Life isn't suppose to be like this. It's not suppose to be this hard

"DAISY?"

She ignored Scott as he called out her name on the other side of the bedroom door. She was laying on her bed, tears staining the pillow that laid under her head.

Already one day here, and her heart feels like it's in a million pieces. But, that's her fault for leaving. It's her fault that she realized she was in love with someone else after the boy she loved died. It's her fault that she ran away instead of fighting her demons face to face. It's her fault that she always does the wrong thing at the wrong time.

"Come on, Daisy." Scott knocked on the door, a sigh escaping him.

"Go away," she weakly demanded, her head throbbing from how much crying. It was really pathetic. She fights bad guys everyday, she get punched, shot, stapped, and whatever else, and doesn't cry, but then when someone breaks her heart... she's a blubbering mess.

"No," Scott strongly said. "I don't like to see my sister like this. You are so much stronger than this."

"No, I'm not!" Daisy shouted, her voice breaking off into a whisper as she pictured the look in Stiles' eyes when he saw her at the bottom of the stairs.

"Yes, you are!" Scott shouted back which made her momentarily shocked. "You're Daisy freaking McCall-Johnson. You are Quake. You are stronger than this, Daisy. You fight aliens, inhumans, and whatever else is out there everyday, and then, one single person is gonna make you cry? Make you weak?"

She sighed and buried her head into a pillow as he continued to talk, "You are much better than this. You are better than allowing one person to destroy the wall you've built around yourself. You're stronger than allowing someone to tear down your happiness."

"That's the thing, Scott. I'm not happy!" She shouted, flipping over onto her back to stare up at her ceiling, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Everyone hates me! I abandoned everyone! Coulson can barely look me in the eyes, May is always giving me the evil eyes, Mack barely even talks to me, I have barely seen Fitz or Simmons. Stiles hates me, he can't even look at me without getting angry. I saw the look in his eyes, Scott. He hates me! He really, really hates me!"

"Then go talk to him! Make him not hate you."

"I can't do that..." She trailed off. "The last time I went to him with the mission to get him to understand me, it ended with me running away, with me disappearing for months."

"I don't care if you disappear for a year, you need to go tell him the truth, spill your heart out, yell it out if you have to, I don't care. I hate seeing the two people I care about most, hurting, especially because of each other. I know he loved you, I think he still does, I just think that he's hiding it behind anger because he's scared of getting hurt again. And you... you've always loved him more than a best friend or brother figure, you just didn't realize it. You both have chemistry out of this world. You both need to forgive eachother or this whole situation is gonna get out of hand."

Daisy stared at her bedroom door in complete shock. She's never heard such wise words come out of his mouth before. She chuckled lightly and shook her head before getting out of her bed. She walked towards the door and opened it, revealing a smiling Scott. "You sure are no Melissa McCall with wise words, but you did good, brother."

He chuckled with humor. "Thanks?"

"You're welcome." She patted his shoulder, wiped her tears away, and brushed pass him. She walked down the stairs, outside, and towards her van.

"Good luck!" She heard Scott shout as she pressed down on the gas, going towards the Stilinski household.

She nervously tapped her fingers on the steering wheel, her heart racing, and her mind coming up with many scenarios where this whole thing could go in the wrong direction.

As she pulled up to her destination, she hesitated about getting out of her vehicle. She didn't want this to end badly. She didn't want her heart to get broken, again, and she definitely did not want to break his heart, again, either.

Slowly getting out of the van, she bit her lip before approaching the door that led inside the Stilinski household. She took in a shaky breath and opened up the door, knowing that it wouldn't be locked because of the fact that nobody was dumb enough to break into the Sheriffs house, and plus, Stiles always forgets to lock a door especially if he's angry or in a hurry. Telling by the fact that his Jeep's door is still open, she knew he bursted into the house angrily.

Daisy slowly but surely made her way upstairs, and to the door that led to his bedroom. The door was wide open, allowing her to see Stiles pacing around in it, stuff thrown about everywhere. She guessed he was angrier than she thought he was.

"Stiles?" She meekly asked, her eyes widening as he turned to her abruptly, his eyes blazing with anger and hurt. She sucked in a huge breath before taking a hesitant stop towards. "I, erm, Scott talked me into coming here, and, um, and to set things right."

"You can't set anything right because you are the reason that everything is set apart!" He was so angry that he didn't care if he made sense or not. "Look at this! Look at me! You're the reason why everything is so... so messed up!"

"I-I know," Daisy stuttered out, hating herself for allowing herself to be this vulnerable, but this is what happens when she was around the people she loves, she allows herself to be hurt.

"You say that too much!" He shouted, running an angry hand through his dark hair. "Everytime I say something, you say you know, but you don't fucking know!" His voice cracked as he looked her in the eyes. "You hurt me beyond repair. I've loved you the moment I laid my eyes on you. And the moment I admitted it, it's been different between us, and it doesn't help that you got shot and then disappeared the day after I admitted it. Everyday since then, you've hurt me in every possible way, especially when you came back to only have a boyfriend! What the hell, Daisy? Who does that?!"

"I—" Daisy stopped herself because she knew that what she was about to say was only gonna make him angrier. "I've hurt you, I know that, but there's no way I can change that, all I can do now is think about the future. A future that has us talking again, a future that doesn't have you hating me."

"I don't hate you!" He exclaimed, throwing his hands up. "I mean—" he ran a frustrated hand through his hair. "You broke me, you broke my heart and I hate you, because I still love you!"

She froze, the only sound in the room was their heavy breathing. She gulped before hesitantly speaking, "I-I..." She took in a breath and closed her eyes, knowing that was she was going to say had to be said, but it was going to change everything. "I love you, too." There was a pause, but in that pause, she heard Stiles suck in a huge shaky breath. "I am in love with you." She opened her eyes to stare into his whisky colored eyes that were full of tears. "I have tried to kill it, I have tried to run away from it, but I can't and I don't want to anymore."

They continued to stare at eachother in complete silence, her heart pounding against her rib cage, her brain buzzing with heart breaking thoughts. Her bottom started to tremble and tears started to fall from her eyes as she knew that she ruined everything... again.

And then... Stiles launched himself at her.

She froze, her back going completely rigged as he grabbed her face and shoved their lips together.

Her eyes widened as she realized what was happening. Her shaky hands slowly reached up to lay on his cheeks, but he pushed back, away from her. She stood there, not moving from her position, her hands raised in the air, her eyes wide, and mouth agape.

Stiles let out a breath before storming pass her, breaking her heart all over again.

When she heard the front door shut, she fell to the floor, pools and pools of tears falling down her face, landing on the floor. She let out a cry of pure pain. Her hands started to shake, and not long after, the room started to shake, as well. Whatever was left on the shelves started to fall all around her, but she didn't care.

Without words, Stiles had broken her completely.
