banged his hand on the door. Then only he realised that Ragini had not closed the door. He laughed and went inside the room with baby steps only to find Ragini sleeping peacefully while hugging her pillow. A smile crept over his lips after seeing her innocence. He moved near her bed and covered her properly with the blanket.

"Good night chhoti"...He whispered before leaving the room.

At the other side, ACP Pradyuman looked at Dr. Salunkhe who seemed to be lost in his thoughts.

"Kya hua Salunkhe?"...He asked while tapping his shoulder.

"Huh!...Kya hua?"...Dr. Salunkhe spoke up suddenly.

ACP Pradyuman: Are wahi to main puchh raha hoon...Kya hua?

"Ragini?"...Dr. Salunkhe uttered and looked at him in confusion.

"Meri beti hai"...ACP Pradyuman said while smiling.

Dr. Salunkhe: Lekin Pradyuman tumhari...

"Main is baare mein baad mein baat karoonga Salunkhe"...ACP Pradyuman spoke up while interrupting him in the middle.

Dr. Salunkhe: Lekin...

"Are Nakul aa gaya...Chalo aaj hum teeno saath mein dinner karte hain"...ACP Pradyuman interrupted again and spoke up while looking at Nakul who was coming towards them.

Dr. Salunkhe fully understood that he was trying to mislead the topic. He thought for a while and decided to talk about the matter a little later. He went with him and Nakul to have dinner.

At the other side, Kavin was lying on the bed and was staring at the ceiling. Slow desolate tears ran from his unblinking eyes and dripped steadily into his nightshirt. His eyes were burning and his chest felt heavy as if it were filled with lead. He could no longer see clearly. All he knew was that Purvi was gone, out of his life for possibly forever.

Kanchan was standing near the door of his room. She saw him crying as his tears shone when the bright moonlight fell on his face. She was also having tears in her eyes after seeing his condition.

"Bhagwan aur kitne dukh dekhne honge mere Kavin ko...Kehte hain sachcha pyaar adhoora nahin rehta, to phir kyun mere bete ke pyaar ki koi manzil nahin nazar aa rahi hai...Usne Purvi se sachche dil se pyaar kiya aur aapne usko chheen liya us se...Uska pyaar adhoora kar diya"...She whispered in a low voice as her voice choked in her throat.

At the same time, Kishore came there. He stood beside her and looked at Kavin who was slept by then while crying.

"Sab kuchh thik ho jaayega Kanchan"...Kishore whispered while giving her a side hug.

Kanchan turned towards him and hugged him. She started sobbing silently in his arms while he caressed her hairs and took her into their room.
