Marinette was simply watching the manta ray migration in the open of the ocean. She was still thinking about the missing prince and wondering where he is. Prince Felix is not fit to be king but she knows he hates royalty. He rather is a lower profile than rule while Adrien just wants to be free than be forced to do whatever he's told.

"If only I knew this Adrien more in person" Marinette swims on her back.

While she did so she had her hands behind her head while as she watched the manta rays.

She sees Cat Noir playing with them like a cat wanting to catch fish, "Oh hey there Cat Noir!" She calls out for him.

"Princess!" He swims down to her.

"Enjoying the manta pack?" Marinette asked him.

"Of course, who wouldn't love these creatures?" Cat Noir replied.

"And I thought cats eat fish" Marinette chuckled.

"Not that type of fish," Cat Noir said.

"I get it, Noir" Marinette scratched his chin.

"Puuuurrrrrrrr" He purred with his eyes closed, "I love being petted by you, princess"

"You're so funny," Marinette said.

"I truly mean it, princess" He nuzzled her hand.

"I know" Marinette swam with him.

"You think this kitty is lying?" Cat Noir flirted.

"Not at all, kitty cat," Marinette said.

"You know I'm a good kitty" Cat Noir purred in her neck.

"Yeah," Marinette giggled and they swam near a shipwreck.

"Ah, home sweet home" Cat Noir swims to his lair.

"Still looks fresh." Marinette joined him.

"That's why I'm a very wild catfish," Cat Noir said.

"Without long whiskers" Marinette teased.

"But I got claws in my paws" Cat Noir smirked.

"Of course" Marinette puts on a tiara from a treasure chest.

"Meow, I always told you that you look lovely like a princess" Cat Noir purred.

"And you're the king of cats" Marinette swished her tailfins.

"A wild king, my lovely queen" Cat Noir kissed her hand.

Marinette giggled at how charming he is, "You don't get tired of being charming, do you?"

"Nope, not a bit," Cat Noir said.

"One day it will bore your nine lives" Marinette puts the tiara aside.

"Purrhaps" Cat Noir gently touched her pigtails.

"What are you doing?" Marinette asked.

"Just admiring you, Princess" Cat Noir said.

"Good kitty" Marinette scratched his chin.

"Hehehehe....meow" Cat Noir chuckled.

"Is that my good kitty?" Marinette asked.

"Yeaaaaah" Cat Noir purrs.

"I hope Adrien returns one day" Marinette sighs.

"He will, princess. He just needs more time to face his father" Cat Noir said.

"I hope so," Marinette said.

"Anyways, I gotta meet up with Milady. There's something I gotta show her" Cat Noir said.

"Okay. See you later" Marinette swam off to transform.

Cat Noir then goes to find Ladybug. As much as he loves swimming with fish, he needed to show her what he found.

"Hey there Cat Noir" Ladybug arrived.

"Milady!" Cat Noir swims up to her.

"Missed me, Kitty?" Ladybug asked.

"Very badly, my lovely lady" Cat Noir purred.

"Knew it," Ladybug said.

"You know it's true. My lovely lady is growing claws" Cat Noir flirted.

"Kitty, focus" Ladybug rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, follow me" Cat Noir took her hand and brought her to a cavern to show her something.

"Kitty, what is it?" She asked.

"It's a surprise" Cat Noir replied and swam towards a rock with a shiny object on.

It was a golden shiny crown standing there, "Wow, it's beautiful" Marinette said.

"Yeah. Only the true pure-hearted soul can touch it. It's best if we don't touch it. It's made from Poseidon" Cat Noir said.

"Interesting" Ladybug looks closer.

"Well maybe one day the rightful one will wear it," Ladybug said.

"It could be that prince charming we all know," Cat Noir said.

"Maybe" Ladybug replied.

At the palace, Felix was trying to think of a plan to find his cousin because he is the only one that can stop King Gabriel from abusing his power.

"There has to be some way to find him after all these years. Unless I go for a swim in the reef to find him" He strokes his chin thinking.

Then it clicked him. No one goes to the wreck ships.

"I better go search there" He made his decision and grabs a blue cloak with male peacock eye feather patterns to not get too much attention from the people.

"I hope I'm wrong" He swims out the window and got away as far as possible to find the shipyard.

Once there he swam over an old British galleon ship. He spots Adrien taking a nap on an old bed.

"There you are." He swims up to him, "Wake up!" He shouted.

"WHOA! Felix?!" Adrien woke up.

"How could you foolishly swim away from your royalty?!" Felix asked angrily.

"I'm sick and tired of our king's rules!" Adrien replied,

"And you know he's forcing me to take his place and when that happens, he will use me to ensure all merpeople follow the laws of the kingdom!" Felix glared.

"What do you want me to do, cuz? He's too strong and I'm too young and weak to stand up to him. Ever since my mother died, he changed into a cruel merman" Adrien swims up to the deck of the wrecked ship.

"You could have just changed the laws as king" Felix crossed his arms.

"I would have but my father is still wearing the crown, Felix! My mother respected my life but my father did not! I never had a normal life like everyone else!" Adrien argued.

"Many thought you were dead" Felix pointed out.

"Missing, Felix. There's a big difference" Adrien gathers kelp and swims to the small geyser to cook.

"Well, many say that. While Ladybug and Cat Noir keep the kingdom safe" Felix sat on a rock.

"Yeah, I've seen them do their heroic duties. I know why you're here, Felix, and the answer is no. I can't face him again. What he did was unforgivable" Adrien did not want to remember the only friend he ever had.

Adrien loved to explore outside the kingdom and he loved spending some time with his dolphin friend which gave him happiness.

"Here boy, come here!" He called for his dolphin.

The dolphin swam up to him and nuzzled against Adrien.

"Good boy" Adrien giggled.

The dolphin made some clicking laughter.

But of course, it didn't last long when the royal guards were ordered by his father to send the dolphin far away to never return. It made the poor prince depressed that he was all alone again.

"But father! He was my friend!" He tried to protest.

"Silence! You are a prince and you have no time to be playing with animals out there! You have a duty to be king as I tell you to!" Gabriel said sternly.

"But he did nothing wrong! Dolphins are very smart and have feelings!" Adrien yelled.

"Don't you dare talk back at me like that, boy!" Gabriel yelled back.

"You are ruining my life, father! He was the only friend I ever had!" Adrien angrily sobs.

He swats his tailfin at his father in anger, swimming away. And from then on, Adrien went missing for days and Gabriel was furious that he was gone.

(End of flashback)

"He saw friendship as a bad influence on me but that was the last straw," Adrien said.

"What the hell?" Felix exclaimed.

"Yes, he just wanted to isolate me completely," Adrien said.

"He told me you went missing but he never said about why you left," Felix said.

Adrien finished cooking kelp and gave one to him, "Eat up, you need your strength" Adrien said and munched his own.

"Seriously, cousin" Felix eats up, "You can't hide forever. The people need you. I can't be a king like this. The coronation is at the end of the month"

"So I've heard," Adrien said.

"When will you ever find your badass side? Gabriel will one day destroy the kingdom out of madness because he lost your mom" Felix said.

"He wouldn't dare!" Adrien gasps.

"You do know he grieved way too much for the loss of your mom. Look what it made him become" Felix said.

"I know that but he ruined my life. If I go back, I'll be vulnerable like a fish being eaten by sharks" Adrien said.

"Come on Adrien, grow a spine" Felix replied.

"I am but for 3 years I am enjoying my new life in the wild," Adrien said.

"And you still have your royalty title" Felix rolled his eyes.

"Yes, as crown prince" Adrien nodded.

"And as a prince, you still have your badass manners," Felix said.

Adrien sighs and lost his appetite as he pushed the kelp aside, "I'll think about it. I just need more time, cuz"

"I'll see how long I can hold out," Felix said.

With Marinette, she was swimming on her own at the reef until she came over a trench.

"Whoa!" She saw how deep it is.

Rumors say there is a Kraken in there and no one lived to tell the tale. So she decided to let it be by swimming away.
