Writer's POV

" Dad you scared us. Do you know how we ..." Ryan sat beside his dad's bed and said holding his hands. He was so worried about his dad after hearing his accident news.

" I am all right you lad. Crying like a school kid. It's not me it's your granny who made you both scare by exaggerating about a small accident into something else" his dad ,
Mr Simon said in his gentle voice with a smile on his face.

" Oh so now everything is on me. Small or big accident is accident right ? Thank God all injuries are minor but still doctor suggested good rest but who is going to listen ? " Their granny whined at them who was sitting on a couch.

" Who said he won't listen ? Dad from today you are not allowed to take any stress about our office issues. " Said Ryan sternly.

" Then who will take ? " His dad snapped back

" Aaron is there for everything......"

" Still you are saying you won't be there right ? Ryan I know Aaron is there but he is not at all matured or experienced to handle such huge business. He just joined our office and I want you to handle everything from now also teach Aaron. If you agree with that then I will listen to you and take rest from now on if not then I don't have any other choice other than draining me out. " His dad said in a disappointing voice

" Dad you know me. I am not a type who likes to work in between four walls like robots. I like to explore this whole world and fly like a free soul..."

" Again that same bullshiit.... Ryan you are a man , you need to settle down in your life and this is the perfect time for that. Look at n this is my age to play with my great grandchildren and his age to play with his grandchildren. But here I am still looking after my son and his sons. Is this a fair play? " Granny stood from her place and yelled at Ryan.

" Come on granny, now from where this marriage issue came all of sudden. What is it's role in this situation ? " Ryan shouted back annoyingly

" This is the most perfect time you idiot. Marry a girl and settle down. It's enough that you explored the world now concentrate on your work and family. After Jessy's death I looked both of you without keeping down. If Jessy was here then I shouldn't have to run behind you like this. Our home is not that same one after her death. I want to make that lifeless building into a sweet home again. For that I want you to marry as soon as possible otherwise I am going back to Los Angeles. I will die there, my grave will be at least beside to my husband rather than dying here without any happiness"  Ryan, Aaron and their dad Simon, three were looking at each other making faces like she started again with her melodrama.

" Granns I never said that I won't get married . I just need some more time and a perfect girl who match with me. Who can understand me and love the way I am. You all know I am a wild natured guy so not every one can cope with my behavior and character. " Ryan said his side

" Then what about that proposal I brought last time? That girl was a perfect match for you then what happened? You rejected her without even meeting her " granny whined

" Who said I didn't meet her ? I met her talked with her but she was not my type so I rejected that's it. " Ryan put a full stop to that conversation but his grandma was not going to leave that matter just like that

" I won't believe because I saw that girl  and she is really beautiful like an angel. Good character, good education, job everything she has then like what made you reject that girl Ryan. " Granny asked

"She is full of attitude and  Granny she is not my type. A lawyer and an artist is that even possible ? She doesn't even know the meaning of art other than some law points then how can we understand each other ?
Her job is like a time table where as mine is all about exploring.  where is the similarity granny......"

" May I come in...." Breaking their heating argument someone knocked on the room and get permission to enter.
It was non other than Nina , who works at elite world and Ryan's favorite employee.

" Nina ...? Come in come in..." Ryan asked her to get in .

"Uncle I was really worried for you after hearing this bad news. Ryan was really in a bad condition while leaving from office so I followed him. " Nina stood beside Mr Simon's side and said

" It's okay. See I am perfectly fine. Thank you so much for your concern." Mr Simon replied

" Mom this is Nina, Nina Dane , Mr Jacob Dane's only daughter. " Simon introduced Nina to his mom.

" ohhh I remember. You are so beautiful my sweet heart. Are you married ? " After hearing that sudden question Ryan, Aaron and Mr Simon rolled their eyes at granny.

" No no , I am just working now. Under Ryan's supervision. He is really good " said Nina looking at Ryan with an adorable smile.

" That's good then... I know your father. Family is also good. What I was....."

" Granny enough . That's enough for today Nina will be busy don't make it long " Ryan stopped his granny from proceeding further.

" Aaron drop Nina at her home. Ryan you stay here I want to talk with you " Mr Simon said in a serious tone.

Granny took Nina with her and Aaron followed them. Now the room was left with Ryan and his dad.

" Ryan, my son I am very serious right now. You are very well aware that for this past few months what happened in our office. Ryan this company is my life not only mine your dad's too. He even lost his life because of his dedication and hard work for this company's future. Other than you I don't have a reliable hands to ask for help. Stay there , that chair for next director is yours Ryan. Don't let anyone to drag down our company from it's throne. Think about it ..." Ryan knows his dad won't say such serious matters often. Once he says then that will be very important. Even though he isn't his real dad Mr Simon never let him feel like that.

" Don't worry dad I will do like you want. I won't go anywhere until you will become that old lion. " Ryan kissed his dad's knuckles and said.

" Actually I am also supporting your granny Ryan. Nina is indeed a nice girl. We know each other,  our family knows well. You both grew up together. Like you said understanding is there , you both have same taste in almost everything. Nina can be a good match for you " said his dad.

" Dad. ..... Stop it .... Nina ? I never think about her like that." Ryan whined.

" No one will think until you realise what you missed from your life.  When I married Jessy we weren't in any kind of romantic relationship. I was only in love with my work but she never complaints though. But when I realized that how much I love her or started loving her she left me forever giving a small Aaron in my hands. There isn't a single day in my life that I never regretted to say Jessy that how much I love  her. " Simon become so emotional when he remind his old memories

" Dad ......"

" We men are fool we don't understand our own feelings Ryan. I am not forcing you but a small suggestion. Nina is really a good girl and a good match for you. Think about it "

" I never thought about a relationship and marriage but I think it's the right time . I don't have any issues with Nina. Like you said Nina and I have many things in similar and it will be easy for us to make it out. I will give you a happy news soon dad trust me " Ryan assured his dad and left from there.

Next day morning Ryan was ready to leave for office all excited because after a long time of begging his granny allowed him to use his grandfather's old car which is now a vintage model.

That car is her life and she was looking after that car like her own son.

" Don't forget this is not your sports car that will fly on road use it carefully. I am giving this as a gift only because you agreed to think about Nina seriously. Ryan I am telling you take her to a date in this car at next moment she will fell for you. It's a secret " his granny said to him like a secret.
Ryan chuckled at her and step into the car drive off to his office.

" Sir do I need to park it ? " When Ryan put the car in front of his office security enquired whether to park it at parking lot.

" No , I want to go out soon." Ryan replied and walked towards office in a stylish way wearing his leather jacket and playing with the car keys in his fingers.

Irene was coming to office all relaxed, playfully, with all smile face. She saw some kids playing at side road and she stayed there to watch them.

" What kind of bating was that ?  Give that bat to me I will show you a wonderful sixer in a single go " Irene jumped into those kids and snatched their cricket bat and asked them to ball. Kids were looking at her like they saw some kind of alien and even tried to stop her playing. But Irene was adamant and she stood there for bating.

Finally kids give up and  balled for her. she strikes that  perfectly which was indeed a wonderful sixer but ball went and hit right on Ryan's car windshield making a spiderweb crack on it.

Everyone stood there stumbled after hearing the sound and kids quickly run from there with their things. Irene with her bulged eyes and racing heart she took baby steps towards the car. Security man was looking at the accident occurred while holding the ball which hit the car

" What happened ? " Irene heard that deep husky serious voice from her back. She didn't turn instead she was just looking at the car.

" Sir ...... Your car......" Watchman showed the ball and singned towards the car.

" Jeez who the hell did this to my car ? Oh my....... What the..... &@@##" Irene tightly closed her eyes when he began to bad mouth

" Some kids were playing there I think they did this . " Irene mumbled in her trembling voice

" Kids ? Shit ....... " Ryan banged on the car in a fury

" Hey go and check the CCTV footage who did this to my car. I am not going to leave any of them. My granny will get a heart attack if she sees this.  " Ryan was angry and he was impatiently walking here and there without able to watch his car's condition.

" Leave it they are just kids. " Irene mumbled

" What? Kids , just kids? They messed with my car and I won't leave them. You were here right?  then tell me who did this ? Did you saw that kids face " he made Irene turned towards him and that's when she saw who was standing infront of her.

" Greek god " accidentally that's the first thing came out from her mouth after seeing Ryan.

" What ? " Ryan looked at her confused. Irene was decided to tell the truth but she changed her mind after seeing Ryan. She doesn't wanted to make a bad impression infront of him.

" Don't worry who ever did this I will catch them for you. I promise "

" Who are you ? " He snapped at her.

" Irene..... Irene Jh..... Irene John. I work here, in elite world. If you have any problem then come and meet me I can solve it for you " Irene was literally blushing infront of Ryan. Her legs weren't properly placed on floor. She was swinging infront of him all girly way.

" You work here ? In elite world ? I never saw you here " he said

" You didn't ? Oh that's a loss. See I am all in all of this office. If I am not here then this office won't work. Even my boss needs me all time. Irene is like his right hand . For each and every thing he needs Irene. " She was blabbering and Ryan was watching her all actions while slanting towards his car. He wanted to laugh but he was controlling.

" Do you know me ?" Ryan asked with a smile

" Of course I know you. My Greek god " Irene mumbled while blushing

" What ? I didn't hear you" Ryan leaned more towards her and asked

" I mean you might be our customer right. Our customers satisfaction is our happiness. " Irene replied..

" What made you think that I am your customer ? " Ryan asked

" You don't look like an office man. A creative person, who loves art, someone likes to travel , explore many things also look at the car an old vintage model. You are font of such things. Moreover your dressing style , not a tailored suit or polished shoes. Instead a ripped baggy jeans, a t shirt and leather jacket. More to it an adventure shoes which is scaring me out " Irene eye signed to his shoes and said.

" Okay,  next......" Ryan was really liking the way she was talking and all the time a cute smile was on his face.

" Then what ? Not a clean shaved face instead there are rough stubbles and a messy hair. This shows that you are not an office type. Moreover not a sheep who meh meh meh like all others " Ryan began to laugh when he heard that meh sound from her.

" You are really funny .... Miss......"

" Irene.... Irene John " she replied

" Yeah Irene..... Beautiful name ... Irene " Ryan repeated her name like he is font of it

" Ryan..........." They turned towards the side from where he heard his name. It was Nina who walked towards them from parking lot.

Irene turned towards Ryan and then at Nina doubtfully.

" What are you doing here instead of going inside ? Yesterday I was bit busy that's why I didn't call you. Anyway how is Uncle Simon now ? " Nina asked with all concern

" Yeah good... He is all right now. " Ryan replied while giving a side hug to Nina.

" You are. ....." Irene looked at both of them with a frowned face

" So Miss Irene,  it's really nice to meet you.
By the I forget to introduce myself.
Ryan , Ryan Simon Philip...... I hope you heard about me since you are working here. I never knew that I had a right hand like you. " He said with a chuckle

" Anyways I am looking forward to see your capabilities Irene. Don't disappoint me "

" Sir........" Irene looked at him with a sorry face

" No  , Ryan is enough. I don't like such stereotypical words in my office. " He said

" Ryan she is our new office girl. That's it .." Nina interrupted and said

" Oh really ? So this whole office needs you Irene. All the best " he patted on Irene's shoulder and walked inside with Nina.

Irene looked at then with a pank of jealousy, embarrassment and disappointment.

" Irene........" She screamed and stomped her feet on the floor in a rage.
