***Arush's P.O.V***

"Wait, you're Riya's boyfriend right?" the dude in the bike {Reyansh} added, making both me and Sahana groan loudly.

Both me and Sahana looked at one another for a second before Reyansh asked "And this is?" indicating me.

"He's my bo...boyfriend...Arush" Sahana said.

"What?" came the loud exclamations from me, Kabir and that dude Reyansh, simultaneously, making both Reyansh and Kabir look at me with raised eyebrows, while Sahana gave me a pleading and apologetic look.

"He's my boyfriend" Sahana said again, in a tone that I'm pretty sure is very close to a groan, which made me frown - why's she groaning if I'm her boyfriend?! Isn't she happy to have someone as handsome as me become her boyfriend?!

Yeah that is the thing to think about, and not why she called you her boyfriend?! - my subconscious mocked me.

Well isn't it obvious?! If she says I'm her boss, then Kabir will get to know that Riya works under me, hence this lie duh?!

"Asshole here has a girlfriend that I don't even know about?! Wait!!! Asshole is dating my sister?!" Kabir shrieked, making me frown at him - it's not nice of him to call me an asshole in front of my girlfriend and her brother {my would-be-saala}

I saw Sahana's beautiful lips tug into a smile that she so tried yet failed to control! Why isn't she defending me saying I'm not an asshole?! Because that's what you are - a huge asshole - my subconscious chided me!

"I never even knew that Arush had a heart, let alone have the capability to loose it to some girl, and let alone the fact that the girl he lost it to is my difficult to please sister!" Kabir mumbled, making Sahana actually giggle - and may I add that her giggle sounds sweeter than sugar?!

Bro you're doomed - my subconscious smirked at me. What did I do?!

"Sonu you have a boyfriend and you never told me about it?" the dude Reyansh asked Sahana, making her cheeks turn pink - man she looks so cute right now!

Wait her nickname is Sonu?! Aww!! Such a sweet name!

"I uh...he..um.." Sahana started stuttering, looking down at her feet.

"And you Arush?! You're supposed to be my best friend and you didn't even tell me that you have a girlfriend man! This is so freaking unfair! We could have had gone on double dates 'n stuff! My best friend dating my girlfriend's best friend?! Could it get any better?!" Kabir chirped, sounding very very very dreamy by the end of it.

Sahana shot her horrified eyes to Kabir, then to me, and then to her brother who continued looking at her suspiciously.

"So Arush is it?! And you're dating my sister? You know I'm very protective of her" Reyansh said in a serious tone, making Sahana gulp in horror.

Sahana looked at me in alarm, and sent me a pleading look.

"Uh..yeah I um...understand...I..uh... I myself have a sister, so I do know how you'd feel. But believe me, she's in very safe hands" I said automatically, looking at a slightly mollified-looking Reyansh.

I don't know what made me shoot my gaze to Sahana, who looked like she's just heard a talking frog, but her expression did make me smile - why's she so surprised?! I can act and take-up hints okay?! I may act cold 'n stuff but even I do have a heart!

"Wait does Riya know about you guys?! If so, why has she never told me about it?!" Kabir asked, looking from Sahana to me with a slight frown on his face.

"No no she doesn't" Sahana stuttered, again, shooting me an apologetic look.

"Ah well, hey Sahana, if you work here, then Riya must work here too right?!" Kabir asked, making Sahana's eyes go wide in horror.

"Wha..no... I uh...I...don't work here... I...cc...come here to meet him" Sahana stuttered, indicating me.

"So for the past one month you've been lying to me?" Reyansh asked Sahana who's face had gone white now.

"We weren't ready for others to find out about us, so we were meeting in secret.... it was me who told Sahana to keep our relationship a secret" I said to Reyansh while Sahana looked a little calmer, but shock was pretty evident in her face. Is she shocked that I joined-in her lie?!

"Oh..still, could have had told me..." Reyansh mumbled.

"Sorry bhai" Sahana said to both Kabir and Reyansh.

"Well I'll accept the apology if you guys agree to go on a date with me and Riya...a double date! I'm not taking no for an answer...and woah look at the time! I have a meeting in half an hour...well, see you later" Kabir said looking at his watch and after shaking hands with Reyansh, he bid goodbye to me and Sahana and dashed off towards his office building.

"So now tell me who is this really" Reyansh asked Sahana, indicating me, once Kabir was out of sight.

"And you can never successfully lie to me okay?" he added, making Sahana give him a small smile.

"This is Mr. Arush Sharma, my boss" Sahana said, and Reyansh eyed me from head-to-toe, making me feel like a criminal under observation.

True that Reyansh was well built - better than me in fact! But hey I shouldn't be afraid of him right?! Even I have the strength to take-him-down in a fight!

I gulped nervously {God knows why I'm nervous!} as Reyansh looked at me through narrowed eyes, and then turned to look at Sahana and said "He's your boss?! And you called him your boyfriend?! This is really interesting" and smirked.

"Not like that bhai! C'mon! The day we started working here, Riya told me that Kabir has friends in this office, and hence he should never get to know that we're working here or he'll use his influence on her career, and she doesn't want it at all! She's been stressed lately because of it! I'd met Riya and Kabir a couple of weeks ago when he said that he has friends working here, and he'd be able to help in Riya's career if she was working here... I know she doesn't like anybody's influential help and that day she fought with him regarding it and well, Kabir doesn't find anything wrong in what he'd said...so if he got to know that she works here then that's probably the end of their relationship...they love each other, but he's really protective of her, and she just feels that his protectiveness should exclude her career" Sahana said, and things slowly started making sense to me.

"But... well if it's creating issues now, won't it create a bigger issue and possibly a huge fight when Kabir does eventually find out that Riya's been lying to him?!" Reyansh voiced the doubt in my mind.

"That's what I had asked Riya...she said there's some other friend of Kabir who's really sensible but is currently out on some business trip and he'll be able to talk sense to Kabir once he's back. She's planning on continuing the lie only till that other dude comes back" Sahana said, making me wonder who that other dude is.

Is she referring to Raj?! Wait!!! Riya thinks that asshole Raj is much more sensible than me?! What the damn hell?!

"Actually she wanted me to talk to Kabir regarding it...like brainwash him and make him understand why she wants to be independent 'n stuff...but then he'll get suspicious if I talk about the topic, so Riya said to wait for this friend of Kabir... think bhai... she's been so controlled by her family, all her life! She even had to fight with her family to let her work in corporate, and now if he's going to use his influence for her job, isn't it just some sort of a control over the only independence she has?! It's not Kabir's fault either... he really loves Riya and he feels that he can solve any problem in her life...he wants her to be happy, always! He doesn't want her to suffer and struggle with anything" Sahana said, sighing.

"Wow! And I thought love was really simple" Reyansh said, as all three of us chuckled.

"It maybe simple with the right person! It would have had been simple for those guys too, had they just sat down and talked! Riya should actually talk to Kabir, make him understand her situation. A sweet guy like Kabir who loves her so much would surely understand!" Sahana said, making me look at her - she said Kabir is sweet! Can someone please ask her if she thinks I'm sweet too?! Not that it matters, just....for my knowledge that's all! Hey don't look at me like that! I was just wondering, that's all!

"So your solution was to call your khadoos boss as your boyfriend?" Reyansh asked smirking, making Sahana's eyes go wide in horror.

He called me khadoos right?! So Sahana too thinks I'm khadoos?!

"I'd have told some other lie, had Kabir not spotted me at the office cafeteria a few days ago....at the time I'd told him that I came here to meet a friend, but Kabir took the friend to mean boyfriend! I bumped-into him again yesterday, and then too I said that I've come to meet my friend and he started teasing me that I've come to meet my boyfriend 'n stuff...so finally I gave in and lied that my boyfriend works in this office 'n stuff....he brought the lie, and then today well, he believed it... " Sahana said and shrugged.

Reyansh looked at Sahana for a whole minute before he burst into laughter, making Sahana flush even more.

"You still have a chance to think of it... I'll accept him if he's your boyfriend" Reyansh said, indicating me to Sahana and winking at her, while Sahana's cheeks turned into a whole new shade of red - man she's cute!

"I...uh...pp..please forgive me sir.... my brother tends to get carried away very easily... he can pull his sister's leg, but doesn't have the guts to talk to his crush" Sahana said to me, almost smirking at the end and this time it was Reyansh's cheeks to turn red.

"It's not my fault if she's already in a happily committed relationship okay?" Reyansh said, still looking quite flushed.

"Still, I had the guts to call my boss as my boyfriend " Sahana muttered while smirking, making Reyansh glare at her.

These two so remind me of my own silly bantering with my sister! Truly, the relation between a brother and sister is one of the most special things ever! A sister can call you names and pull your leg so much, but she'll be the first one to take your side during your tough times!

"I'll pick you up today evening" Reyansh said coolly to Sahana and then turned to me as he said "Nice meeting you. And you can give a lot of extra work to my sister here, you know, as a revenge for calling you khadoos, Hitler-sala, and also lying that you're her boyfriend" and smirked while pink tinges made their appearance on Sahana's cheeks.

"Nice meeting you too... and about the extra work...well, I believe that revenge is a dish best served cold" I said, winking at Reyansh who smirked before putting on his helmet and riding away on his bike.

A horror-stricken Sahana looked at me with eyes as wide as saucers, pink tinges on her cheeks while fidgeting with her pretty fingers, waiting for me to speak.

Oh boy this is gonna be so much fun!!! ***muhahahaha - imagine me smirking in an evil way!***
