Sidharth and Sana reach the marriage registrar's office early morning even before it opened. They filled in the form and submitted it to the registrar along with all the necessary documents. The registrar asked them certain questions and than asked them to sign the marriage registration document. They got their certificate by noon.

Sidharth immediately called the broker and they made an rental agreement on that day itself. They both paid the deposit amount.

Sidharth: Sana I think we should shift tomorrow itself because if we don't then we will be paying dual rent for the PG and the apartment.

Sana: Yes, I agree but we need to buy lots of things before we shift. And Siddu.. I.. I..

Sidharth: What?

Sana: I don't know cooking. Mumma did all the cooking, I only did chopping and grating occasionally. (Makes a puppy face)

Sidharth: Don't worry, I know how to cook a bit.

Sana: Do you really know how to cook? (Shocked)

Sidharth: I said little bit. Don't expect 5 star food!

Sana: 3 star?

Sidharth: No

Sana: 2 Star?

Sidharth: No

Sana: 1 star?

Sidharth: Hmm.. may be!! (Laughed)

Sana: Don't worry, I'll manage... To eat!! (Teases him with her tongue out)

Sidharth: VeDi {Mad}

Sana: GaaDav {Donkey}

Sidharth: Gapp, nai tar jevan nahi baNawnaar {Keep Quite, Else I won't cook}

Sana: Sowiee!! (Held her ears)

He slaps her softly on her head.

Sidharth: Let's list out things we need urgently. A cooking gas, some utensils.. hmm.. fridge?

Sana: For now let's manage buying fresh veggies everyday, will buy fridge after we get our first salary..

Sidharth: Hmm.. washing machine

Sana: I'll wash them with hands until we get salary..

Sidharth: Furnitures we can buy slowly.. we need bed.

Sana: Yeah, 2 beds! One for you and one for me.

Sidharth: Yeah right, but there is only one room, how do we fit 2 beds inside.

Sana: Will check that in the store.

The next morning, they both vacate their PG and Hostel and shift their luggage to the new house. Later they go for shopping.

They buy all the kitchen items first along with vegetables and groceries. Later they go to the bedding store.

Sana: Siddu, we don't have much money left, we can't spend money on bed frame, will just buy mattress.

Sidharth: Yeah, I didn't think that our money will deplete so quickly with kitchen items itself.

They check the mattress prices.

Sana: Siddu buying 2 single mattress is costlier, will have to go for 1 double bed mattress. Else we won't be left with money for the whole month grocery and transport expenses.

Sidharth: I'll buy a mat for myself, you can sleep on mattress.

Sana: No, it's okay we can share the bed.

Sidharth: Are you sure? Else I can even buy some newspapers incase you change your mind, otherwise I'll end up on the floor.

Sana: Hush!! Hurry up, I'm hungry! We need to go home and cook.

Sidharth: We? Say 'You' need to cook!

Sana: (makes a pout) okay, you need to cook.

They order a double bed mattress and asked for a delivery at their address. They reached home and set for cooking. Sana did the chopping. As she was cutting the tomatoes, she cut her finger.

Sana: Ouch!!

Sidharth: What happened?

Sana: I cut my finger.

He ran towards her, the blood was oozing out of the wound. He ran to the room and got the first aid kit. As he did bandaging, he started scolding her.

Sidharth: Where was your mind? Can't you be bit careful while doing your work? Now see you'll have to suffer for few days with this. You are an absolute idiot!

Sana: Siddu, why are you scolding me? I already got a cut, it's enough. I learnt a lesson.

Sidharth: God knows, if you learnt or not!

Sidharth resumed with cooking, while she chopped the remaining vegetables.

Sidharth: Ouch!!

Sana: What happened?

Sidharth: I burnt my hand!

Sana: Oh God!

She ran and got cold water and dipped his hand in it. She then applied burnol on it.

Sana: Where was your mind? Can't you be bit careful while doing your work? Now see you'll have to suffer for few days with this. You are an absolute idiot!

They both bursted laughing forgetting their pain.

Sana: Wow! Siddu, this is really tasty. You can open a restaurant.

Sidharth: Stop praising, I know it's bit spicy and has lesser salt. Take eat some sugar.

Sana: What to do, I am scared of telling truth! What if you go on strike, I will have to eat raw vegetables.

Sidharth: How mean? (Pulls her hair)

Sana: Aaaa.. Devil..

Sidharth: Witch!!

Sana: Hey, we forgot to buy a broom!!

Sidharth: Oh God! How are you going to fly at night now?

Sana: Shut up! We need to buy it.

Sidharth: I am exhausted! Will buy it tomorrow. I am waiting for the mattress to arrive.

Sana: Me too..

The mattress was delivered in the evening. It wasn't a queen size or king size so the space was lesser. They hesitantly slept on the two extreme edge of their mattress facing their backs to each other.

Sidharth thinks
I had buried all my emotions for her while I was here in Mumbai. But I never knew my one single visit to home would change so many things in my life. I feel guilty for everytime I felt bad when I dropped Sana till the cross roads to go with Dada on a date. I secretly envied dada for having Sana in his life as she had been my best friend since we were babies.

I feel, may be my envy took away my dada. Today I am married to her traditionally and legally both, she is my wife. My dream to spend life with her has come true but it's not by earning her love. It's just her helplessness. Though she is my wife I think we will remain as friends only.

The next day, while Sidharth stepped out to run an errand, Sana takes a stroll in the society. She meets a lady who introduces herself as Renuka Rane.

RR: What is your flat number?

Sana: 302

RR: B wing?

Sana: C wing.

RR: What? You seem to be very brave lady. Aren't you scared?

Sana: (Confused) Of what?

RR: Don't you know?

Sana: What?

RR: On the same floor, Flat no. 304, a lady hanged herself 6 months ago. Hence the entire floor is vacant. Didn't the broker tell you about this?

Sana: No!

RR: They say there are some paranormal activity on that floor.

Sana was already sweating. Renuka excused herself and went home. Sana waited for Sidharth to return near the gate, as soon as he came she went and held his arm. Sidharth looked at her in surprise and found her sweating and scared.

Sidharth: What happened to you? Why are you looking so pale?

Sana: Siddu.. I met a lady from other wing. She said that.. that there is some paranormal activity on our floor since a lady committed suicide there. Siddu, I am scared, please Siddu talk to the broker, will change the house.

Sidharth: Sana, calm down. We stayed in that flat for whole day yesterday, did something happen?

Sana: No

Sidharth: Then, why are you believing the rumors? I stayed in a hostel room for two years where one student had committed suicide, did anything happened to me? No na? So, stop getting scared.

Sana: But..

Sidharth: Sana, some real estate agencies do this to lower the house price since people don't stay on rent, the owners sell them at dirt cheap prices.

Sana: Okay, you know this, the real estate agencies know that it is not true but how will the ghost know it?

Sidharth: What? What are you talking Sana? Come lets go home.

Sana: I am not coming. No no no.

Sidharth lifts her up in bridal style and starts walking. Sana was shocked at his action.

Sana: Siddu, Stop! I said I am not coming.

Sidharth: Don't come. I am taking you with me.

Sana: Siddu, I will scream and people will hit you for forcing me.

Sidharth: Scream!!

Sana: Don't be so adamant Siddu. You are taking undue advantage of my innocence.

Sidharth: Hello, You are my wife, yet I haven't done anything hanky panky with you. How am I taking undue advantage?

Sana: Hanky Panky!! (Laughs) You know I learnt karate in these 6 years when you were not there?

Sidharth: Are you going to try karate on me?

Sana kept quiet.

Sidharth: Answer me, are you going to try karate on me?

He gazed into her eyes and for the first time she felt an unknown shiver run through her whole body. She had no answer for his question. She lowered her eyes and the moment she closed her eyes, the sense of touch became stronger.

She felt his huge heaving chest touching the right side of her breast, his biceps cushioning her back, his right hands were holding her tighs and his left hands griped under her left arm, she snanked her hands around his neck. As he walked, his heavy breath kissed her face and her nose took in all the sweet smell of his sweat.

For the first time, she wasn't feeling like he was her best friend only. It was an alien feeling, which she didn't get even with Shivam.

She returned to her senses when he put her down. She looked around and found herself standing at the door of her flat. She opened the door and silently went inside. Her mind was still reminiscing his touch and she was blushing unknowingly.

Sidharth: Sana, amidst all this we forgot one thing.

Sana: Hmmm.. Huh? What?

Sidharth: How are you going to office tomorrow alone? We had planned earlier that you will be going with Deepali.

Sana: Deepali? You mean Deepti.

Sidharth: Yeah! Whatever. Don't show so much affection with her name. You call me Siddu. Show some affection for me.

Sana teases him.

Sidharth: For tomorrow, will start early, I will come with you then once I drop you, I'll go to my office.

Sana: No need Siddu. If you give me instructions, then I'll go on my own.

Sidharth: Okay fine!

That night she slept closer to him since she was scared of ghosts. Sidharth had a different kind of happiness to see her close.
