Hello, everyone! Welcome!

Poetry has been my passion since I was a child. But through the years, I lost touch with the art among the packed schedules and the insane amount of extra activities I chose to do.

Even though I have been on Wattpad for (4!) years, I never took it upon myself to look for poetry. The first book I stumbled upon (I don't quite remember how but it happened only this year) reignited a spark and put a little voice in my head saying you know, maybe you should write something again... But I kept putting it off, like the excellent procrastinator I am.

But soon, I found a reason to put some effort and write a poem: a wonderful competition, with an intriguing theme and description. So, I wrote "Queen of the Skies". But it needed a home on Wattpad, and I didn't have a poetry book published.

Thus, Meraki was born.

And so, I dedicate this book, first and foremost, to the reason for its creation, the host of that wonderful contest
