"Thank you!" Jenny thanked the taxi driver as she shut the door.

The taxi drove away. Eren and Mikasa turned to Jenny.

"You two will be staying with my dear friend, 'Kay? He's a cute and precious man so don't worry, you two will get along with him just great. He also has a roommate. She's my best friend and a weirdo so you'll have to be a bit careful," Jenny explained.

"I have to live with Eren everyday," I think I'll be fine," Mikasa says.

Jenny smiles and Eren glares at Mikasa. They all enter the tall building that was behind to them and made their way in the elevator. The ride up was short, but everyone was glad it was.

The moment the elevator doors opened, was the moment that Armin regretted on letting Jenny's friends stay.

"Welcome!" Katy greets excitedly. "I'm Katy and this is my roommate-"

"Armin . . ." Eren interrupted, yet finished Katy's sentence. "Hey."

"Hi," Armin smiled as he always would but was deeply regretting everything.

"Katy! So, this is Mikasa," Jenny announced as she pointed towards the girl, then she turned towards Eren, "and this fella is Eren."

Katy's eyes widened and she smiled widely as she stepped closer to both Armin and Eren.

"Eren. As in, Eren Yeager?" She asked.

"Uh, yeah," Eren nodded awkwardly.

Katy took a deep breath to stop herself from screaming with joy. She then turned to Armin and smirked.

"MIKASA, will get her room! But since we have a limited supply of rooms, EREN, will room with Armin!" Katy announced.

Armin's eyes widened as he momentarily stopped breathing. Jenny glanced awkwardly from Katy to Eren, from Eren to Armin. She sensed that something was about to happen and that she knew nothing of it. She knew this was her cue to leave before the drama started.

"You guys sort this out! I'll be on my way! Armin will tell y'all where I live! Goodbye now!" Jenny insisted, beginning to stalk inside the elevator.

"Oh no you don't!" Katy smirked.

She grabbed Jenny by her shirt and pulled her back. She whispered something in her friend's ear. Jenny nodded and immediately began to grin.

"Jenny and I are going to go show Mikasa her room! Armin, you take Eren to yours and help him settle in!" Katy announced as she took Mikasa's and Jenny's hands, quickly dragging them upstairs.

Silence lingered in the living room after the girls had left. The two boys stared. Armin stared at the ground while Eren stared at Armin.

"It's been long," Eren finally spoke.

Armin nodded.

"I guess time flies when you're not holding onto the past . . ." The brunette added.

"How about we go to my room, and, like Katy said, settle you in?" Armin asks.

Eren nodded and grabbed his bags an followed Armin up the stairs. A few doors down and to the left. Armin's room had a lot of space and was very clean. Then they both realized the problem.

Armin only had one bed.

The two said nothing as they stared at the bed. A small smile grew on Eren's lips and. A small frown grew on Armin's. They were obviously not thinking the same way.

"Uh, so, we can't really settle you in right now, I guess," Armin lied. "We'll have to move a lot of things in here and I would think that you're tired from your flight and all that."

"Yeah, I guess," Eren shrugged.

-Time Skip Brought To You By Awkwardness-

"—Okay, and so then, Armin freaked out and I ended up getting no dinner, because I can't cook to save my life," Katy concluded, joking on last part.

The four walked into the small cafe that Armin worked at. The blond wasn't currently working, but they decided to drop by and get something. They sat at a booth near one of the large windows. It was drizzling when they were walking, but now, the rain had gotten harder. Armin hated the idea of a storm, because it meant thunder, which he feared. The voice of a male interrupted Armin's thoughts of thunder.

"Armin, what would you like?"

The blond looked up to his right to find his friend/co-worker, Alexander. He smiled.

"Hi, Alex!" Armin greeted quite cheerfully.

"Hey. Well, ya want anything or not?" Alex replied.

"Oh, um, no thanks," Armin shook his head.

Alex nodded and walked away.

"Talk about awkward!" Katy laughs.

"Shut up!" Armin huffed.

Armin glanced over at Eren who seemed angered. The blond felt a wave of guilt wash over him as he stared at his friend. When Eren finally noticed, he stared back at his now flushed friend.

"This staring contest is getting quite intense," Katy stated.

Mikasa agreed and slightly kicked Eren's shin underneath the table. Eren's eyes widened in pain as he looked away and glared at Mikasa. His sister smirked. Alexander came back with drinks. He set one down in front of everyone.

"I didn't want anything," Armin stated, looking up at his friend.

Alex leaned down to Armin's ear.

"It's on the house, Armin. Made with love," Alexander whispered.

Armin blushed. Alex left the table and went back to work.

"What was that about?" Mikasa asked, smirking.

"N–nothing!" Armin insisted.

Katy grinned, "well, you see, Armin has a huge crush on Alex and just can't contain himself."

Eren glanced at Armin worriedly. Armin tried to stare anywhere but at Eren.

"I hope you two get a chance," Eren spoke, quite sadly too. 'But I hope you also realize how much you still mean to me.'
