Phil yawned as he sat up, and ended up in a coughing fit as the smoke from the fire entered his lungs. He rubbed his eyes to try and clear the burning sensation from them. Panic started to rise in his chest as the thought of a sudden forest fire springing up on them popped into his head.

"Hey dad!" Colin's cheery voice rang out "Jonas and I brought back more firewood"

Phil cleared his eyes well enough to see that, in fact, Colin and Jonas were indeed back with wood and a large fire was blazing where the one from last night had been. Phil's eyes widen as he stood up.

"We need to put that out" Phil said watching the black smoke rise higher in the sky. His eyes were wide with fear.

"Why?" Jonas looked at him confused "We just put breakfast on. And it's getting colder the closer we get to the mountains"

Phil was looking around desperately by now. "You don't understand. Anyone will be able to see the smoke!" He said, practically yelling. But his worst fears were finally starting to be realized. The sound of wing beats raced from overhead.

"Run!" He shouted, but his voice was drowned out by the wind.

Jonas took a step back, dropping the wood he was carrying. He stared up, covering his eyes from the dust and debris being stirred up around them, and watched as Endra landed in front of them. Her massive foot stomping out the fire into nothing but smoldering ash. That too was sent up into the air around them. Colin started to cough violently from the smoke.

"Phil, Jonas and Colin" Kye said as she slid off Endra's back "You are under arrest for treason, conspiracy, evading the law, and kidnapping. Anything you say can and will be used against you and your rights to freedom have been waved until you are proven innocent. Until such time, you will be escorted back to the Fox kingdom where you will be held"

They stared back confused and terrified into silence, which was only broken as Colin started to sob.

Crystal looked around in awe at the underground bunker. It easily fit the hundreds of workers she had already seen, and from what she heard there were many more all over.

"My dad designed this place" Josie smiled proudly "To help with the fight against squids"

Crystal rolled her eyes. There was that 'fighting the squids thing' again. What was with everyone and hating squids? She shrugged it off and kept walking with the group.

"Why're they fighting the squids?" She asked. Josie looked over shocked.

"What do you mean why are they fighting them? Squids are evil!" she replied, her already high pitched voice going higher. Crystal grit her teeth from the sound.

"I just mean- not all of them are bad, you know?" Crystal replied. The group stopped to look back at her.

Leroy burst out laughing. "You almost had us there for a moment Min" He chuckled. Shaking his head, he continued down the hall and stopped outside a set of large, oak doors.

"Min?" Crystal raised an eyebrow. Why were these people so weird?

"Yea, that's you" Josie said, jumping up behind her. "or at least now it is. You changed your name"

"sounds like you changed my name" Crystal muttered.

The chamber shook around them. Bits and pieces of dirt rained down around them from the unfinished ceiling. Crystal looked up at it nervously, fearing the ceiling would cave in on them.

"They're here!" Connie beamed. Without anymore explanation, she ran down the corridor and ran off quickly. The others grinned and ran after, leaving Crystal on her own.

Crystal sighed and walked off. The tunnels got less busy as she moved through them until there was barely a soul in sight.

There she goes again

Crystal stopped dead in her tracks. "Who's there?" She asked, looking around.

Wait, she can still hear us?

I told you to watch what you say!

Crystal spun in a circle but there was no one there.

"Where are you!?" she yelled.

NO where and everywhere~

Stop trying to be mysterious, she already knows us

Don't you remember anything? She had her memory wiped

... oh, right.

Honestly, even without a skull you're so thick headed

Hey! At least I wasn't insulting people who could possibly hear us.

Crystal groaned and dropped to her knees. Her head was pounding as if the whole cavern had collapsed on her.

Oh no

Aaaaannd there she goes. I wonder how long it'll take them to find her

Don't be mean!

The voices started growing dimmer as her vision started going black. In moments, she was unconscious.

A/N Hello Foxes! I am not dead and neither have I given up on this book! Now, I know you're kinda mad I left this off for so long. But I've got a really good excuse, I was pretty sick for a while and just got caught up enough I could finish this chapter.

Also, Happy Halloween! Have a great and safe time cause I can't find anything else to say right now! (I am very tired right now too. Work is hard)
