On their reception night Sameen tries to commit suicide but her father sees her and calls for people who then take her to a hospital where she is saved. Hamza tells her how his mother spoke about their marriage and he had disagreed on the first go itself. This shocked Sameen that her aunt was giving false hopes.

While overcoming the hatred and hardships there, Hamza helps Hala find confidence in herself through various events. Over time they get accustomed to each other behaving like a dawning couple overcoming every obstacle.

They begin to fall for each other. Eventually one night against his mother's wish Hamza takes Hala out of town for a stay where he gifts her a bracelet with an 'H' confessing his feelings to her to which she also reciprocates.

On discovering Hala's wish to study and visit her dad in London Hamza promises to take her and even starts the processing. While Khurram saves Sameen's life and both bump into each other multiple times, they grow a friendship with each other. One day Sameen takes Khurram to her house, where he realises that it is Hala's house as he had gone there before and sees her and Hamza together happily from behind the bushes and vows to take a revenge on her. It is soon revealed that Hala is pregnant when she faints in the middle of the living room.

and will now not be able to travel to London.

Shook by the news Shah Jahan plans to give Hala miscarriage pills on the pretext of medicine but Hala is soon stopped when Hamza forces her to visit a doctor because of her deteriorating health. Shah Jahan very smartly blames Hala for the pills stating how her desire to visit London halted because of her pregnancy and Hamza too believes it to be truth and accuses Hala but they later reconcile.

It is later revealed that on his way to destroy Hala's life Khurram is affected by Sameen and soon develops feeling for her. And gets engaged to Sameen.
