An energon tear  raced down Moon's faceplate as she recalled that memory. _Oh Sire......._ Moon thought. She could have been there. She could have saved her adopted Sire. If she had gone  with him,  instead of escaping,  he would never have died. She would've stopped Stars cream from murdering her sire, the first bot to  to take her in since her parental units disappeared. Realizing her parents were sleeping, Moonshadow snuck our of her quarters, snuck past the Bots and humans, and  took the elevator to the roof. Moon stepped to the  edge, near Cliff's grave, sat  down, lifted her head, closed her optics, and howled. She  howled a sweet, sorrowful howl. It was filled with longing  and love, fear and hate, strength and weakness. "every  cyber wolf has her own  howl" Moonshadow recognized that voice. 'Carrier!' 

"Hello my sweetspark."  ' Where are you? I can't see you?'  Moon whined. " I am not physically here. You are hearing my voice." Her Carrier's soft voice calmed Moon and made her forget all about her sorrow. "I have come to give you a warning: beware of Firerunner. Do not allow him to ally himself with Megatron." 'What? Who is Firerunner? Why do I need to watch him?' "You will find out all in good time, Sweetspark.  Now, I must go. Goodbye sweetspark. Stay strong." The voice disappeared in a gust of wind that nearly knocked Moon off the cliff.  All now stood quiet and still, including the restless wolf.

     When Moon finally got over the shock, she reached down to the bots.' Ratchet!  Something crazy happened!' Moon spoke to the whole base(excluding her parents and June). "What is wrong?" Ratchet inquired. Moonshadow explained the whole conversation to them. "You should  obey what she says. This is important information. " Optimus was the first to speak. "So.......... You talked with a DEAD cybertronian?" Bulkhead asked nervously. "COOL! MOONSHADOW SAW A GHOST!" Miko exclaimed. "Are we in a haunted base!" ;Ummm.... No.  The base isn't haunted.; Bumblebee buzzed. Raf translated. "Ghosts?" June questioned. "Miko doesn't  know what she's talking about Mom, there are no ghosts. " But-" Raf covered  her mouth.

"If you heard your carrier speaking to you..." Arcee began. Moonshadow knew what she was going to say. 'No...' Arcee liked Cliffjumper too, so of course she'd ask.

"Who's Firerunner?" Raf asked. Moonshadow's   helm suddenly began to pound  terribly, before she crashed to the ground, unable to see, hear, smell, or feel anything except pain.
