Thank you for the lovely letter you wrote to me. With such a polite offer, it would be hard for me to refuse your request. Still, I can't help but wonder why you would choose to reach out to me now. Of all times. What happened three years ago, though it still remains very much an enigma to the public, is in the past. People have long since lost their curiosity over what conspired over that year, or perhaps they have not, and they have only stopped asking questions. Perhaps now, the world is ready to know what happened, and why it happened.

Whatever your reasons may be, I will tell you what I know, in hopes it can be useful to you. I will do my best to recount what I remember of the events, but please note, even myself, who was so deeply involved in these events, may not know the whole story.

But enough of my rambling, I attached my recollection of the events and other things that may be useful to your project to the back of the letter, I hope it can be of use to you and your documentary.
