I was as pure as a river but now I think I'm possessed
HIVE and Daisy stood side by side on a hill, staring down at Beacon Hills.
"You came here often. I see why," he commented, glancing at her.
She tilted her head to the side slightly. "I was a different person the last time I was here," she told him, glancing around the woods that surrounded them. "That's how you know about this place, right? 'Cause Ward searched me?"
"You used to walk up here to convince yourself to not runaway from the only home you ever knew," He stated, it wasn't a question or an accusation, he stated the truth. She used to come up here in the middle of the night, a bag made ready to run away, but then she would see the whole town, and change her mind.
Daisy turned to him. "You don't just have his face. You have his memories."
"He was interested in you... Grant Ward."
"Well, I certainly wasn't interested in him, and I'm glad he's dead," she retorted, no guilty thoughts swarming her mind as she relished in the thought of Ward's death.
"He is, too." Daisy tilted her head at his words, "In a way. Grant was a thirsty soul. And he suffered for it."
"You're so different from him..." She whispered, looking Hive up and down. "Just being around you, I can feel it. It's like this emptiness I've always had is gone. The void I felt is all gone and I can't help but be grateful." She walked to her backpack and zipped it up.
"You think they'll come after you?"
"I don't know." She shrugged. "Coulson, he's... A driven man."
Hive smirked. "Especially when it comes to you."
She gave him an annoyed look as she thought of Coulson who treated her like a child. "He thinks I need protecting."
"It's a shame he doesn't know how strong you are, Skye." She cringed at her old name. "But your home is with me now."
"It's actually Daisy." At his face, she continued, "My name is Daisy."
"Grant knew you as—"
Daisy nodded. "Yeah, I changed it. Or I guess you could say I... found it." She looked down, thinking about her parents. The same parents that either died or forgot her. "It was the name they always intended for me."
"Who?"
She looked up, squinting her eyes. "I got so used to being alone. And then my dad made good on his word, and for a second, I had parents. Ones who wanted me. They weren't what I imagined, but they were real. Not some fantasy that I drummed up, you know?"
"But it didn't end well," He realized, looking down at her with soft eyes.
"I just... I don't have parents anymore." She panicked and grabbed her bag, slinging it over her shoulders. "I'm sorry. I don't know why I'm telling you all this."
"Connection." She turned to him, confused. "You and I are one organism now." He stopped walking and placed his hands on her shoulders, "Humans, especially those with war in their hearts, presume I want an army."
She looked up into his eyes, his dark but mezmorizing eyes. "But there's no need for war when everyone shares a common goal."
He smiled. "And after we're finished... there will be no more war. No more pain. Especially now that we're together. It's time we took back this planet. Make it the home Inhumans have always deserved."
She smiled at his words and leaned up against him. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead.
JAMES opened his trailer door and Daisy smirked, looking up at him. "How you been, James?"
He scowled at her. "Oh, you know, just catching up on my soaps. What brings you out here to the middle of nowhere?" He narrowed his eyes at her, "Did you break things up with blondie? You're looking for a lap to cry on?"
"Are you drunk?" She questioned, amused, tilting her head up at him.
"Well, I'm Australian, so yes." He kicked his door open even more, revealing Hive, and he scoffed. "Who's Aladdin?"
She smirked and gestured to Hive. "This is actually the ancient Inhuman you were telling me about. Thought you two should meet." She pushed passed James and made their way into his trailer, looking around for any SHIELD agents. "You're not the first one we've paid a visit to. But don't worry. I didn't forget about you."
He stepped towards her, "Hey, flower, I get that you're attracted to danger. I know the type. But if Jiaying feared this guy, it was probably for a reason."
"James." Hive turned towards him with a calm face. "Daisy showed me the Kree artifact you gave her, and it's missing its companion piece. But you already knew that."
"What?" James' eyes widened, taking a few steps back from Hive. "No, no, no. I ... I gave this chickadee everything. I swear on my nana's life. I-I-I'm not the type to sell you some bill of goods. And that reminds me of a story that I think you'll particularly dig, 'cause it's absolutely—"
Annoyed by his voice, Daisy broke the Terrigen crystal pulled out of the bag, and dropped it by his feet.
"The hell?" He gasped out as he slowly started to turn to stone.
"You talk too much," she stated, watching in satisfaction as he fully turned to stone.
DAISY bursted out of James' trailer, running towards Hive. "James is breaking out of his husk, like, in a really aggressive way."
An explosion came from inside the trailer and seconds later, James came running out of it, his hands glowing red and orange, like fire.
Daisy smiled, finding it awesome.
"Oh, no!" James yelled out, leaning against the railing, groaning and grunting in pain. "What's happening?! Aah! My insides, they're on fire! Oh." He touched something metal, "Oh, crap. I ... I didn't mean to—" It exploded which made him fall back.
"Guess you won't be needing all that C-4 anymore," Daisy mused, smirking.
"My... my hands!" James shouted in pain. "Everything I touch—" Hive held out his hand, the same tan sand like stuff went from his finger tips all the way to James who had calmed down, his hands going back to normal. He looked up at Hive. "Thank you."
"Now... we can't leave here until you give us the missing—"
"I buried it."
Hive turned to Daisy, smirking.
James showed them where he buried it, and Daisy nodded at them, they took a few steps back. She held out her hand to the floor and quaked it. The whole ground shook and rumbled, the wood on the floor started to crumble into pieces, until the only thing that was left, was a gigantic hole in the ground. There laid a big piece of metal.
"So, what is it?"
"The only thing that can destroy me."
DAISY bursted into Dr. Radcliff's secret doctor lair... or whatever you would like to call it, throwing the doors off their hinges with her powers.
She walked up to the woman, punched her in the stomach, and socked her right in the face. Daisy then grabbed her head and snapped her neck, the sickening crunch being heard. She walked over to Radcliff and pushed him over to Alisha who took a hold of him, and left.
"No. Wait..."
She threw out her hand behind her, blasting Fitz back into the wall. "We need to talk," she told him. "I don't have much time."
He panted, standing up. "This isn't you. We can—" She rolled her eyes, holding out her hand, choking him with her powers. "What are you—"
"Stop trying to save me," Daisy spat at him, tilting her head malicioulsy.
"Daisy—"
She put more pressure on his neck, watching him struggle to breathe. "I know what I'm saying. I know what I feel. I finally have a family, Fitz. You don't need to pity me anymore." She smiled. "I don't want anything bad to happen to you." She shook her head. "I swear, but you and Simmons... well, I've seen the future, and someone in S.H.I.E.L.D. is gonna die. And if you love her, you will leave us alone." She glared at him. "It's in your best interest to stay away. We don't want to hurt you... any of you. But we will. This is your last warning. Next time, I snap your neck," she threatened, releasing him from her hold, allowing him to breathe in air.
She looked down at him, smirking before walking away.
JAMES, Alisha, Radcliff, Hive, and Daisy walked down the street like it was just a casual thing.
"You're a difficult man to find, doctor," Hive commented, not even glancing at Radcliff
"You're Inhuman," Radcliff breathed out. "All of you."
Hive smirked. "Well, technically, I'm one of the first genetically altered human beings on the planet. Scientifically, humans have advanced almost to the level the Kree reached when they made me." They stopped walking. "You, doctor, seem to be the closest."
"Very flattering, and I agree. But genome editing ... we've only just begun that kind of DNA modification. To — To make something of your kind, that's..." Radcliff sighed. "We can only... dream."
"You don't need to dream anymore," Hive told him. "We are one organism, seeking change. And with your help, we're going to redefine humanity. Permanently."
"Is that even possible? H-How could you—"
"By re-creating the same Kree experiment that was done to me." Hive looked to Daisy as she stood by his side, smiling. "And this is where it all begins."
James looked to the huge house to his left. "Bought us a house?"
"No. I bought us a whole town."
