/your p.o.v./

I screamed in pain as the giant monster struck me with it's hand, causing me to fly back and smash into a tree. I landed on the ground with a thud. It roared in anger fire shooting from its mouth. Damn the villagers never said the monster was this powerful. My magic attacks seem to barely work on it. I tried to push myself up with my arms, but my elbows gave out and I smacked to the ground again. My whole body was surging with pain. I couldn't get up, and I noticed a wound on side that was bleeding immensely. My eyelids became heavy and my vision blurred. Suddenly I heard voices and the monster started screaming in pain but I couldn't see what was happening.

"Ice make battle axe!"

"Requip!"

"Fire dragon roar!"

"Let's help them out too Virgo!"

"Yes princess."

"Hey are you ok? Don't worry I can heal you!"

My breathing steadied and I was soon engulfed in blackness.

I heard voices again, but this time they were in hushed voices.

"Is she gonna be ok?"

"Why would she take on a monster like that all in her own?"

"What's that mark on her arm? Is she a part of a guild?"

When I opened my eyes I was lying on a bed in a place I'd never seen before. What...? Where am I? I though I died.

"Wait she's waking up."

I suddenly panicked realizing I was surrounded by strangers. I screamed and jumped of the bed positioning to attack.

"Wow wow calm down we aren't going to hurt you!" A woman with scarlet hair said calmingly.

I didn't move from my position. Ready to defend myself if needed. The pain that was in my side had dulled a lot. I still felt tiered, and I panted trying to catch my breath. They all stared at me with shocked expressions. "Who are you?!" I asked threateningly. "Where am I?"

"My name is Erza Scarlet, and you are in the FairyTail guild's infirmary." She explained.

FairyTail? Isn't that the light guild I heard so much about. I calmed and moved out of my stance. Suddenly I felt dizzy and I started to fall to the ground. A guy with black hair caught me.

"I think you still need to rest." He said putting me back into the bed.

"Did you save me?" I asked them.

"Yeah I used my sky magic to heal you." A younger girl with dark blue hair answered. "You were pretty beat up."

"What is your name?" I asked causally.

"I'm Wendy." She smiled. "This is Carla." She referred to the white cat in her arms.

"Well thank you Wendy I appreciate it." I said gratefully.

"And I'm Natsu!" The pink haired guy exclaimed. "And this is Happy."

"Aye!" The blue cat exclaimed.

"Keep your voices down, this is an infirmary people are resting." The blond girl scolded them. Then she turned to me smiling. "I'm Lucy."

"And I'm Gray." The guy who caught me greeted.

"My name is (f/n) (l/n)." I introduced. Then I suddenly yawned.

"Alright now that introductions have been made I think it's time for her to rest." Erza smiled. "Let's go everyone."

They left and I closed my eyes once again falling into a calming sleep.

I walked out of the infirmary I was met with a lively guild. Some people were drinking away at the bar, and some were just talking to each other with smiles plastered on their faces. Natsu and Gray were starting a fight in the middle of the guild.

"Yeah let's go Natsu!" Happy cheered.

"Don't encourage them stupid cat!" Lucy snapped at him.

"They need a real man in this fight!" A big man with white hair shouted as he jumped into the fight.

"Oh great now Elfman joined." Lucy sighed sweat dropping from her head.

"Hey!" A man with grayish blue hair slurred. He was obviously drunk. "Just because I'm older doesn't mean I can't fight anymore!"

"Macow sit down before you hurt yourself!" Someone with longer dirty bling hair shouted at him.

"Alright let's go Max!" Macow yelled and soon they were in the fight as well.

"Aren't you going to join Gajeel?" A girl with light blue hair asked with a sigh.

"Nah it ain't worth my time." He replied in a tough voice.

"Hey metal head!" Natsu yelled throwing a stool which hit Gajeel square in the face. "Come on you chicken fight me!"

"Alright you're in for it now!" He yelled angrily, and joined the fight.

"Well it didn't take much to make him loose his cool huh Levy?" A black cat asked.

"You can say that again Lilly." She said sweat dropping from her head.

Finally Erza turned and saw me standing there. "Everyone stop fighting!" She ordered.

They all continued and ignored her.

She requiped a sword into her hand. "You are all being rude to our guest!" She yelled slashing all of them, and they all flew back.

"Sorry mam." They all grumbled in union.

"I'm sorry (y/n) are you feeling any better?" Erza asked suddenly becoming gentle.

I don't understand this girl she can go from scary to kind in the blink of an eye. "Yes thank you." I bowed to her.

"Awe there's no need to be so formal, we are friends now right?" Lucy asked sweetly.

"Friends?" I said taken aback for a moment. I've never made friends, so how could we become them so quickly. Are they trying to trick me? Maybe I shouldn't trust them. "I-I don't know about that." I nervously tugged my sleeve down over the mark on my arm.

Some of the members looked at me skeptically, but then Gray smiled. "Ah come on (y/n) lighten up. You're safe here." He put his arm around me causally.

I don't understand these people no one has ever been this kind to me before. "O-ok." I replied. "I guess we could be friends."

"My beloved Gray you don't love her more than Juvia do you?" A girl with blue hair asked suddenly appearing next to us. "Why don't you ever put your arm around me?" Tears started to stream down her face forming a puddle.

Gray sighed and removed his arm from my shoulder.

"Oh Gray is this your girlfriend?" I asked.

Grays cheeks flushed red. "What no she's not my girlfriend! Why would you think that?!"

The whole guild started laughing, and Juvia gushed at the word.

"Whoops did I say something wrong?" I asked.

Natsu laughed loudly at Gray's flushed expression. "Not at all. You know what (y/n) you're pretty cool."

I smiled slightly. These people are so nice. I've never met anyone like them.

"So (y/n) where do you live?" The girl who I heard was called Levy asked.

"Um I don't really live anywhere. I travel around just looking for jobs where I go." I replied. "I usually sleep outside, or sometimes in motels, but I was thinking about staying in Magnolia for a little while longer."

"Well then I have to insist you stay with me." She gushed.

"Oh? Well ok..." I said shocked by her offer.

"Great! Where is your stuff we can move it to my place." She asked getting excited.

"I was going to buy some stuff in town once I got the reward money for beating that monster, but that never really happened." I explained.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot!" Lucy exclaimed. She pulled some jewl from her pocket. "Here you go its the reward money."

"No no I couldn't take it." I shook my head. "You keep it you're the one who beat the monster."

"Hm fine, but I get to choose how to spend it, and I'm choosing to take you shopping." She smiled brightly.

"No I don't want to be a bother." I refused.

"Nonsense!" She exclaimed. "I'm not giving you much of a choice so let's go."

"Well don't think you're going without me Lu-Lu." Levy said locking arms with her.

"Great the more the merrier!" Lucy gushed, and they both dragged me out of the guild.

Me Levy and Lucy had went to almost every store in magnolia, and had a lot of new stuff for me. Clothes, books, shoes, you name it.

"I think we may have gone a little overboard." Levy laughed nervously at the big pile of stuff we had bought. "We should probably get this back to my apartment. You ready (y/n)?"

"I just need to pick up a few things at the market, and I'll meet you guys back at the guild." I replied.

"Alright!" Lucy replied and we  went our separate ways.

I went to the market place, and it was bustling with people. I went to my favourite booth I went to it every time I visited magnolia. It had my favourite candy, and a magic drink that was to die for. I ordered what I wanted, payed, and then started walking back to FairyTail. Suddenly someone bumped into me causing me to fall on my butt, and the drink to spill all over him.

"Watch were you're going." His cold voice said.

I looked up met by a guy with black eyes, and snow white hair. I was probably just super mad because I wasted my favourite drink, but I shot up and screamed at him. "Why don't you watch where your going you jerk!"

"Excuse me, but I'm the one covered in your drink so don't shout at me!" He retaliated.

"You were also the one who ran into me." I pointed out.

"I don't have time for this right now. Great now I have to change." He muttered bumping my shoulder hardly as he passed by.

"Bastard!" I yelled after him sticking out my tung in his direction. Some people looked at me but I just continued walking. God who does that guy think he is. Now I've wasted my drink. Oh well at least I've got my candy. I thought as I popped a piece into my mouth.
