laying on my bed at night with sleep knocking at the back of my head,
i stared into the void darkness with blurry eyes,
insecurity building inside me, with my mind injecting painful thoughts.

a voice rang in my head,
loud as a siren, it yelled out to me,
that i'm nothing special,
good for no one, and just a time-pass for others.
that no one loves me and whatever they show is just for the time being, and it will fade away in a few.
that no one sees me the way i see them and at the end of it all,
i'm just a temporary pleasure, for them to use and throw away.

and just as i started to believe the voice, with tears rolling down my cheeks,
a little angel came by and whispered,

"darling, you're all you need... and there is a person in a corner of this universe, who would end the world for you..."

my insecurities lost again, with me believing the angel.
and with a little smile and a tiny ray of hope, i let darkness invade my vision.
