***Sahana's P. O. V***

With my heart fluttering in my belly, and my cheeks burning, I peeked into Arush's cabin - it was empty!

Heaving a sigh of relief, I made my way in, thanking all the Gods in the heaven above that the dinosaur was out of his den!

But no sooner had I reached the desk, than I heard the clicking of the cabin door's lock, and knew that the dinosaur was back in his den - with his prey aka me!

Gulping in fear and excitement, I slowly turned around, only to have all the wind knocked out of my lungs.

Leaning against the wall right next to the closed door, with his arms crossed across his chest, and his intense passionate gaze fixed on me, Arush smiled warmly at me when my eyes met his.

He looked so freaking sexy standing like that and gazing at me like that - my heart was beating a thousand times faster than usual, and my whole body started tingling for his touch.

"I....came back... For... My... Laptop" I stuttered, for reasons unknown, with my eyes stuck on his broad chest and his strong arms that usually wrap themselves around me, in a protective hug.

"And I came back for my girlfriend" he said, smiling at me, for which my cheeks started burning.

"We...should...get...going" I stuttered again, finally breaking my gaze away from this sex God and picking up my laptop.

I was expecting him to come to me and wrap his arms around me before pulling me into a demanding kiss - but I felt a wave of disappointment wash over me as I heard the door open, and turning around, I saw him leaving... Without even kissing me or hugging me!!

Pouting to myself, I picked my laptop and phone and dashed to the meeting room, only to find it almost full. Yeah sure I knew it was inter-team meeting and did expect a lot of people, but the problem was that I had to talk in front of all these people. Add to it that I was to sit next to Arush... You might as well laugh at me right now!

I felt the familiar anxiety gush through me and nervously, made my way to the vacant chair next to Arush, who was in deep conversation with Raj right on the other side of him.

Though deep in conversation, yet Arush's intense gaze followed me from the door till I sat down at the chair beside him, and I almost thought he took a deep breath when I sat down!

But I blushed not because of Arush... But because of Raj!! Raj - my dear boyfriend's dearest friend - though feigning innocence, kept smirking at me, and pursing his lips as though controlling his laughter, and given that Arush's hand almost grazed mine, the color of my cheeks only turned into deeper shades of red and pink!

The bitch aka Dia Sinha too was there, seated right opposite of Arush and looking at him so intently that it made my blood boil - oh bitch go fuck yourself!!

I clenched my jaw tightly at how her eyes gazed at every inch of Arush's face and his upper body as though he were her own! But I couldn't help the smirk at the thought that Arush never gave a squat to her, and the smirk on Raj's face was for me because his best friend was in love with me... not that bitch Dia Sinha!

There was a general murmur inside the room as everyone continued chatting away, and amongst them were Raj and Arush too, who were deep in conversation about the current and upcoming projects.

I sat there silently, biting my lip anxiously, and going-through the presentation I had prepared for the meeting whilst taking deep calming breaths.

I kept stealing sideway glances at Arush, whilst reading my presentation. All of a sudden, I saw  him shifting on his chair before he moved the chair forward, his arm brushing mine under the table.

Blood rose to my cheeks as Arush finally grasped my hand under the table, before intertwining his fingers with mine and pressing it gently - in a reassuring sort of way.

Though I felt greatly relieved by this gesture of Arush, but Raj's smirk and his occasional clearing of throat just to tease us kept my cheeks warm with all that blush.

I tried to pull my hand away from my dragon's iron grip, but Arush always has his way!

Untwining his fingers from mine, Arush again held my hand in a tight grip - but this time, instead of intertwining our fingers, he held my hand such that his thumb was on the back of my hand, caressing it slowly.

It was so intimate and sensual that blood instantly rose to my cheeks and I had to bite my lip to not moan out loud.

Arush knew perfectly well the effect his touch has on me, and yet, instead of letting go off of my hand, he tightened his grip as he continued his pleasurable torture, right there in the meeting room.

Abruptly, he let go off of my hand and yet again a wave of disappointment gushed through me. But blinking around, I saw the reason why he let go off of my hand and why he moved away slightly - Mr. Singh, Arush's boss - was here, and the meeting was about to begin.

Mr. Singh beamed at Arush as the latter moved to the door to welcome him inside. They chatted for a while like old buddies before Arush finally moved back and sat at the chair beside me.

Mr. Singh was Arush in another 30 years - an intimidating aura emanated from him, along with that of power and authority. He was well built and very fit, dressed in a chocolate brown suit and pairing it with a crisp white shirt and matching brown tie. His peppered hair was parted and combed neatly with copious amounts of hair gel - like Arush.

Everything from his nearly set hair to his shiny brown shoes screamed perfection - like Arush. And no wonder why he took to Arush!!

I couldn't help but smile to myself imagining Arush in the next 30 years - he too would be like this while I.... I'd be an old lady with greying hair and wrinkly skin!!

Hmpf I must do something about that... Can't grow old when I have such a hottie for a husband now can I?

The meeting began with Raj explaining the requirements that had been given by the customer, followed by the team tasks by Arush, and finally ending with me talking about the problems encountered and how they'd been resolved.

I could sense Arush gazing at me as I spoke, and more than blushing, I felt happy at his encouragement and wanted to do my best to not let him down.

By the end of the meeting, Mr. Singh's smile said more than his words. He congratulated me on my contribution to the project and said he was very pleased with my work.

All in all, half an hour later, Mr. Singh left the meeting room, looking very pleased at all of us. But as the rest of us tried to leave the meeting room behind Mr.Singh, Arush called for a halt, making all of us gape at him.

What was he upto?

Arush looked rather shy and anxious, making me smile encouragingly at him. He nodded his head as a thank you to me before clearing his throat loudly.

"All of you have worked very hard for the project.... I'm really impressed... We're all very impressed actually" Arush began, smiling at all of them.

I heard a lot of people choking and almost giggled at the realization that most of these people hadn't ever seen Arush smiling... Ever!! Boy that must have been a shocker!!

But my happy mood died away seeing that excuse-of-a-human-Dia Sinha gazing intently at him as though.... as though she's eye raping him!! Fucking bitch one of these days... I'm gonna teach her a nice lesson!!

"Since all of you... all of us have been working so hard for the past 6 months now... without a break... the department head Mr. Singh has agreed that we all deserve a break... a nice long break I mean... " Raj trailed off, grinning at everyone.

"So, the company is sponsoring a 4 day trip to Goa, seeing how most of us are single and ready to mingle" Suhas chirped, making everyone chuckle.

Suhas, like Raj and Arush, was the manager of another team - very efficient and very good looking too, but not as much as my man obviously!

"And for those of you with families, the company will sponsor for your spouse too..." Arush said, looking around at everyone, though his gaze lingered on me for a split second longer, making me blush.

Raj cleared his throat at the same time yet again - in a teasing sort of a way, making me blush yet again!

While everyone cheered and looked gleefully around, Dia Sinha gazed at Arush like he was a really tasty plate of food, just waiting to be devoured.

Oh surely he was a very tasty plate of food - but that plate of food belongs only to me, and me alone! And only Sahana Agarwal-to-be-Sharma can devour him!

Riya smiled gleefully and passed me a knowing look - meaning she'd be spending those 4 days in a romantic location with Kabir of course!

"The trip will be from 14th Feb, till 17th Feb... We'll be leaving early on 14th and reaching back by 17th evening" Suhas added, and again, everyone clapped gleefully, cheering.

"So, those of you who are willing to join the trip, please fill in the link that has been emailed to all of you" Raj said, grinning around.

"And those of you who won't be going on the trip... you can come to office at 9am and start work on the next project" Arush said seriously, looking around, and receiving only pin-drop silence in response, along with a few gloomy faces.

"Just kidding... for those of you who won't be joining the trip, enjoy your long weekend" Arush added, and again, receiving a lot of shocked faces in response.

Yeah obviously none of these people would know that my dragon can joke... wait... heck even I didn't know my dragon could joke!

"Yes people, Arush here does joke around occasionally,  and yes he can crack a smile too... he's not the humanoid you all thought him to be" Raj chirped, earning a lot of giggles including mine, but an angry glare as expected from Arush.

All in all, a very chirpy and happy group left the meeting room, me amongst them.

"So finally Sahana can join us back here, and live here instead of the lion's den" Sagar said, catching up with me and Riya as we made way to Riya's cubicle.

Not knowing what to reply to it, I just smiled meekly at him - of course he doesn't know that the lion in that den is my boyfriend and I'll be bidding goodbye to a lot of private moments with my boyfriend once I leave that lion's den... I mean.. Arush's cabin!!

"Next time you talk about the lion, make sure he's no where around you" came Arush's growl, making Sagar stand rooted to the spot, as all the color drained from his face.

"I... I...." Sagar stuttered, as Arush moved ahead of us, to stand right in front of us - facing us.

"This is your last warning... there won't be another warning" Arush growled angrily at Sagar, who nodded hurriedly and dashed off to his cubicle.

Riya gave Arush and me a nod before she too left us - alone.

"I need to discuss some things with you" Arush said curtly, as people passed by us looking very apprehensively at Arush.

"Okay" I said and followed Arush back to his cabin.

The moment the door closed shut behind me, Arush pulled me by my arm, taking away my laptop and phone and placing it on one end of his desk.

The next moment, I was pushed up against the wall next to the door - well hidden from all the people passing by the door.

With both his hands on either side of me on the wall, and his quick breath fanning my face, Arush glared down at me, while I looked up at him, rather bravely I must say!!

"Why...does...that...fucker... always... roam... with... you?!" Arush asked slowly, taking deep breaths between each word, as though calming himself.

"He's just my teammate Arush... you have nothing to be worried about, or get jealous" I said calmly, putting my hand on his bearded cheek and cupping his face.

I couldn't help the smile as Arush's face relaxed the moment my hand touched his skin, and he gave himself to my touch, making me blush yet again.

"So why do you get so jealous of Dia Sinha then?!" Arush asked all of a sudden, almost smirking at me.

"That bitch looks like she....she's....she's mentally devouring you!! Only I have all the right on you... nobody has any right to even think of you in that way" I said through gritted teeth, glaring at him.

"Now that's like a good...uh.. what's the female version of a dragon?! Dragoness?!" Arush asked seriously, making me giggle.

"So... Goa?!" I asked after a long silence - the silence in which he'd been staring intently at me, as though devouring me mentally. Though it made me blush, I also felt that something was terribly out of place... Arush wasn't ever this... okay he was a brooding angry young man but he was different with me. He kissed me....and hugged me and made me giggle....

But lately.... lately he'd taken to only gazing at me intently... like his life depended on it... like as though he was hungry and I was his food; like as though he was very thirsty and I was his water...

"No... these people are going to Goa... you and I will be going elsewhere.... some place that isn't filled  with half naked people and booze... but we'll go to a place that'll keep you in my arms all day, and all night long" Arush said with such passion and grit in his voice that I felt my cheeks burn, though all the blood in my body gushed south settling there and resulting in wetness between my legs..

"Is something wrong Arush?! Why won't you kiss me anymore?! Why have you distanced yourself from me, and why have you taken to just gazing at me like this?" I asked sadly, pouting at him and playing with his shirt buttons.

"I'm afraid.... afraid that if I kiss you then I'll get so carried away that I won't be able to stop it at that" Arush said seriously, caressing my cheek with the back of his hand.

"That's okay with me.... I want to be your's completely, like how you'll be mine completely" I said seriously, gazing up into his passionate eyes.

"And I am the happiest person on Earth to know that" Arush said, finally moving forward and kissing both my cheeks.
