What is your worst habit? Destroying myself

DAISY knocked on the door and sighed before talking. "Gabe? It's Daisy Johnson." The door opened and SHE walked in.

"Where's my brother?" Gabe asked right away, staring up at him.

"I'm here to take you to him," she told him, looking down at him, and noticed how his eyes flitted across her bruised face and neck.

"How come he didn't come? Or call?"

She pursed her lips before speaking, "I think it'd be better if you heard it from him."

"Okay, if you think I'm just gonna get in some car and—" Engines fired and the walls of the house started to rattle.

Daisy smirked down at him. "Who said anything about a car?"

DAISY rolled Gabe to Robbie who sat on the hood of his car. "Robbie." As soon as Robbie heard his brothers voice, he jumped up and approached them.

"Hey, what's up, man?" Robbie glanced from Daisy to his brother. "Look, uh, sorry about all the drama. I'm just glad to see you're safe."

"Me? What about you, disappearing like that? I thought you trusted me." Gabe looked up at his big brother as Daisy stepped back to give them some space.

Robbie furrowed his eyebrows. "Well, I do. Then why are you hiding such a big secret?"

Robbie looked over at Daisy and she held her hands up. "I didn't tell him anything," she told the truth.

Gabe looked from Daisy to his brother. "She doesn't have to. I can do the math. The nights you're away, the blood on your clothes. Now this?"

Robbie frowned. "I wanted to tell you... for a long time. It's just... how do you tell your brother that you're—"

"A secret agent?"

Daisy stepped forward as she saw the look on Robbie's face. "You know, he wanted to, but he couldn't. He took an oath, 'cause, well, it's a secret."

Gabe smiled. "Hey, I — I get it. This is... super-dope. And kind of a relief. Sometimes I'd find blood in the sink. I was afraid it was something else."

"Like what?"

"Something bad."

"Well, you can relax now that you," Daisy looked to Robbie who was already looking at her with sad eyes, "Know the truth."

"How come you're telling me now?" Gabe questioned, looking between them.

"We had to bring you in for your protection," Daisy told him, standing by Robbie's side.

Robbie finally took his eyes off of Daisy and looked to his brother. "Tío got snatched out of prison. We were worried that the person who took him might try to grab you for leverage."

Daisy cleared my throat. "But the important thing is that you're safe now, and we're gonna find your Uncle Eli."

"Into the containment module now!" Mack shouted as he ran down the stairs and towards them. "The new Director boarded with a Tac Team, and he wants to take you both into custody."

Daisy furrowed my eyebrows. "What? Why?"

"Why? Really? Just get in the damn box." Mack started to push Gabe. "You, too, Ironside!"

"Hey, screw you, Black Kojak!" Gabe shouted. "No one moves this thing except for me!" All three of them quickly got into the module.

"I like this kid." Mack stated, "Look, no offense, but you can't be here, any of you. Going down." They were then lowered down and out of the Zephyr, being hidden.

"Don't worry," Daisy told Gabe who looked worried. "You're safe. Even if we detach, it has thrusters that—"

"I understand the science," he interrupted her, ""I'm not worried we're gonna fall. Worried about what you're not telling me. Why are we hiding in here?"

Daisy sighed and leaned forward. "It's because of me. I used to be an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I left, and now the Director's hunting me down."

"Why do Robbie and I have to hide?" He asked her before looking to Robbie. "Aren't you a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, too?"

"Yes, he is, but—"

Robbie interrupted her, "Stop." He looked down at her as she was seated. "I appreciate what you're trying to do here, but... I can't lie to him anymore." He sat down beside her, sighing. He looked his brother in the eyes. "You deserve the truth. All of it." Robbie started telling a story.

"Are you still beating yourself up about that night?"

"Wait." Daisy furrowed her eyebrows, and Robbie turned to her, "What night?"

Gabe was the one that answered, "He blames himself that I'm in the chair."

"'Cause it's my fault," Robbie stated, sadly.

"It was bad luck."

"There's no such thing as luck," Robbie stated, looking up at his brother. "There's decisions and consequences. And I made a whole lot of bad decisions that night. Like bringing you along." Robbie started to go into more detail.

"I was sure you were dead."

"'Cause I was dead,"Robbie retorted.

Gabe smiled and shook his head. "Come on, man, you're crazy."

"Am I? What do you remember about the Fifth Street attack?"

"You mean after I thought you were dead? I guess... it was the good Samaritan. I heard his motorcycle pull up. Next thing I know, he... pulled me to safety."

"Who was this guy?" Daisy asked, curious.

Gabe shrugged. "Don't know. Never saw him. Just some good Samaritan. He stopped, saved us, and moved on." He looked at Robbie. "I remember he went over to you. He bent down to check on you. And then you moved. That's when I knew you were alive."

Robbie spoke up, "Yeah. That's not what happened. Well, the first part is like you said. The fire, the chase, the shooting. But what I remember most is feeling like I screwed up... that because of me, you were going to die. We both were."

"We didn't. We survived."

Robbie shook his head. "Now, this is the part I never told you, the thing I tried to hide. When I was thrown from the car... I begged God, I begged the universe, I begged anyone who would listen, that you be spared. I swore that I'd give anything to save you." He sighed and looked down, taking in a shaky breath.

Daisy scooted closer and placed her hand on his head which sat atop his knee. "Don't stop there." He looked over at her, their eyes connecting. "Then what?"

"Then I hit the street..." he spoke, still looking into her eyes. "And I died. And there's nothing. It's just darkness. Then I heard a voice. It was asking me if I wanted a second chance, did I want to punish those who hurt my brother, did I want to avenge my own death. I answered, "Yes. More than anything, yes." And I was alive again. And you're right." He then finally looked to his brother, "There was someone there when I came to. But it wasn't a good Samaritan. It was the Devil." He took in a deep breath, "And whatever was inside him, he passed it into me."

Gabe took in a shaky breath. "Ghost Rider."

"That's the deal I made. I swore to go after those who spilled innocent blood. And then I was reborn."

"You killed all those Locos," Gabe realized, his eyes wide.

"No." Robbie shook his head, and reached over to place his hand on his brothers.

Only then did Daisy realize that she still had her hand on his. She quickly retracted her hand, remembering the conversation she had with Scott yesterday. He was telling her how he and everyone else thought she was dead because of how she hasn't answered her phone for months. He also told her how heartbroken Stiles is. He told her how Stiles blames it all on himself, and it made Scott confused because Stiles never said why he believed that it was all his fault. She guessed he never told anyone about their heated late night chat that made her run away.

"No." Robbie's voice brought her out of her terrible thoughts. "That wasn't me. The thing inside me. It craves vengeance. Those gangsters got what they deserved for what they did to you."

"Did to me?" He shoved Robbie's hand away from him. "I'm fine. You ever hear me complain? So I can't walk anymore. I didn't ask for that, but I'm fine with it. Don't you put their blood on me!" He glared at Robbie.

They were then brought upwards, and Daisy's eyes widened as she stood upwards and looked out the window to see the new director talking with Coulson.

"Okay, this looks bad, but I've seen Coulson talk his way out of tighter spots than this," Daisy stated just as Fitz walked up to them, talking about something is urgent.

"You know where my Uncle is?!" Robbie shouted through the module.

"You'll get a fair trial," The new director stated, his face expressionless.

"What about my Uncle?"

"We'll take every appropriate action once we've landed. Turn your plane around. We're going back to H.Q., where these people will be detained and charged."

"There's no way I'm going back to their base. My uncle's in trouble," Robbie told Daisy and then grunted, trying to open the door.

She rolled my eyes at him. "It's called a containment module for a reason, idiot!" She shouted at him, trying to get the information through his thick skull.

"Sir, I don't think you're considering the threat level that these two people represent," she heard Coulson say.

"Securing a known fugitive and a killer is more important than rescuing an escaped convict."

"Yeah, but it's not just Eli Morrow who's in danger. I believe that what Lucy Bauer is trying to achieve could theoretically affect thousands of people."

"Jeffrey, I'd argue that Daisy and Robbie are already secure. We should listen to—"

The new director interrupted Coulson, "It's Director Mace, and I'd be more amenable to your suggestions if you'd been honest with me from the start. But by wasting my time, you've wasted my goodwill. Now turn the plane around and return to H.Q.!"

"I'm not going back to their base!" Robbie punched the door harshly in rage.

"Robbie!" Daisy shouted. "Don't give them more reasons to be afraid of you."

"It's not me they need to be afraid of!" He grunted again as he slammed his body against the door. "It's the other guy... and he wants out!" He continued to punch the door.

"Robbie, stop!"

"What's gonna happen?" Gabe looked up at Daisy, worried.

When she noticed that Robbie was starting to sizzle, she spoke up, "Close your eyes." Robbie then transformed into Ghost Rider and started punching the door even harder. It only took about ten hits before the door burst open. The Ghost Rider and the new director started to fight.

Daisy watched, shock washing over her as she realized that the new director was inhuman. Quickly, coming out of her stupor, she pushed Gabe out of the module. She went to roll him away but he stopped her, putting his hands on the wheels.

"No, I have to see this," he stated, still watching his brother fight the new director.

Coulson tried to intercept but was thrown back.

"Robbie, that's enough! Stop! We'll do what you want! Robbie! No! We'll find your Uncle! Stop!" Coulson shouted but it was barely doing any good.

"Robbie!" Gabe shouted. "Robbie, look at me! Stop! Robbie!" Finally, Robbie stopped and looked to Gabe and Daisy who were staring at him with wide eyes. The fire died down and Robbie was back to himself.

"Get me out of here," Gabe stated and Daisy nodded and rolled him away, sending Robbie one last look before they disappeared around the corner.

"HEY, guys," Daisy spoke through the intercom, interrupting the arguing about Robbie. "I've got some big, fat, disappointing news. I can't hack in and shut down the plant's operating system from here."

"Well, you're out of practice. Too much punching, not enough hacking," Fitz stated, grumbling.

Daisy scoffed. "Very funny. No, I can't hack in because their system isn't on a network. It predates the Internet. Coulson, how did anything ever get done back in the old-timey days?"

"I ask myself that all the time. Okay, you heard Daisy ... we're gonna have to do this from the inside. Fitz and Mack are the engineers. Focus on shutting the power plant down. We'll rescue Eli Morrow."

"Got it," Robbie said.

Daisy started telling them what was going on, "West and down another level to the control room, and not that you care, but the power surges are growing more frequent and more intense."

"You're just full of good news today, aren't you?" Coulson remarked sarcastically.

She smiled lightly. "If it makes you feel any better, I'd rather be there with you than up here on... injured reserve."

Electricity crackled before she couldn't hear them anymore. She grumbled and started typing away at the tablet but nothing was happening. She let out an angered breath before slamming her fist on the desk.

"Coulson? May? Mack? Fitz?" She let out an irritated breath. "Robbie, are you there? Robbie? Is anyone there? Hello?"
