There was a knock on the window glass. Sana sat up straight in the driving seat and looked at the window. It was a police constable.

They looked at each other feeling scared. She lowered her window glass as she gulped.

Constable: Kai chale itte? Hech karaila yeta tumhi itte? {What's going on here? Do y'all come here to do such things?}

Sana: S.. sorry Sir!

Constable: Sorry? Weren't y'all ashamed to do such things on the road? Now why are y'all being sorry? Come out of the car you two..

They get down from the car.

Sidharth: We are married couple, Sir.

Constable: Don't fool me. You two look too young to be married.

Sana: No! Seriously, we are married. See this.

She opens her gallery and shows him the picture of marriage certificate. Constables looks at it.

Constable: So? Does that give you license to do such things in public places? Don't y'all have your house to do this? Come now, I'll take you both to your in-laws house, the lockup.

Sana: But it was just a kiss.. (turns to Sidharth) tell him na.. It's all because of you. If you hadn't been angry, we wouldn't have been standing here?

Sidharth: Are you nuts? Did I ask you to kiss? I told you to drive home.

Constable: Arey arey..

Sana: One minute! (Shows palm to constable and turns to Sidharth) Yeah, my fault! That shameless Suraj he self invited to spoil our date, that's my fault? When I denied him the lift politely, you were the one who agreed to it.

Sidharth: Oh!! I broke my friendship with Monica, to support you but you prioritized Suraj over me? You can disrespect my friends but can't say anything to your friends.

Constable: Hello.. hold on..

Sana: You please hold on.. (back to Sidharth) Did Suraj touch me even once? He was polite enough to stand away while speaking. Your Monica was leaning over you. If I had to not interrupt then she would have jumped into your lap as well. And you have so much regrets breaking friendship with her then go back and talk to her.

Sidharth: So that you get chance to speak to Suraj?

Sana: What? I'll break your jaw now..

Sidharth: Try touching.. Constable Sir will hang you! Isn't it Sir?

Constable: Huh?

Sana: I will ask his wife if I was incorrect.

Sidharth: Yeah, you can't manage your home and you want to break his relationship now?

Sana: I am sure he is much nicer person than you are. Isn't it Sir?

Sidharth: For you everyone is saint than your own husband!

Constable goes and stands between the two.

Constable: Shut up you two else I'll push this latti in your mouth. Do you have sense? Husband and wife should love and support each other. But you two are fighting like cats and dogs. Can't y'all stay lovingly?

Sana: That's what I was doing few minutes back when you interrupted. I retaliated with love to calm him down else this would have turned into a fight before.

Constable: (clears his throat) Okay fine, I am allowing y'all to go this time but on two conditions - one no fighting and second no romancing in public. Do whatever you want at home.

Sana: Okay Sir! You are so sweet!

Sidharth: Enough! Let's go home else he will send us to lockup. Thank you Sir, we will keep the two conditions in our mind and follow it for sure.

They both get into the car and Sana starts driving in silence. They reach home quietly. Once they enter the room, they both look at each other and burst out laughing.

Sidharth: See Constable said to romance at home!

Sana: When did he say that? He said not to romance in public.

Sidharth: So? It means romance at home.

Sana: No! It doesn't!

Sidharth: Wait, I'll go and ask him and come. (Turns back to leave)

Sana holds his hands and pull him. Sidharth gets happy that he would get to romance his wife.

Sana: Wait, I'll book a cab for you. You can't walk so far, will you?

Sidharth: (frowns) Idiot!

Sana: Dumbo

Sidharth: Fool

Sana: Sweetheart (softly)

Sidharth: Darling

Sana: Love you!!

Sidharth: I love you too!!

They hug each other.

Sana: Siddu, imagine what would have happened if we had been really put in lockup.

Sidharth: Hmm..

Sana: What?

Sidharth: Nothing! You said to imagine, so I was imagining..

Sana laughs punching on his chest.

Sana: I am not going to kiss you again.

Sidharth: Huh? Fine!! I'll marry someone else who will kiss me and also make love to me.

Sana: (pushes him away) I will kill you if you do that even in your dreams.

Sidharth: Oh! That means you can kill me but not kiss me. You can go to jail but not make love to me. Is it?

Sana: I meant that I will not kiss you in public duffer! Now lets go to sleep. We have to go to office tomorrow.

Sidharth: Hello? Do you think I am a fool? It's Friday evening, it's weekend tomorrow and I ain't going to allow you to sleep until I get some love from you.

Sana: (holds his collar and pulls him close) Then let's get into action before I doze off.

Sana: Wake up Mr. Kumbhakarn! It's 11am.

Sidharth: Let me sleep dear. I am exhausted from all the action last night.

Sana: Shut up and get up quickly. I need you to learn driving today. I gifted you the car so that you can go to office in it. I don't like to see you struggle in bus everyday. Last month you came home late 3 days just because you couldn't board the bus since it was crowded.

Sidharth: Okay boss!! Don't shout!! I am getting up!

They both have breakfast and then Sana gives him driving lesson.

Sidharth: Sana I filled up a form from RTO but it will take a month to get a new driving license after the test. Will have to manage with our status quo for another month atleast.

Sana: I didn't know that you didn't have a four wheeler license. Wait a minute!

She browses online for a minute.

Sana: Look here Siddu, you can do car pooling with someone. Saves money, energy and time. They have a website too.

Sidharth: You are smarter than I thought you were! (He teases her)

Sana: I was always smarter than you. Don't you remember, you copied answers from me during exams?

Sidharth: (Laughs) You know Sana, I had this problem that I couldn't breath without talking for you for long time. Though I knew the answers, I still asked you for help.

Sana: Oh God! That's how you got rank in 10th and I was so dumb that I didn't realise it at all till today. You loved me so much Siddu?

Sidharth: I still do!!

Sana: Wow! If at all I had realized that I loved you too then our lives would have been so different.

Sidharth: Yes, probably, I would have never come to Mumbai for studies. We would have been in same junior college and taken same course later.

Sana: We would have stayed back with our parents

Sidharth: and wouldn't have been married so soon.

Sana: God!! It's so different from reality!!

Sidharth: Destiny had the best for us. I am loving our present more. Else imagine how much we would have missed spending time like this until we married each other.

Sana: Siddu, do you think we should visit our home once? I am missing them all.

Sidharth: Hmmm.. Next month we have a long weekend holiday and by then I will have my license as well. We'll go on our car!

Sana: Superb idea! But, what about people? Nobody in our hometown knows that we are married.

Sidharth: Will see about it later.
