"Soo.... What next?" Shadow asked as the trio walked down the street. "How much money do we have?i  have $10. " said Ratchet. "5." Maddie replied  " 50¢" Shadow frowned. "So.... $15.50....  Not a whole lot. Let's   get to the woods. We can find a way to get  to Nevada.....I could fly there, but I can't hold both of you. Of are could sucker someone into giving us  a plane ticket, and   me and Shadow could pretend to be your dogs." Maddie said. "Or one of us could get a job!" Shadow suggested. "How are we supposed to get jobs?" Ratchet asked. Shadow  shrugged. "We could try Maddie's idea... But  how are we going  to get onto a plane, or even get crates to put us in?its not like someone is going to randomly give us a cart and crates. "  suddenly a man walked up withba large cart holding two large kennels,  big enough to hold a great Dane. "Do you have dogs at home?" He asked. The three looked at eachothetr and Maddie smiled "Yeah... " Maddie replied, slightly skeptical, but  hopeful. "Do you want these? It'll only cosy you $1.50  for the crates and cart. I'll throw in this rottweiler sized doggie sweater for free too! " the man smiled brightly and seemed friendly enough.Neither Shadow nor Maddie could detect even a hint of lies in the man, so they agreed, Gave the man the money and headed towards the airport. "What do we need the dog  sweater for? " asked  Ratchet. "To hide my wings. We don't want people to know i have wings. If anyone finds out, I'll be a science experiment." Maddie replied. They had stopped at a  large bush where Shadow and Maddie could  shift, and for Ratchet to help Maddie get her sweater  on. Once they were ready,  they just needed a ticket. "Where are we going to get a ticket? It's not going to fall pout of the sky!" Shadow tried. The three looked up to the sky. Nothing happened. they waited several minutes before deciding it was a dumb idea to  even think of doing. Maddie and shadow walked into the crates and Ratchet closed the doors. Ratchet pulled the crate with his good arm  into the building.  They made it through security and looked around when they made it to a food stand. Ratchet noticed a  convention  on flight 3Z to Jasper, Nevada. He was dressed similarly to the men and women entering it.Ratchet entered information on Maddie and Shadow's crates, put them on the baggage converbelt, distracted the ticket taker(I don't remember what they are called), and dashed into the plane. He sat in an empty seat in the back.

Maddie and shadow sat in the crates,  feeling themselves being moved  every which way through total darkness on the converbelt.  It took them outside, where men roughly grabbed the crates and put them down in their plane's cargo hold.       Half an hour later, the large door shut, leaving them in total darkness. "Hold your horses, We're going to Jasper!" Shadow said.  Maddie heard the engines turn on and heard the flight attendant tell the passengers safety steps and emergency procedures. She felt the plane start moving and it tip back  and fly up . she could feel it moving higher and  the wind interfering with the  plane's wing, causing some turbulence. This was going to be an interesting and very new flight experience. Shadow, on the other hand, was terrified. Every movement, every sound,  every smell,  set her on high alert. She had never flown before, at least, not after she had lost her  memory.as the plane took off and flew higher, Shadow hated it. The entire plane shook, sending both crates and many suitcases  sliding back and forth.this time, both wolves were unsettled my the movement.                                several hours later, the plane landed and the plane's cargo hold door  opened, and light flooded the entrance.
