Once in 2011 during our chill out times at PVR sets , we were discussing our future plans and He while playing PS told me , " .. Aap dekhna abhi mein movies ke liye try karoonga " Mind you He was at His peak of TV stardom. I, as usual , " Bilkul kar bhai , jo achha lage karna chahiye "😬. He then told in detail the roadmap to Movie stardom (detailed anecdote someday later 🙈)

CUT TO 2012 ending - While I was in different city working in my IBanking job , I saw the trailor of Kai Po Che for the first time and immediately can see His charisma working , giving a glimpse of a then future Star. I messaged Him something to the tune of 'kar hi diye fir se tum bada kaam ' and He replied .. "Haha , bade kaam mei hi to maza hai " 🤭🤭

CUT TO 2013 22nd Feb. - I watched the movie with a sense of pride (both as a cinephile and Him being my friend ) and just like almost everyone was in awe with his performance especially this scene. Overwhelmed with emotions, like a Delhite , I messaged Him later , " Aaj Bhai teri khushi mein party dega.. 😆 mast movie hai" And He replied , "Haha , thanks , Love you Bro. " 🤭

Some months later when the 'Wren & Martin' meet happened , amongst other talks I mentioned to Him the impact of this scene on me and then He told me , " Arre bahut soch kar plan kia tha ye scene Gattu Sir Ke saath😝" and other details about the shot. I replied , " Batao ek scene ke liye itna kuch.. " He continued and said , " baaaki movie bhai jaisi bhi ho bhai ending hamesha bahut impactful honi chahiye "😊.

And now that I am frequently reminded of those times , I tend to think how closely Life imitates art🙏

- A star was born to grace the celluloid with His charm , passion and 'Perseverance' (may be now doing it 209 mn km away , who knows ☺)
