Revali's POV

The wind howls through the bitter night, the last of the snowflakes falling to the snow-covered ground. A pair of talons leave two identical marks in the snow as the Rito lands, surveying his surroundings.

A snowflake tickles his beak, before he brushes it off quickly with his warm wing. He looks towards Rito Village, which was aglow with life. He then looks up to the sky, sighing softly to himself.

Without another thought, he flies into the night, his wings beating steadily beside him.

Your POV

You sit up in your bed, closing the tattered book you'd just finished. After placing it on a makeshift oak table beside your bed, you allow your eyelids to flutter shut for a moment, your body wallowing in the dull, aching feeling in your muscles.

You extinguish the lantern by your bed, and you stare at your empty room for a moment, with a rare, solemn expression on your face. You sigh softly, your gaze returning to your bed.

You sink yourself deep into the thin blankets, closing your eyes once more, surrendering yourself to your dreams.
