ACP Pradyuman and Kishore were sitting with Kanchan in the hall. Kishore had already told Kanchan about Suyash and his deeds and now she was utterly worried.

"Mujhe to bahut ghabrahat ho rahi hai, kahin gusse mein Kavin kuchh kar na baithe"...She mumbled worriedly.

"Kavin ek CID officer hai Kanchan...Wo samajhdaar hai use sahi-galat ka andaaza hai"...Kishore said in order to calm her down.

"Kishore is samay jo Kavin hai wo CID officer nahin Purvi ka pati hai...Aur Purvi ka pati is waqt sahi ya galat nahin jaanta, wo bas itna jaanta hai ki Suyash ne usko uski Purvi se door kiya hai"...ACP Pradyuman said what he was feeling right now.

"To phir tum kuchh karo Pradyuman...Main nahin chahta kuchh galat ho"...Kishore said in worriedness.

"Tum chinta mat karo Kishore...Main kuchh karta hoon"...ACP Pradyuman said in an assuring tone.

At the other side, Suyash turned Purvi towards him by wrapping his arms around her waist. He picked her up in his arms and laid her on the bed. Then, he too laid beside her and slid his right hand from her left arm to her left hand.

"Tumhe dekha pehle maine...Tumhe jaana pehle maine...Tumhe chaha pehle maine...Tumhare papa se shaadi ki baat ki pehle maine...Phir wo Kavin hamare beech mein kaise aaya"...He whispered against her face while touching her hairs.

He slid his fingers on her right cheek.

"Purvi mujhe yakeen hai ki tum is duniya mein sirf isliye janmi ho ki ek din meri ban sako...Aur aaj main tumhe hamesha ke liye apna bana loonga"...He whispered while touching her face, then he held her by her waist and kissed her cheeks.

Purvi was not reacting to whatsoever that was happening with her as she was lying unconscious under the influence of the drug that Suyash had injected inside her body. Suyash unbuttoned his shirt and removed it fully. Then, he hovered over Purvi and kissed her neck. He was about to hug her but stopped when he heard the opening of the door of the room. He looked at the doorstep and found Kavin and Nakul standing there, their fists were clenched and there jaws were rooted in anger.

"Tum dono...Tum dono yahan kaise aaye?"...Suyash asked in anger.

"Abhi batate hain"...Kavin and Nakul said in unison while walking towards him in anger.

Suyash got down from the bed and looked at them. He was about to punch them but Nakul held his hand.

"Teri himmat kaise hui meri behan ko haath lagane ki...Jaan le loonga main teri"...Nakul yelled in anger while leaving his hand and holding him from his neck.

Kavin looked at Purvi who was lying unconscious on the bed. He walked towards her and caressed her hairs. A drop of tear fell from his left eye after seeing her condition. He covered her with a blanket and kissed her forehead. Then, he looked at Suyash, burning rage hissed through his body like deathly poison, screeching a demanded release in the form of violence. He walked towards him and freed him from Nakul's grip.

"Ye Purvi ko tang karne ke liye"...He yelled in anger before punching him on his stomach.

Then, he passed him to Nakul. Nakul held him and looked at him in anger.

"Ye Purvi ki masoomiyat ka fayda uthane ke liye"...He yelled in anger before punching him on the left side of his mouth.

Then, he passed him to Kavin. Kavin held him and looked at him in anger.

"Ye Purvi ko mujhse juda karne ke liye"...He yelled in anger before punching him on the right side of his mouth.

Then, he passed him to Nakul. Nakul held him.

"Ye Purvi ko chhune ke liye"...He yelled in anger before punching him on his stomach.

Then, he passed him to Kavin. Kavin held him, his anger on him rose after recalling Purvi's state.

"Ye Purvi ki izzat par haath daalne ke liye"...He yelled in anger before punching him hard on his chest.

Suyash screamed and held his chest, a sudden gush of pain jolted throughout his body. His chest, stomach and mouth ached, his arms lost tension and his legs began to weaken. He dropped down to the cold tiles. His mouth was soaked in the taste of blood and his head was pounding in pain. Bruised and wounded, he managed to get the hold of Kavin's leg. He grabbed his leg and pulled him down beside him.

"Purvi meri hai..."...He muttered while gasping in pain.

Kavin lost his temper after hearing him. He closed his fists and brought it to his face and snapped his nose into a grotesquerie.

"Purvi meri hai...Sirf meri...Sirf aur sirf meri"...He whispered against his bruised and wounded face.

Nakul looked at him. He forwarded his hand towards him, Kavin held his hand and stood up with his support. Then, they both held Suyash and made him stand up. They were about to beat him more but Abhijeet and Sachin stopped them, they were sent by ACP Pradyuman to take Suyash to the bureau.

"Bas Kavin, Nakul ab tum dono chhod do ise...Ab iski baaki ki khaatirdaari bureau mein hogi"...Abhijeet said while freeing Suyash from their hold.

"Waise tum dono ne iski aisi haalat ki hai ki is baar ye jail se bhaag nahin paayega"...Sachin said while holding Suyash from his collars.

Nakul looked at him and then at Suyash who was staring at Purvi, he lost his temper after noticing that.

"Tujh mein zara si bhi sharam hai...Itni maar khaane ke baad bhi nahin sudhra"...He said in anger while holding him from his collars.

"Nakul...Control yourself"...Sachin said in a strict tone while pulling him back and freeing Suyash from his grip.

Kavin looked at Nakul and then at Suyash, he slapped him hard due to which he fell down on the floor and became unconscious.

"Kavin...Ye kya kiya tumne"...Abhijeet yelled in anger.

"Sir wahi kiya jo aap karte jab koi aadmi Tarika ko buri nazar se dekhta"...Kavin replied, then he removed his jacket and went near Purvi.

Abhijeet became quiet after hearing his reply. He held Suyash with the help of Nakul and Sachin. Kavin removed the blanket and wrapped his jacket around Purvi's shoulders and then picked her up in his arms.

"Nakul main car mein tumhara intezaar kar raha hoon"...He said and walked out of the room.

Nakul looked at Abhijeet and Sachin. He didn't know what to say to them, so he walked out of the room silently. Abhijeet and Sachin too went outside with Suyash. Kavin and Nakul left for home with Purvi while Abhijeet and Sachin left for the bureau with Suyash.

"Aaram se Kavin..."...Nakul said while opening the door of the car as Kavin turned to come out of the car with Purvi in his arms. They have reached home.

Kavin came out of the car, Nakul closed the door of the car. Then, they both walked towards the house with Purvi.

"Maa..."...Kavin called out as soon as he entered inside the house.

Kanchan looked at him, Kishore and ACP Pradyuman too looked at him. They all became happy when they saw Purvi with him but soon their happiness turned into worriedness when they noticed that she was unconscious.

"Kavin tum Purvi ko apne kamre mein le jao...Main doctor ko call karta hoon"...Nakul said while patting his shoulder.

Kavin nodded and carried Purvi to his room. He laid her on the bed and covered her properly with the blanket. He kissed her forehead and then moved out of the room.

"Purvi thik hai na beta?"...Kanchan asked worriedly.

"Purvi ko kuchh nahin hoga maa"...Kavin said and side hugged her.

Kanchan nodded and smiled lightly. After sometime, Dr. Manik came to see Purvi.

"Behoshi ka injection diya gaya tha inhe...Aap log chinta mat kijiye, raat tak hosh aa jaayega inhe"...Dr. Manik said after checking up Purvi.

"Thank you doctor"...Kavin said with a small smile.

"It's alright Inspector"...Dr. Manik replied with a gentle smile.

ACP Pradyuman and Nakul looked at Kavin.

"Achchha Kavin hum chalte hain, kal subah aayenge Purvi se milne"...ACP Pradyuman said with a smile and patted his back gently.

"Ok sir..."...Kavin mumbled.

"Dr. Manik aaiye...Hum aapko bhi ghar chhod denge"...Nakul said.

Dr. Manik nodded.

"Achchha to hum chalte hain Kavin...Khayal rakhna Purvi ka"...Nakul said while patting his shoulders.

Kavin nodded with a small smile. Nakul smiled back and then left from there with ACP Pradyuman and Dr. Manik.

"Kavin beta tum bhi jao change kar lo"...Kanchan said while giving him his clothes.

Kavin nodded and went into another room to change his clothes. Kishore looked at Kanchan who was now sitting on the bed beside Purvi and was caressing her hairs. He went near her and tapped her shoulder.

"Kaha tha na maine sab thik ho jaayega"...He said with a gentle smile.

Kanchan looked at him and nodded with a smile, then she hugged him. He hugged her back and ran his fingers in her hairs. They stayed there for sometime and then left the room.

At night, Kavin walked towards his room after having dinner. As soon as he entered inside his room his gaze fell on Purvi who was still lying unconscious on the bed. He walked towards her and sat on the bed, he looked at her and caressed her head. He realised that she was asleep right now, he smiled lightly and laid beside her by maintaining some distance.

"Pata hai main kitna darr gaya tha, mujhe laga main phir se tumse door ho jaaunga"...He whispered with tears while caressing her head.

He jerked his thoughts and wiped his tears.

"Aaj main bahut khush hoon Purvi...Tum mujhe mil gayi, tum nahin jaanti main tumhare bina kaise jee raha tha pichhle teen saalon mein...Tum meri mannat ho Purvi...Wo mannat jo bahut minnaton ke baad mili hai...Tum meri ho...Meri Purvi"...He whispered while stroking her hairs.

He removed his hand from her head and smiled a bit.

"I love you..."...He whispered before moving close to her and then kissed her forehead.

Purvi wiped her forehead and made an irritated face in her sleep. Kavin laughed slightly at her act and moved back to his place. He once again looked at her and glanced at her face, her features looked much softer in sleep and she looked so peaceful. He smiled and turned around, he pulled the blanket up over his shoulder and slept after a while.

It was midnight, Purvi turned around in her sleep and suddenly her hand fell on Kavin's hand. She immediately took her hand back and woke up with a jerk. She looked around in fear but couldn't see anything as there was darkness all around in the room. After struggling a lot she found a table lamp, she switched it on and looked beside to see who was lying next to her.

"Kavinji..."...She mumbled in utter surprise.

She rubbed her eyes and looked at him again, now she understood that he was Kavin only. She looked around the room to confirm that she was in his room. She smiled, her eyes welled up with silvery tears after realising the fact that he had saved her from Suyash and had known that she was not Ragini, she was Purvi. She wiped her tears and looked at him, sunshine flooded her soul when she realised that now she was with her husband.

But her smile faded when her mind recalled something, she immediately got down from the bed and took a notepad. She wrote something on that with a heavy heart and then kept that on Kavin's study table. She looked at Kavin, tears automatically made their way through the corner of her eyes after seeing him. She controlled her tears and took them back. She switched off the table lamp and walked out of his room with the help of her mobile flashlight. She went into Kishore and Kanchan's room, she touched their feet and silently walked out of their room with tears, then she went outside the house.
