Chapter 5
Okay guys! Update! I know... I suck... but hey! At least it's an update!
Leo POV
I sat up on my bed and rubbed my head. Had that been a dream? Duh it was a dream! I thought. But was it true...? I rubbed my hands together, still feeling the silkiness of Clover's hands. My mind hurt, as if I hadn't gotten any sleep. Someone knocked on my door and opened it. It was Piper.
"Come on Leo. It's time to get up. We had breakfast without you." I pushed the covers off of me and stretched.
"Why didn't you guys wake me?" I asked, standing up. Piper shrugged.
"You couldn't wake up, so we decided to leave you. You've had a weird past few days." I nodded,
"We all have..." Piper smiled slowly, then left, closing the door behind her. I sat back down on my bed and ran my fingers through my hair, thoughts flying around everywhere in my head.
I had seen Clover. I was sure of it. She had looked so relieved, shocked, and scared to see me. When I had touched her....
I sighed and smacked my forehead. Stupid thoughts! Go away! But they didn't. I took a deep breath, exhaled, then stood once more. I walked over to the closet so I could get dressed out of my clothes from yesterday.
Clover POV
I woke the next morning, my head killing me. I rubbed my eyes and groaned.
BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEP
My alarm clock went off loudly and it made me jump off my bed. On the ground, I groaned and rubbed my head again, since I had accidentally slammed it against my desk. I stood up and smacked my alarm clock. It's annoying noise turned off and I took a few deep breaths. At least I was awake...
I pulled my pj shirt down and my thoughts went nuts. Leo.... Leo.... Leo.... I groaned and sat down, rubbing my forehead. All of Leo's thoughts pulled on my head, creating a migraine in my head. Somebody needed to know... Other than Rachel.... Someone on the quest....
(A/N- you guys are lucky! I wasn't planning on doing this, but it just came to me to do it. So yeah.... Enjoy Hazels POV!)
Hazel POV
I looked out over the land beneath us. It was green and lush. My hair whipped in the wind, blowing it across my face and creating a moving curtain for me to try to see through. I flicked my hair out of my face and studied the ground once more. As I thought about the quest... A thought surfaced in my mind.
Hazel... It whispered. I turned around, but no one was there...
Hazel... It insisted again, but louder this time. I focused in that thought and sent a reply.
What or who is this...?
Immediately, I got a response.
You wouldn't believe me if I told you. I need you to keep some information for me.
It sounded like a girls voice.
Um... How could I keep information if I don't know who wants me to keep it?
There was a pause... Then,
Hazel... It's about Leo. I am his girlfriend that he never knew existed. I am a mortal now, but I was a demigod. Please... I need you to keep this info from Leo. It will take a lot of strength and I thought you would be the best one.
My eyes widened.
Me?! I’m not strong at all, compared to the others!
Hazel…. Please… I need you to take this information. I didn’t want to give it to anyone else. If I gave it to Percy or Jason, they’re minds probably couldn’t the pressure. If I gave it to Frank, he might use it against Leo, since those two are already tight.
Got that right…. I thought. I could imagine the girl smiled,
Anyway, but I also don’t want to give it to Annabeth because she already had enough thoughts to deal with. I don’t want to give it to Piper because she might see the whole thing through her knife anyway.
How do you know this anyway..? I questioned, completely confused and puzzled. She didn’t respond for a minute.
Hazel…. I know what is happening right now. I know the future. Ri-
She broke off, not continuing for a little bit.
Nevermind… Anyway, are you ready for the information? I need you not to tell Leo a single word, nor give him the information any other way.
I physically nodded, then realized she wouldn’t be able to see me.
I’m ready. But before you give me the information, what is your name?
She didn’t answer my question.
Okay, it will hurt, just so you know. I can’t thank you enough, but don’t worry. I will only give some of the information over. Keep it from Leo. And never mention me, or your pain. Send me a message whenever you need to. Thank you, and goodbye Hazel.
I was about to ask why she said that, but all of a sudden a splitting pain stuck my brain. I winced and gripped it. Names, places, people, and all kinds of memories filled my head. I saw Leo, a girl with blonde hair and blue grey eyes, a huge workshop, and all kinds of things. A monster with metal parts creating it, fireworks, Cheez Its (what?!) a party, three kids that looked kind, small and caring. I closed my eyes and clenched my teeth, gaining control of them. Once the pain receded, I exhaled.
This girl was special to Leo… I knew that much….
