May the force be with you

DAISY stood under the shower head, the water that was hitting her back felt like bullets. It was as if everything was finally hitting her all at once.

Why is this so hard all of a sudden?

The thoughts that swirled around her head made her sick. She knew she wasn't doing great, especially after everything went down in Afterlife. God, she can't even remember the last time she felt this bad. She thinks she's finally broken and that scares her so much because her friends need her right now.

It was as if she was screaming but nobody could hear her. There was just so much happening all at once but she can't do shit about it. And because she can't get her act together, everybody that she cares about it bound to get hurt just because she's finally broken.

Her mom is dead, her dad doesn't remember her; she's suppose to be sad. But, she didn't want to be, that's the thing. Her mother deserved what she got, her father is actually content for once, so why is she so sad?

Daisy brought a hand to her mouth as a sob worked it's way up her throat and out of her mouth.

She is so tired of living in a permanent state of anxiety but she can't help it, that's her life now. She had to suck it up and move on, and get through this. She needs to get through this. She has to.

She took in a loud shaky breath before reaching out, turning the knob to the left, and shutting off the water. She grabbed a towel and stepped out of the shower, and looked towards her full length mirror that sat against the wall. She has changed so much from the girl she was before that body hunt in the woods.

"Come on, Skye!" Scott shouted from in the hall. "Hurry up before we're late!"

"It's Daisy, Scott!" She yelled out, her voice was raw, and it cracked. "And I'll be out in fifteen minutes!" She sighed and grabbed her faded jeans, black muscle shirt, the leather jacket she had stole from Lincoln's place, and her combat boots. She brushed out all the knots that were in her hair, applied a little bit of mascara and lip gloss before nodding at herself in the mirror. "Okay!" She shouted before exiting the bathroom.

"Finally," Scott groaned from where he leaned up against the wall. "Stiles is outside, he's been honking for the past ten minutes."

"Well, then," she gripped Scott's wrist, "We better not keep him waiting any longer."

"HAPPY birthday," Daisy spoke in boredom as soon as Lydia opened the door. "Thanks for inviting me." She took a glass of what looked like pink punch before walking passed her, and towards the backyard.

"Sk — Daisy..." The girl in question looked to her right as Allison approached her. "I know we've barely talked and I — I kinda think that you hate me." She started fiddling with her fingers, looking up at Daisy with innocent doe like eyes.

"I don't hate you," Daisy admitted, sighing.

"It kinda seemed like you did back in the school... when Peter was after us," She told the older girl, shyly tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Oh." Daisy turned to fully face her. "At that time, I didn't know what I was, who I was, what I was capable of. And Scott was a werewolf, so atop of trying to find out about me, I had to help him with his problems as well." She gulped down the pink punch, laid the glass down on the table beside them before putting all her attention onto Allison, again.

"Then, the whole Peter thing happened." Daisy made a wild gesture with her hand. "And being in the same room as Jackass and Lydia was tough for me, and you kept asking questions that drove me fucking crazy." They both chuckled lightly. "But, no, Allison, I do not hate you." She placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Oh, thank God." She smiled widely at her. ""Um, it would've been real awkward because of Scott and I..." she trailed off, throwing a thumb over her shoulder, gesturing to Scott who was looking at them with a small smile.

"Yeah." Daisy nodded, feeling a little light headed.

"You okay?" Allison reached out with both hands to steady her.

"Yeah..." Daisy trailed off before chuckling. "The drink must've been spiked."

"Yeah..." Allison trailed off, furrowing her eyebrows in worry.

"I'm gonna get some air," she announced, stumbling a little as she backed away from Allison.

"But we're outside..."

Daisy ignored Allison as she stumbled into the house, her hands grazing the walls as she went, stumbling into people every once in a while.

"Mhmm," She groaned as she was suddenly pushed to the floor.

"Mary." Daisy looked up abruptly, coming face to face with someone she hasn't seen in years. A face she thought she would never see again. "Skye or... Daisy? Which one do you go by now?"

"Emma?" She blurted out, pulling herself onto her feet to stare at the blonde girl in the eyes. "Wha — how — how are you standing here right now?"

"Magic." Emma grinned, a grin Daisy never saw on her face before. This grin was evil. Daisy could feel the bad aura surrounding her. It was so strong that it reached out towards her, and she felt like she was being suffocated.

"Emma," she gasped as she fell to her knees, her hands flying up to her throat. "St —stop. Please," she begged, tears coming to her eyes as she felt that familiar weight on her chest; it reminded her of when her own mother almost killed her.

"Skye." A figure came up behind Emma as Daisy was finally released and able to breath again. "Hello, my sweet daughter." She jumped back as a hand touched her cheek. Her blotched eyes widened as she looked up to see her mother standing there, a disappointed look on her face. "How sad." She clicked her tongue before bending down to Daisy's height. "And pathetic," she sneered, slapping her so hard that she fell to the floor.

"Stop," Daisy begged as she felt the familiar tingles in the tip of her fingers. Her powers wanted to be released but she was trying to hold back.

"You are such an disappointed to what I had imagined my daughter to be." She threw out her hands and gripped Daisy's face, bringing her into a standing position. "I thought my daughter as brave, strong, and smart but you're none of those. You are such a disappointment to this family."

"Family?" Daisy spat, gripping her wrists tightly. "Family doesn't try to kill each other!" She shouted; the room started to shake. She was losing control.

"I guess it's a good thing you aren't family anymore," Emma sneered, a smirk on her face as she glanced at Jiaying.

"I've replaced you, Skye," Jiaying spoke, her eyes full of hate when she looked at her, but full of love when she looked at Emma. "Emma is such a better daughter than you would ever be." Daisy felt her lungs start to constrict due to her life being sucked out of her. Her knees started to buckle but she tried her best to stay standing, trying to fight against her hold. "And they will replace you one day as well."

"Wh — what?" Se sputtered out, gripped Jiaying's wrists.

"Melissa, Scott, Stiles." Daisy looked up into Jiaying's eyes. "They will all replace you one day." She shook her head in denial as she started to use her quake powers, trying to rattle her insides, but it seemed to be doing nothing. "Hell, even Coulson will." Tears started to slide down Daisy's cheeks as she finally dropped to her knees. She was too weak to fight anymore. "They will all find someone better to replace you because you're replaceable, Skye."

Even though all she wanted to give up, a voice in the back of her head kept telling her to fight. And somehow, that voice sounded like Coulson's.

"It's Daisy!" She sneered, pushing herself onto her feet, and went to lung at Jiaying, but she and Emma had just disappeared out of thin air. She fell to the floor in shock, her tear stained face looked up to see Scott, Stiles, and Allison above her with worried looks, and empty cups.

"Oh, thank God!" Stiles exclaimed as Allison bent down, grabbed Daisy's face in her hands, and looked her in the eyes. "I thought you were about to tear Lydia's house apart."

"Stiled!" Allison and Scott snapped in sync. "Can't you see that she is hurting."

"Oh, right...." Stiles trailed off, looking down at Daisy in worry. "What happened?"

Daisy shook her head, laying her head on Allison's chest. She was exhausted. "Just some unfinished business."

Okay, so that we're clear, Emma was a foster child as well, and those who have watched OUAT should know that my Emma is based off of Emma Swan. I got that idea from a video I watched. It's actually really sad, just warning you just in case you want to watch it.
