Spin, spin, spinning,

around this empty room.

It's white walls surround me,

as I dance to this tune..

It's a gleeful song,

that brings satisfaction to my bones.

& When I close my eyes, I see colors;

like vibrant double rainbows.

This place has held me captive &

I don't know why.

I've lived here forever &

not a soul has come by.

Loneliness has become my only friend

& I'm left with only my imagination.

But today is different...

Today, I feel... free.

Though, I'm not sure why,

but I'll stick with no questioning.

It's like a presence has blown in,

and smoothed over my skin with comfort.

So, I keep dancing of joy

& rejoice of no hurt.

I close my eyes again,

and paint pictures with my finger.

I paint them with colors I've only seen in dreams;

that stay in my mind to linger.

But then my hand bumps something

and I jump back, in surprise.

A door job.

It twists and opens and then,

I am looking in your eyes.

"Come with me," you say.

& I do as I'm told...

and when you take my hand,

I know you're what I felt today, so bold.

You saved me from.endless torturing nights,

so, I guess it's safe to say I believe in love at first sight.
