A Loner

'A loner' I think the word belong to me. I have been a loner all my life. I was always alone in school or even at home.

You must be thinking that I was this shy chick who got nervous around people, then I must clarify this that I wasn't. I was this outspoken girl who never cower in front of an opponent, Be it a girl or boy. But still I wasn't one for socialism.

Socializing with others means talking and gossiping and I wasn't a gossip monger, nor I like talking hence never had any friends. I never thought I needed friends, till 5th standard my cousin Anu was there with me, in my mind he was the only person I needed, he was everything to me a brother, a friend, a companion everything. when we were together we felt secured. We were each other's strength.

But soon everything changed, in sixth standard Anu started getting sick frequently and as a result he stopped coming to school, due to my studies becoming harder, we weren't able to remain as close as we were before he fell sick and we hadn't even realised when we drifted apart.

Now he was confined to home and I became a loner.

I know you must be thinking what and why I am writing this. then let me answer it before you asked. I'm giving you an introduction to my life this chapter sums up my life in many ways and most of my memories which I will share with you guys, are going to be relevant to this chap as this chapter tells you something that has shaped me and my personality. So please bear with me.
