The freezy breeze was blowing towards a particular direction indicating it to be the season of snow, winters! The chirping birds and the sound of the leaves of the trees blowing due to the wind, resulted in the shattering of the peaceful sleep of a very beautiful couple, our very own ParKha. They were sleeping soulfully into each other's embrace inside a thin tent all naked and just covered by a white sheet.

Param and Barkha, who have been dating for 5 years now are on a romantic trip to one of the highest mountains. These two idiots are madly in love with each other and are hopelessly romantic. They can go to any extent for each other.

Right now, they were sleeping in each other's arms and are experiencing the most peaceful experience. Being on a trip with your partner and that too on a hill top, is just apt!

Due to the winds and the noise made by the leaves, Param woke up and saw the most beautiful scene he could ever see. His ladylove sleeping beside him and snoring sweetly. She was snuggling continuously into his forearm as the cold breeze made her have goosebumps on her naked body. Param understood it and made her wear clothes and dressed himself too.

After a while, Barkha too woke up and surprisingly, she didn't found Param beside her. But smiled looking at herself who is now in clothes. She came out of the tent in search of Param covering herself with something warm.

Barkha (looking here and there) - Param! Param! Kaha ho tum!?

Barkha shouted 'Param' loudly expecting him to come out from his hide out but just got an echo of his name as reply.

Barkha (sadly) - Kaha ho tum, Param?

Suddenly, her eyes were covered by someone's palm, and she smiled widely realizing who would it be.

Param - Offo, to be Mrs. Shergill! Do minute ke liye kya gayab hua..aap to aise pareshan ho gayi jaise humesha ke liye...

Param was about to speak further but was stopped by Barkha who kept her palm on his mouth to prevent him from completing his sentence. Her eyes instantly filled with fresh tears as she could not even imagine her Param going away from her.

They both stood in the same position staring into each other's eyes. It seemed as if they are peeping into each other's soul through eyes. They witnessed pure love and passion for each other.

After a few minutes, Param averted his gaze and decided to lighten up the situation.

Param - Kya Barkha, tumne mujhe apni baaton mein fasa liya!

Barkha widened her eyes in surprise and slapped Param's chest making him release a chuckle.

Barkha - Haw! Maine baaton mein fasa liya!? Tumhari to...

Param (interrupting her) - Achha baba, fine. I'm sorry! But pehle mera surprise to dekhlo.

Barkha - Suprise!?

Param nodded and pointed at something towards Barkha's back and as she turned, she was fascinated and what not!

A flock of beautiful birds were flying to migrate from this cold region to a comparatively warmer one. The birds were flying in a very arranged and symmetrical order. And the sun which was about to rise was just cherry on top.

Barkha was looking at the scenery with her mouth wide open. Barkha was admiring the calming scenery while Param was admiring his Barkha's beautiful face with a smile of contentment on his face.

Barkha was done admiring the beautiful birds and turned sideways to find Param but didn't find him on either side of her.

But then she turned fully and was completely shocked to see Param on his knees with a ring in his hand. Her heart beat fastened and it seemed that it's racing with itself. Her eyes started to get teary as she knew what's coming.

Barkha (surprisingly shocked) - Pa..Param!

Param - Barkha, ye baat kafi dino se tumse kehna chahta tha. Magar ek commando hokar bhi is itni himmat nahi aayi. Aaj mere dil mein jo hai vo sab tumhe keh dena chahta hoon.
Jis din tumhe college mein pehli baar dekha tha usi din main apne hosh kho baitha tha. Jis din tumne mujhse pehli baar baat ki thi, us din tumse bahot si baatein karna chahta tha lekin iss muh se ek shabd nahi nikla. Jis din tumne accidentally mera haath pehli baar pakda tha na uss din dil itni speed se dhadak raha tha jaise Usain Bolt se compete karna ho...

Barkha chuckled making Param smiles shyly.

Param - Jis din thodi bahot himmat juta kar tumse vo teen alfaaz kahe to aur tumne aankho mein sharam aur pyaar bharkar mere proposal ko haan kaha tha, us din to maano jaise main jag jeet gaya tha. Vaisi feeling aa rahi thi.
Barkha, tumhare saath apni zindagi ke itne khubsurat lamhe bitane ke baad mujhe ye realise ho gaya tha ki tum vo hi ho jise meri maa dhund rahi hai. Ye jante hue bhi ki main ek commando hoon aur meri jaan ka koi bharosa nahi, tumne fir bhi mujhe chuna. Uske liye thank you!

Barkha smiled with tears of happiness and nostalgia.

Param -  Barkha, I promise mera sar aaj ke baad sirf 2 logo ke saamne hi jhukega. Ek, Meri maa ke aashirvad lene ke liye aur dusra, humari cute si beti ke shoe lace bandhte hue.

Barkha couldn't believe what her ears heard. She was so numb to react and just a river of tears was flowing through her eyes. She was blushing and her ears and cheeks started getting warm and red.

Param - Barkha, Haan ya na kuchh to boldo. Ab ghutna dukh raha hai!

Barkha chuckled with tears and made him stand from the ground and hugged him tight.

Barkha - Param! Tumhe pata nahi hai ki main kabse iss din ka intezaar kar rahi thi. Yes! Mr. Shergill I'd gladly be your Mrs. Shergill!

Barkha announced her answer to Param and the nature made it echo just like her heart. Param too got tears in his eyes and made Barkha wear the ring and kissed her knuckles. They both hugged eachother tight as if they're hiding the other from all the evil eyes of the world. And even the nature was happy as it witnessed the union of two love birds, and it was conveyed by the very first ray of sun itself!

The whole hall was decorated with different types of lights and flowers all over making it look like some function is going on. Many people were gathered there and suddenly their gaze averted towards the staircase from where a lovely couple was coming down. Barkha, who was now 7 month pregnant was coming claded in a beautiful lehenga and the glow which came due to pregnancy was making her look angelic. On the side, Param dressed in Kurta pajama was coming holding Barkha carefully.

They both came and settled down on a beautiful sofa placed specially for them.

Param's mom (while removing all the evil eyes) - Kisi ki nazar na lage humari bahu ko aur pota ya poti ko!

All smiled as Param's mom put a red chunri on Barkha's head and the Puja begin. In the Puja, Param and Barkha were stealing glances of each other.

Param (mouthed) - Thank you!

In return, Barkha just blinked her eyes and they again focused on the Puja rather focusing on each other.

After 2 months, ParKha were blessed with a baby girl. They were immensely happy and were crying continuously.

Barkha - Param, mujhe to believe hi nahi ho raha hai ki hu..hum maa-baap ban chuke hain!

Param - Vi..shwas to mujhe bhi nahi ho raha hai, Barkha! Ye feeling itni unreal hai ki describe hi nahi kar sakte.

Barkha nodded and they showered many kisses on their baby showing their love towards her.

Somewhere in a dark room, a lady in her early 60s with some white hair being visible and some wrinkles forming on her forehead and near her eyes, was sitting on the floor holding something in her hand.

Her eyes were filled with tears which she was controlling hard from falling but failed and they streamed down traveling all the way from her wrinkled cheeks.

Barkha (talking to Param's photo) - Hi Param! Aap bhi soch rahe honge na ki ab Barkha par ek aur zimmedari aa gayi to vo aapse theek se baat bhi nahi kar payi. Haina? Sorry, vo aaj-kal thodi busy chal rahi thi. Aur vaise bhi aap to ho nahi jo meri zimmedariyan sajha kar le. Sab kuch akele hi karna padta hai. (Sobbing) Aapko pata hai kitna akela feel karne lagi hoon main jabse aap chhod ke gaye ho mujhe!? Aapne Vada kiya tha na ki maut ke muh se nikalkar bhi mere aansu ponchhne aaoge. To aaj jab aapki Barkha aapse request kar rahi hai tab bhi kyu nahi aa rahe ho??

Aur aaj dekho hum buddhe bhi ho gaye. Aaj tak maine jo maanga vo sab aapne diya mujhe, lekin ye akelapan aur tanhai to nahi mangi thi na maine!

Kaash main humara budhapa aapke saath ji paati. Kaash hum nana-nani banne ki khushi sahi dhang se baant paate. Kaash hum humare nati-natin ko saath mein god mein lete. Kaash Param, Kaash!

Suddenly, Barkha heard Saumya's voice from outside and she stood up from the floor wiping her tears.

Soumya (whining) - Mumma, Zara aana. Ye dono shaitan ek saath nahi sambhal rahe mujhse!

Barkha (shouted) - Haan, aayi!

Barkha (chuckling to Param's photo) - Aaj maa ban gayi lekin hai bilkul bachi! Achha, main baad mein baat karti hoon aapse. And congratulations again, Mr. Shergill!

Barkha ran towards Saumya's ward and helped her in cradling her babies.

That's how she felt and remember everything about Param and their memories after crossing another milestone of life!

Though she'll miss him every single second. But has life ever stopped for anybody? No na! Then, Barkha also has and she will handle everything perfectly with her Param's love and support being with her forever and in every phase of life!
