Ashi: Jannat, what is going on between Siddharth and Arishfa?

Jan: He proposed to her last night...

Sam: Oh, that was fast...

Ash: It was but isn't she with Lucky?

Jan: They broke up a week ago...

AK: And even if not, who would choose Lucky over Siddharth...

Reem: And why do you think so?

AK: *giggle* Just look at Lucky, that boy has no personality, anyone would choose Siddharth over him...

Ashi: Would you?

AK: It is not about me...

Reem: Do you have a crush on him?

And she pointed at Lucky and Arishfa, who was standing in the corner hand in hand... Sid looked at them and felt jealous or maybe even betrayed but thought of shrugging off that feeling because he doesn't want to sound jealous and insecure...

-With Arishfa and Lucky-

Lucky: Listen, Ari, what sport are you taking?

Ari: Swimming?

Lucky: Why? You wanted to play basketball this year, right?

Ari: Ya but my mom said that I should take swimming, she knows that I am not any good at that so, I won't have to go for tournaments and stuff and I can devote that time to studies and manage to at least pass... If I take basketball, I know I can at least make it to the district team and she knows that too...

Lucky: That is not fair...

Ari: I know but she won't allow me to play basketball...

Lucky: Not just that, she can't decide if you are good enough or not... You can do anything you fucking want to... You are so determined and so talented... I know you will do well at swimming; you just need to change your point of view... Plus, I have taken table tennis and the table tennis area is very close to the swimming pool, so, I can come and cheer you on at every class...

Ari: Every?

Lucky: Ya of course... Don't forget, I am your biggest fan...

And they chuckled as she looked at him... Why the fuck did she even break up with him? Why the fuck did she even agree to Sid? They have what every girl in their high school dreams of, then why the fuck is she not seeing that? - she thought and that was the moment she knew that she fucked up... She was brought into reality when Lucky held her hand...

Lucky: You got a new ring?

Ari: You noticed?

Lucky: It is beautiful...

Ari: Are you dating someone?

Lucky: No, we just broke up a week ago...

Ari: Have you asked someone out or vice versa?

And they both smiled at each other... When the bell which indicates that the recess is over rang... And Arishfa ran to Siddharth...

Ari: I am very sorry but I can't be your girlfriend...

Sid (confused): huh?

And she left leaving him feeling betrayed... But before he could react the teacher came and asked the class to settle down... Arishfa's seat was with Siddharth but she switched with Lucky's seatmate Dev, which didn't leave unnoticed by Siddharth... He cursed under his breath and regretted not listening to Jannat and almost every single person in his class, who warned him... He wanted to know the reason but he already knew it... No, he wasn't crying nor was his eyes teary, he just felt betrayed, angry and used enough to hate Arishfa's guts... She was his first girlfriend... He was in a boys' school for 3 years and when he saw her for the very first time, he got attracted to her, he became her friend and also her boyfriend for 5 minutes and all this made him wonder if he is not smart enough... Everybody told her that Arishfa is an easy girl and she would certainly for sure be his girlfriend, but no, she left him in a minute... She left him for another guy... He was dumped without getting a chance and that made him think he was not the guy girls want... That day, she didn't only break his heart but also his confidence...
