***Sahana's P. O. V***

I could see the silhouette of two people and hear voices of two people - one male and the other female - coming from outside the main door.

The two people were standing with their backs to us from the looks of it and judging from Arush's horrified expression I could tell that they were probably his parents.

"Go to that side and hide... Quick!" Arush breathed, indicating the large side-table near the sofa, near the wall.

I quickly got up and Arush ran towards the door, to distract whoever was there outside. But instead of following his plan, I ran up the stairs and into his room, and closed the door except for a small gap to listen to their voices, while I hid behind that door.

"Arush...beta... why are you closing the door on our face" Came the voice of a woman and my face turning red with shame, waiting to hear if they've all seen me.

"Mom....dad.... You're....uh... early..I thought...Intruders.." I heard Arush stutter.

Ah the poor guy is lying for me... God please let his parents not have had seen me!!!

"Yeah well your papa has a conference call at 8 tonight..." Came the woman's voice and I heard the closing of a door.

My heart which had been hammering for so long had started to slow down a little... phew they've not seen me!!

"Why were you sitting here...alone?!" Came a man's voice now, sounding a little stern.

"I...uh...was... reading...um... newspaper....hadn't read properly in the morning" Arush said.

"Oh...okay...wait what's that?" I Arush's dad's voice now, and my breath hitched in my throat.

Fuck did I leave something down there?!

"It smells amazing....is it...sandwich?!" I heard his dad's voice and I let go off the breath I'd been holding for so long.

"My my it tastes amazing" came his voice again and I could hear relief in that man's voice.

"Yes I made it" Arush lied.

I heard loud echoing laughter from downstairs before his mom said "you and cooking? Beta when you're lying at least tell a lie that's plausible....Zindagi mein kabhi rasoi mein tune Pao nahi rakha hai aur abhi bol rahe ho k tum ne itna achcha sandwich banaya???" And chortled.

{Translation - you and cooking?! My dear son when you're lying do tell a lie that's plausible! You've never set foot in the kitchen in you're entire life and you're saying you've made such a good sandwich?!}

I couldn't help giggling myself but put a hand to my mouth to cover up the giggles - Arush doesn't know to cook!! A good thing to tease him now!!

"Meri bahu ayi thi Kya? Ussne banaya hai na yeh? Please tell me that this is my bahu's cooking" I heard his mom's hopeful voice and my heart jumped to my mouth.

{Translation - had my daughter come here?! She's cooked this right?? Please tell me that it's my DIL's cooking!}

She called me her bahu? Arush has told them about me? Oh holy fuck does she have a bad impression about me?!

Oh what the bloody hell their whole family is insane is it?! We've hardly been going out for like 2 days and Arush calls me his wife and his mom calls me her daughter in law?!

I can't say I'm not pleased but it's all too... overwhelming!!

"I'm telling you now that I won't spare you if you've scared her away!! Your mother and I have already accepted her as our daughter and we'll even exchange you for her" I heard his dad's voice.

Though I felt exceptionally proud and happy hearing his parents praise me even without having met me, I couldn't help the feeling of getting all overwhelmed - they're praising me without having even met me!! What if I'm not up to their expectations when I actually do meet them?!

"Fine your bahu cooked this for me and no I didn't scare her away. I was...uh feeling hungry... she prepared these for me and she left" Arush lied.

"You should have made her stay na beta?! I so want to meet the girl who's changed my son like this!" His mom said happily.

"I seriously had a doubt if this girl exists... Oh Arush I and your mother give our approval for that girl.... It's obvious she's a good girl and her family has brought her up well.... Whenever you want to marry her, just tell us and we'll do all the arrangements okay?" I heard his father say kindly

"But don't say all this to the poor girl...she might get scared and overwhelmed with all this now... Spend good time with her, both of you understand each other well enough and then tell her about wanting to get married okay?" His mom said sternly.

"Your mother had actually avoided me for one whole month after I'd asked her to marry me" his dad said, sounding very sad.

"That's because you'd popped the question 5 minutes into our date" his mom said icily, and I couldn't help giggle silently at that too!!

So the madness runs in the family then?!

"Well I'd known at first meet itself that I'll be marrying you...and I was right wasn't I? So many years have passed and look at us advising our son on dating" his father said brightly, to which his mom chuckled.

"Well Sahana doesn't scare so easy" Arush piped in, and all the laughter died away instantly, including my silent giggles.

Oh well in a way he was right....the prospect of marrying him really didn't scare me.

"Her name is Sahana?! She sure sounds like she justifies her name! A lot of patience is required to deal with you Arush" I heard his father say, chuckling.

"My bahu... When can I meet her?" His mom asked now, sounding extremely happy.

"You guys go freshen up... I'll be in my room... I'm tired.. watching a movie" Arush said, acting oblivious to his mom and dad's comments.

They both said a yes and soon there was silence except for the sound of footsteps and someone approaching Arush's room.

Before I knew it, he had walked into the room and bolted the door shut behind him, smirking at me.

"What?" I whispered but he continued to smirk as he placed his forefinger on his lips, indicating me to remain silent, and dragged me along with him to his bed.

Indicating me to sit, Arush switched in the television on the wall opposite to his bed and switched it to a music channel, increasing the volume to cancel out any noise from outside, and also hopefully that'll cut out the noise we'll make while we talk.

"I had hoped only for a day but my my I'm getting to spend the whole night with you" Arush whispered in my ear, sending a shiver of pleasure down my spine, and making me curl my toes automatically.

"I... Have to... Leave" I stuttered under his intense gaze that was creating havoc to my body.

"You can leave" Arush said, kissing my temple tenderly.

"But do you want to leave? With my parents down there?" He asked, his hand in my neck, caressing it softly.

An involuntary moan escaped my lips, and my brain felt numb, my whole body was waiting for him to move forward and engulf myself in his warmth.

"So let's continue what we were doing earlier" he said huskily, before dipping his head to the crook of my neck.

My fingers found his hair and clutched at his silky mane... Damn that's smooth!

My eyes closed of their own accord, and my skin burned under his lips which continued their slow torture.

I gasped and moaned as he continued to kiss and nibble at a spot on my on my neck, finally licking it.

"Never.... Knew.... It.... Would... Feel... So... Good" I heard him say in between his sweet torture.

I couldn't help but agree.... Never thought this would feel so good!!

Arush broke off and looked intently at me, my cheeks blushing more and more under that gaze of his.

Looking away from him, I started caressing his hand that was on my lap.

"How did you come in when I'd locked myself here earlier?" I asked him, remembering it all of a sudden.

Arush chuckled as he said "this room has a balcony that can be accessed from my sister's room... I just got to her room and entered through the balcony"

"fuck I had forgotten about the balcony" I said, slapping myself on the forehead.

"You won't have any worries when you'll meet my parents right? You heard how they're ready to trade me for you" Arush said, kissing me on my temple.

I had just opened my mouth to speak when my phone started buzzing in my pocket.

I looked at the phone screen to find my dad calling me.

Uh-oh!!

"Han papa" I said, receiving the call.

"Han beta I and your mother will be staying at your Chachu's place tonight... So ask Reyansh to come home quickly. I can't let you be alone at home for the night" papa said from the other side of the call while Arush started kissing the inside of my wrists.

"Han ok papa I'll call Bhai... I'm at a friend's place now and will be back soon" I said  in a hurry and after bidding bye to my father, I cut the call.

I glared at Arush who only chuckled and pecked my lips.

"Okay so I should get going now" I said, facing Arush, who was smirking so much... He looked like he'd gotten whatever he was wishing for.

"My parents are downstairs... How will you go?" Arush asked, feigning innocence and concern while his eyes were gleaming with mischief.

"Or do you want to go down and meet my parents?" Arush asked, barely able to control his smirk and glee now.

"Or you could stay here for a little while longer" Arush said huskily, his arms around me and his soft lips peppering kisses along the length of my neck.

"I.. uh.." I stuttered, and felt Arush smile against my neck before he pushed me on the bed and got on top of me.
