Baar Kata shook Meracuchi awake. "Up, up!" She said, demanding her conciousness. Merauchi grumbled something, and woke up, yawning. "What..... Why? Are Sith attacking?" She said, eyes bleary from sleep.

Baar Kata rolled her eyes. "Wake up. Don't you remember what we're doing today?" Merauchi yawned. "No." Baar Kata facepalmed. "The Jedi Knights and council members are going to meet us today, to consider possible Padawans!" She said, excited. Meracuchi looked at her. "Yay. Forgive my grouchiness, but I'm a bit sleep deprived." She muttered. It had been three years since the small assessment, and Meracuchi was now ten years old. Not that it meant that much, except she was a few years closer to possibly being a Padawan.

"Oh, come on already!" Baar Kata said, shaking her friend. Meracuchi sleepily swatted at her friend, lost her balance, and fell off the top bunk. "OWW!" She hissed under her breath. "Well, your up now!" Baar Kata said triumphantly.

The younglings formed an orderly line, and in walked the Jedi. The room was silent, until a few Jedi kneeled down to converse with the younglings. Baar Kata was a few spots away from her, and already had drawn the attention of a healer.

Mason was talking with a serious looking Jedi. Meracuchi saw Yoda himself walk up to her. "Hmm. Feisty young one we are, hehe." He poked her with his cane. "Very first, yes. Perhaps, a rebellious master you need, hmmmm?" Meracuchi did not say anything, and merely nodded.

Yoda left to go talk with a light green Twi'lek, who nodded at what Yoda was saying. Then she came over to Meracuchi. "I heard your the stubborn one." The Twi'lek said, kneeling down so she could talk at eye level.

The Twi'lek leaned in closed, "I'll let you in on a little secret. I'm a stubborn one too. It's one of the reasons I'm not on the council." She smiled a bit at Meracuchi, and patted her shoulder. "We'll see about you."
Meracuchi was filled with pure joy, as the Jedi walked away. *She's just like me!*

Back in the younglings shared room, there was no peace. There wasn't one silent youngling, they were all excited. "I think that one healer liked me! What about you?" Baar Kata asked her friend. Meracuchi looked at her friend with excitement clearly displayed on her features. "There was a Twi'lek Jedi who seemed interested in me." She admitted.

Baar Kata nodded. "Well, we'll see eventually won't we?"

Meracuchi nodded.

A/N: This entire "meet-n-greet" is made purely from my imagination, I needed some interaction with certain characters, and this is what I came up with.
