After we had the very happy reunion between our client and his son, and got our reward, all us members of Fairy Tail went to the local inn. The girls were all sharing a large room, and after what seemed like endless gossip and fun we had all finally settled into bed. I closed my eyes getting lost into my dreams.

I woke up a little while latter, and was at the now destroyed entrance of Esteven.

"What the hell?" I asked in panic "how did I get here?" I squinted as a bright blue light shone behind me.

I turned, and when my eyes adjusted I saw many figures of people standing there. Except they weren't quite tangible. They all had a blue glow to them, and floated a few centimetres above the ground.

I cowered slightly. Are these g-ghosts?

"Don't be afraid." One of them told me. The voice seemed so familiar. It was the voice that had led me to the city originally. For some reason it made me feel calmer.

"You guys... Are the villagers?" I stated, in more of a question than a statement.

They nodded their heads yes. A man among them moved to the front. His head was covered in a hood so I could not see his face. He was the owner of the voice. "Yes child, we wanted to thank you for once again making sure the power of our city never falls into the wrong hands."

"But why me? I asked. "Why did you lead me to the city?"

"Because you're the only one I could trust." He said taking off his hood.

My eyes widened in shock, and I could barely speak. "F-father?"

"Actually I'm you great grand father, but the family resemblance is amazing." He smiled gently at me.

I couldn't help but feel warm tears form in my eyes. He is smiling at me. Smiling my father's smile... One I thought I'd never see again.

He walked over to me and kneeled down. He wiped away a stray tear that had run down my face. "I'm so proud of what you've become." He said warmly. "And I know your father is too."

I couldn't bring myself to speak, so I just wrapped my arms around him, embracing him tight. He started to fade away as well as the others.

One of the women smiled down at me. She looked familiar. "Take care of Kaya for me, and tell her her mommy will always love her."

"I will." I promised, and then they all faded away into the sky.

I woke up in my hotel bed with a start. The light lacrima turned on, and the other girls woke up.

"(Y/n), are you ok?" Erza asked me. "You were whimpering in your sleep."

It took me a second to catch my breath, and take in my surroundings. Then I smiled. "I'm fine." I replied truthfully, and went to wipe away the tear.

The next morning me levy and Lucy were gathering our things from the room.

Lyon came into the doorway. "Hurry up, we're leaving." He said coldly.

"Ok geez we're almost done, cool down there jack." I said teasingly.

"Jack?" He asked in confusion.

"Yeah Jack Frost, honestly Lyon learn your fairytales." I smirked as I walked past him out of the room and into the lobby.

"Awe Nazar come on." I heard Kaya's voice as I walked up to my friends. "Why are you so mean?"

"Kaya." I heard Nazar scolding. "You need to start acting your age. This world is more dangerous then the one you lived in."

"I know that I'm just messing around a bit." She huffed. She saw me coming and lit up. "(Y/n)! Tell him to stop nitpicking everything I do. Do I really have to change?"

I smiled at her. "Well as long as you're careful, I think you should just be yourself." I ruffled her hair, earning a small giggle.

"Wow (y/n) I don't think I've ever heard you sound so intelligent." Lyon said as he, Lucy, and levy joined us.

I glared at him. "Shut up." I walked out of the hotel and put my bag in one of the wagons we had got to take us back to magnolia. Gray was standing by it with Juvia

Meanwhile Erza was trying to get Natsu into the wagon.

"No no I don't want to!" He yelled

"Natsu!" She scolded, and then knocked him out with a hard punch to the gut.

"Idiot." Me and Gray grumbled at the same time.

"Alright people lets go!" Erza said getting us all to quickly get into the wagons. Sometimes Erza scared me...

We were going through the east forest. Me, Nazar, Kaya, Gray, and Juvia were all in the same wagon. Lyon was going to be with us, but the minuet he saw me he moved to the next wagon. I was confused as to why he was acting so weird, but decided not to get into it. The last thing we need is another argument. Especially since Nazar and Kaya had started to bicker. Kaya had been leaning out the window getting excited about all the new things, and Nazar would scold her about not falling out of a moving vehicle.

Our wagon had come to a sudden stop.

"What's going on? we can possibly be there yet." I asked.

Suddenly the wagon was turned over forcefully onto its side. We all crawled out to see we were surrounded by men. They all had the same mark on their arm.

"It's that bandit guild." Juvia told us.

Who seemed to be the leader of the group snarled showing his teeth. "Now you can let us take your valuables and be on your way, or things could get violent."

I looked at Gray and we both smiled. I could tell we both had the same idea.

"Water nebula" I attacked.

"Ice make lance." Gray also attacked taking out some of the bandits.

"They're wizards!" One of the men shouted.

"It doesn't matter, we have wizards of our own we outnumber them, so fight." The leader barked his orders.

"Kaya stay back and be careful." Nazar told her.

"Hey, I can fight to." She huffed.

"Well I don't want to have to constantly be protecting you so just stay out of the way." He replied in a slightly harsh tone.

Me and Gray were too busy fighting to do anything anout them. Nazar and Juvia soon joined in on the fight. We had taken out most of the members, and the remaining ones had started to retreat, despite their leader telling them to stay and fight. He to was soon defeated, and like that the bandit guild was taken out.

Gray and Juvia were turning the wagon back, and Nazar was catching his breath. Suddenly a bandit who had been hiding in the bushes jumped out to attack him.

"Thorns!" Kaya yelled and before the bandit could hit Nazar he was knocked out her bush of thorns that suddenly grew. She then turned to Nazar with a smirk. "Now who's protecting who?" She turned on her heal her pigtails swooshing. I gave her a high five as she passed by me and got into the wagon.

Nazar gave me a look that said not to encourage her.

"What?" I asked "she's got a point." I chuckled and then got back into the wagon.

He followed after me grumbling something under his breath. I couldn't help, but laugh. And he calls her childish...

We were back at the guild now, and everyone was chatting happily. The normal small fights here or there, Nab still at the request board, Retus painting in the corner. I sighed the sense of. what I now see as, normalcy washing over me. I love finally having a place to call home.

"Welcome back you guys." Mira greeted happily.

The others had already gotten back, and almost immediately Gray and Natsu got into a fight. Then Elfman got involved, Gajeel, and almost all the other members. I sighed feeling sweat drop. "Yep same old fairytail."

Erza sighed. "They are so reckless."

"Where's Lyon?" I asked.

"He went back to his guild." She replied.

I felt my heart drop. But he didn't even say goodbye. I thought we were friends now.

"Oh and who is this?" Makarov asked looking at Kaya, and snapping me out of my thoughts.

Kaya didn't speak, and she cowered behind me slightly. She still wasn't used to a lot of people.

"This is Kaya." I introduced. "She needs a place to call home."

"But (y/n) I want to stay with you and Nazar." She whispered to me.

"I know, you will, I promise." I told her.

"Well fairytail is always willing to give anyone a home." Mira smiled kindly at her.

"How about it Kaya?" I asked her. "Do you want to join fairytail?"

She nodded happily.

"Great!" Mira clapped happily. "Come with me and I'll give you your mark." She walked away with her.

"Master there is someone else I want you to meet." I said.

"Ok where are they?" He asked.

I turned to see that Nazar was no longer there. "One second." I said politely excusing myself, and walked out of the guild.

I found Nazar sitting up on a hill, that Mira said the guild hall had once been moved to. I sat down next to him. When he sensed my presence he turned to me looking slightly surprised that I was there.

"Why did you come after me?" He asked looking out on the view of the now setting sun.

"I don't know." I said simply. "Why did you leave?"

"(Y/n)..." he sighed "Do you really think me joining FairyTail is a good idea?" He paused, but not long enough for me to answer. "I don't belong there. I hurt you and your friends. It's a light guild, and I'm.... Well I'm a curse. Dark and light just don't mix."

"Nazar, you are not a curse." I said sternly "but you are an idiot."

"Gee thanks." He said sarcastically.

"Do you really think anything in your past bothers me? Because it doesn't. In fact if I had to choose one thing out of anything that I saw about you that day that would bother me, it would be the way other people treated you. You never did anything wrong and yet they tormented you. Why let them get to you?"

"I was sick of it." He muttered. "And I was afraid so so afraid. I was just a young boy then, and I already had nothing. I guess I'm still scared."

"Scared of what?" I asked. "Scared that everyone in the world will treat you that way? FairyTail doesn't care about what magic ability you posses, who your parents are, how much money you have, or anything to do with your past. They will all treat you like family. I should know... They took me in when I had almost lost all hope."

"Do you really believe they'll welcome me?" He asked.

"If I didn't would I have forced you to come here?" I asked.

"You've got a point." He sighed. "How is it that you always know what I'm feeling?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. It's a gift."

"Yeah well I've practically got you figured you out too." He sighed. "I figured out a lot about seeing your memories. My uncle taught me to see people's worst memories, but I can see the good ones to sometimes."

"Oh really?" I asked leaning back. I closed my eyes "And just how much do you know about me?"

"I know enough to know that dream of yours last night was real." He replied.

I opened my eyes looking over at him in shock.

"Sorry I didn't mean to pry, but sometimes I can't control it when I look into people's eyes." He apologized.

"It's fine." I replied. "How do you know it was real?"

"Kaya came up to me this morning and said she dreamed she saw her mother and friends before they disappeared into the sky. Just like your dream." He replied.

"Oh." I replied simply. So it was real? Then that means I really met my great grandfather... I felt a smile tug at my lips. "So have you seen Kaya's memories?"

"No." He replied quickly. "I'm too scared to look her in the eye. I don't want to see her go through any pain, no matter when it happened. I guess that's why I'm kinda protective of her. She's 18 and yet acts like a child. I don't really want her to change who she is, but I just wish she wasn't so reckless and irritating."

"Awe Nazar does someone have a crush?" I asked teasingly.

His face flushed pink. "What?! On that little twerp? No way!"

"Then why are you blushing?" I asked.

"Am I? God dammit." He muttered trying to hide it.

"Awe Nazar! I think it's cute!" I teased even more. "You two would make an adorable couple. The big tough guy protecting his innocent little girlfriend." I giggled.

"Shut up." He said his face turning even redder. Then he quickly turned the tables on me. "What about Lyon then, huh?"

I stopped laughing. "What about him?" I felt my face heat up.

"Well you two seem like you'd be a 'cute couple'." He replied.

I scoffed. "As if! Only if you want to start a war."

"Then why are you blushing." He smirked.

"Oh shut up." I punched him in the arm. Then I stood up. "So you ready to go talk to master Makarov now?"

He let out a deep breath, and then smiled. He stood up and nodded. "Yeah, let's go."

Hey guys a new part yay! I would have had this up earlier but my internet went out for 3 flipping days!!! >:( I was so angry. Once it's fixed this will be posted. Sorry for the delay.
