Chapter 6

Hey guys... I KNOW I KNOW.... I told you I wasn't ever going to update this book, but I felt really bad that I wasnt... so

WALA

Update is here! I hope you like it, cuz I am brain died...

Clover POV

My mind relaxed. Some of the pain was gone… but I could still feel some of it there… nagging at me. I took a deep breath and stood up. I needed to get ready for school, even if I had problems. Someone knocked on my bedroom door,

“Clover? You up?” It was my dad’s voice. He twisted the doorknob and peeked inside. Needless to say, my dad is slightly bald. He has hardly any hair on his head, but does that make me not love him? No way! He also has a beard, but not very long. It is very neatly trimmed. When he saw me still in my PJs he frowned.

“Clove? You okay?” I nodded, putting on a smile.

“Yeah,” I said, standing up, “I’m okay. Don’t worry.” My dad smiled back at me and closed the door. When I heard the satisfying ‘click’ of the door being completely shut, I went into my walk in closet and closed the door. When I emerged, I had on a dark navy blue pair of jeans with a simple belt, sneakers, and most of all, my favorite shirt. It read, Camp Half Blood. I stepped in front of my mirror, which was on the backside of my closet door, and checked myself out. My hair was a mess, my face had a few zits, and my eyes seemed to pop out (color wise, not literally). I sighed. I was tired of being different…. I picked up my brush off my side table and began to brush out my hair. Blonde strands of hair were turned from messy knots to long, wavy, independent strands. When I was done, I shook my head, my blonde hair whipping around my face.

“Clover!!! Where did you put the blow dryer?” That was my mom. I stuck my head out of my room and called,

“In the drawer!” I heard my mom open the upstairs bathroom drawer and rifled through the stuff.

“Thank you!” she called. I closed my door again, clicking it closed. I began to sing one of my favorite songs, as I packed my backpack.

“Somewhere over the rainbow…. Way up high…” This song was special to me, but I guess it was just wishful thinking… I slung my bag over my shoulder and stuffed my Ipod in my right pocket and my phone in my left pocket. I stuck my four writing utensils, my favorite pen, my two favorite mechanical pencils, and then the REAL Mechanical Pencil, into my right pocket.

I still kept my weapons on me. I wasn’t stupid. But… They were starting to lose their power. I could almost feel it…

My sister, Amanda, knocked on my door.

“Clove..?” she asked, peeking her head in.

“What Amanda?” I asked, taking one last look into my bag, just to see if I had everything.

“Can I borrow your headband…?” She asked, twisting her shirt. I looked up and shrugged,

“Sure. I don’t care, as long as you bring it back in one piece and put it back where you found it.” Amanda nodded enthusiastically and grabbed my purple headband from off my lamp. She raced out the door, closing it behind her, leaving me alone again. I took this opportunity to pull out the books.

By the books, I mean… well… the future.

I knew everything… EVERYTHING... about the prophecy of seven. I.. hated to admit it, but I knew Leo would find someone else. I needed to except it. There was no point bothering the matter, but with Hazel having the information…

It made me relax a bit.

I shook my head out of my thoughts and stood up. School awaited me.

Leo POV

I rifled through the engine room’s closet, tossing wrenches, screwdrivers, pieces of metal, and almost everything else, over my shoulder.

“Where is it… Where is it?!” I scolded myself, tossing a rubber duck over my shoulder. I pushed some self-burning swords aside and picked up the thing I was looking for. It was a blue shirt. It read, Your Little Helper! I handled it gingerly and touched it to my face. The soft cotton fabric reminded me of her… and by her, I meant Clover. I thought hard and stared at the shirt.

Where have I seen this..? I thought to myself. Then, a flood of memories came rushing back.

“Clover, you need to open mine first.”

I handed her a green present that had a tag written in bad handwriting ‘Happy Birthday From Zach’ Clover ripped it open and revealed a-

I snapped out of my thoughts. I stared at the shirt, studying every detail.

This was Clover’s shirt.
